We never write reviews but we love this game so much. We wish there were even more worlds. We like that you can build whatever u want. Im pretty sure the star system is based on time. We wish there could be different modes to achieve 3 stars in, like least time, least materials, most materials, etc. Very fun we enjoy this very much.

Really enjoyed this. Its a lot like one of our favorite computer games, Fantastic Contraption. Stars are based on how fast you can get the solve by the way.

We love this game. It took a while to figure out some of the rules since the training session could include some more details. But before too long we were really into it. And it’s free! Honestly, its worth money. Hope there is a sequel!

One of the greatest iOS games out there, period. Heres a vote for more worlds please!

This is a charming, but underrated little game for mobile. Solving the puzzles in this game is more fun than it sounds at first. We played fantastic contraption when that first came out, and couldnt get enough. This is a stroll right down that nostalgic lane, with some nice features that FC didnt have. The only thing we want that this game lacks, is More and harder levels please.

Do not give up. Combinations of wheels, chains, rafts, catapults and arms/paddles will help with obstacles. Time as in speed appears to be the criteria for more stars. This continues to be the most enjoyable game we have recently experienced. Thanks very much!

Us an others we’ve shared this with are enjoying the heck out it. Quite a diamond in the rough. Hopefully more people that enjoy it will pick it up and give it a shot. The interesting and creative ways to solve the puzzels are endless and sometimes comical. Share it with a friend.

Fantastic. We are wondering if some more unique components could be added beyond the basic components available, perhaps in later levels! To give it more of a unique twist from fantastic contraption. Thank you for the game. Also, tip for those who have trouble – make a catapult. Attach a long rod to the edge of a wheel.

This game is very well built and with no ads! A serious challenge but the parts are powerful and the possibilities are endless. More levels please!! As some have mentioned, Id like a clearer explanation of the star system – it seems to be based purely on time but the the goals are not explicit. Also an explanation of the parts – it seems like dotted lines are both transparent to the ball AND lighter? But Im not sure. Another feature that would take this game to the next level is being able to see how other people solved the same level after you complete it, or maybe after you get 3 stars to preserve the challenge. Right now it shows rankings but we want to be able to see everyone elses creativity. Great game!!

This game is great. Basically a direct remake of fantastic contraption and that is exactly what we were wanting, as we used to play that game all the time. The visual design of the game is a nice touch, and we haven’t run in to any issues so far. We appreciate that there is a leaderboard, however in future the ability to see and play out other people’s uploaded designs would be awesome. Also the ability to make your own maps to play out yourself or to upload for others to try out would also really take this game to the next level.

We love this game and cant wait till new levels are added but we do wish that there was an option to have a snap grid as well as a sandbox level so that we could make things that wouldnt fit in the regular levels.

Loved the ability we had to just build things we thought might work, and figure out solutions by trial and error. Once you get a few techniques down, its fun to fool around to get your best time. However, towards the end of world 2, the puzzles seem nearly impossible. We wish there were more medium difficulty puzzles. Also, maybe a way to skip a level, and not too reliant on stars to unlock new worlds. We want to see what other levels you have, but hit a wall.

Only thing lacking is an understanding of how stars are achieved. If its based on items used, assign them each a dollar value (eg, wheels are $100) and then set a budget for each level (eg, $500 spent = 3 stars, $650 = 2 stars, etc.). If its based on time, tell the user what to strive for (eg, 10 sec or less = 3 stars). Because right now we have now idea why Im getting 1 star on some and 3 stars on others. Also – users need the ability to replay the intro / how-to. (I dont know the difference between the solid and dashed lines, and would like to go back and view the demo again.)

Just bought this game , tried for a short time and decided that the controls for this game are minimal and less than intuitive. Not sure that we will keep it.

We enjoy the game but Im not sure how the star ratings are calculated? Is it a function of time or number of components? Just curious. Also an undo button would be pretty solid.

We left a more detailed review previously and it vanished. Ill just say cool game and add an undo move option and ability to save a level once competed please. It would be cool to go back and view past levels and how you solved them. Thats all.

If you loved Fantastic Contraption youll love this game. The only things we can see to improve on would be an undo button, and the option to save our contraptions from previous levels.

After the update, the screen now rotates the right way. Thanks for the quick fix.

Great production values, charming sound design, and of course a great engine. Get this if you liked Fantastic Contraption before it went VR.

We love it! Feels fresh and new but reminds us of the designs of the golden age of Flash games.

We love this game. Fun and relaxing. Just one thing. The app icon is bigger than others’. It’s bugging us.
