We never could get the hang of tilt controls for grid autosport. This game is much better for tilt players. We just wish certain tracks & cars were in the game. Now that real racing 3 is getting shut down, this is a great replacement for it. In fact.its better than RR3.

This game is phenomenal. Besides all the amazing tracks, vehicles, stories and tournaments, we are particularly impressed by how it caters to different levels (or types) of player. To make an enjoyable racing game is a tough task. Yet to make a game enjoyable for all kinds of players (be it rookies or pros) is way more difficult.But here it is. Great job.
Grid Legends on iPad is straight-up next level. Honestly worth every dollar.

Its an exceptionally well-crafted racing simulation game that offers top-notch gaming experiences comparable to those found on real consoles. Additionally, its great to just purchase a full game and own it without any subscriptions. Im delighted to see the iPad gaining access to real games.

This game is great but is a little much for the devices with the a16 ex. IPad a16 or the iPhone 15 (we have run it on both runs better on iPhone 15 because of the extra gpu core) frame rate drops are common with pixelated graphics in high intensity moments in the race or distance if theres some way to increase sharpness of the graphics that would be awesome in terms of seeing further down the track, stutters are common and sometimes confusion in witch way to go due to pixelating hope it can be fixed Note to devs Does this in graphics an its worse in battery save mode if you actually want to fix it.
Its a really nice game but we cant play it since Im on an older iPhone but we recommend since it seems like a really fun game.
When playing drift races, the game stops working, the picture of the game stops and the sound continues to work.
We should have known the AI opponents would be horrible in this game, as this is the same developer that made the infamous F1 game that featured notoriously bad AI. It was so bad with so many complaints that they removed the game entirely. On top of that, you cant change the position of controls so our steering thumb is constantly tapping the mirror or flashback button. Additionally, the cloud save feature is extremely inconsistent and we have to complete races over again because it didnt save. Its hit or miss, some save and some dont. Its 2025 this is pretty ridiculous. Also, why cant we qualify for race position? This is supposed be a sim and we cant qualify which is a part of almost every motorsport on the planet? So we just start in last for every race forever? We gave it 2 stars because the graphics are solid.
Just for only about $20 you can get the game plus all of the DLC along with it. Performs quite well on a iPhone 16e at a locked 30 FPS sometimes dips but we dont care. Its literally grid legends in your pocket. Please pick this up. Its worth it.
We wish that we could have a motion blur intensity slider because it looks good but drains a lot of battery and is to blury in our opinion.
Amazing racing game both on console and now mobile, Im using a 14 pro max. The game runs great for the most part except when using performance mode, we get a lot of weird flickering artifacts on the vehicles. Hopefully the devs fix it in a future update, but until then we will just play in graphics mode because it does not do it when using that mode. Thumbs up to the devs for such a great port to mobile.
This game is very good port from ps4/ps5 to iOS done right. The graphics are jaw dropping, it has a variety of cars from the real world and each drives and feels different. It has a few story modes, career mode and free play. Gameplay is very good, we recommend atleast iPhone 14 and up for smooth gameplay, it might work also on older models but the performance wont be as good. Im playing this on iPhone 16 Pro and its just like we would play it on our Ps5. For $14.99 its worth every penny. Compared to many other games where u have to pay money to get a decent car this games has all the good cars and you only pay once and have the entire game. For any racing fan this is a must buy, we highly recommend this game.
It's been a long time since we've actually been excited about a game, and this certainly is worth the fee, played for less than an hour and already am loving it, we would only like to be able to download both the HD and normal graphics so we have everything and can switch if our battery is too low or something. Other than that, a new era of fun has arrived and this game is an example of that, sincerely thank you, and great job.
Will regular iPads ever be supported for this game.

Im very happy to play such a game on the mobile terminal, but some of the details still need to be polished. For example, the problem we wrote about the dead zone in the title, which makes us unable to control the racing car more directly. We hope that it can allow players to independently adjust the size or close of the dead zone like a generation of GRID Autosport. Thank you.

Absolutely the best racing game/simulator for mobile devices. Next generation console quality graphics, physics, and game play. Very high frame rates coupled with eye-watering graphics. Well worth the one time purchase price for everything this gem has to offer. 5 stars is such an underrating, easily merits much more.
Long time Grid Autosport fan here. This game is amazing! The only thing missing is more actual race tracks, like the ones included in Autosport. Theres too much emphasis on city circuits, but as whole the game is brilliant.
You should drop it on switch 2 when it come out.

The game graphics are too blurry, and the resolution is clearly incorrect, but there's no option to change it.
We are enjoying the game so far. Feral Interactive did an excellent job porting this to mobile, runs perfectly on our M2 iPad Pro. It really is amazing to see console games coming to mobile. Minor bug that needs to be fixed where most people probably don't even do in this game (especially on mobile) is the ability to only use photomode in replay. We don't know if this is also this way on the console, we do find it weird that it has to be that way. Also depth of field in photo mode is bugged as it is not even functional at all. Would love you guys to fix this as soon as possible. Enjoying the game overall though.
Its kinda fun. More realistic than most driving games. Great that theres no in app purchases or timers. Could be better if they removed the gold coin nonsense and had many more actual real life tracks and not these silly fake street tracks. The story part also seems unnecessary, we just skipped all the cut scenes. The car physics are prob the best part. The AI opponents are pretty aggressive–if real life drivers were that nasty theyd get their superlicenses revoked.
Over heats on iPhone pro 16 max with in 5 min and thermal throttles, this doesnt even happen with re2 remake on max settings 1080p ai upscaling off. Another issue is graphical quality sharp downgrade when playing on performance like one person mention before as if its a dying pc then it would fix on the next race.
This is a very unbiased review that stems from our own experiences and competitive experiences from playing other racing games and games in general grid legends has one thing down the cars the vehicles and liverys tuned and ready to race and can be tuned once more by the player this game has 2 major down sides that really hold it back extremely important 1 the ability to adjust graphics settings there is options namely the display section in the menu but it is extremely limited only really have 4 options batter saver and cinematic mode as well as turning on and off motion blur this game really needs to fine tune gui we play on a iPhone 14 and we still get mixed frames even with battery saver mode secondly which now that we talk about it is just as important if not more the controls sure the game is nice and all but whats the fun if you cant be good at it you have 3 options arrows told and virtual thumb stick am going to say this now and brutally honest its horrible in a game where the only thing you need to do is turn left or right you are a virtual joystick that can move a full 360 and then ontop of that there no option to keep it fixed but here o have advice ADDa steering wheel control option on a lot of mobile racing games that we play and come across with the steering wheel is such a blessing oh and also the precise controls of the throttle and break are all nice but its really hard to be accurate then now think people have big fingers and just fat finger the button over all 3/5 would play again but Im getting a refund.
As a longtime fan of GRID Autosport, Legends feels like a downgrade in everything that matters. Sure, the visuals are sharper and the story mode is a novelty but the freedom is gone. You cant race whatever car or track you want. Tuning has been replaced by shallow upgrades. Content is locked behind progression. It looks next-gen but plays like mobile-lite. If you care about control, variety, and real racing Autosport still wins, hands down.
We bought this game to play on our iPad and after we downloaded it is when it told us its not available for portable devices. How do we get our money back.
This game is amazing as usual by the grid developers. The biggest gripe we have is when devs dont have an option to change graphical fidelity beyond performance or fidelity we wish there were options to unlock the framerate to 120. If you see this developers our rating will reach 5 if this is added in! Thank you.

Even with all assists turned off the game has handling assist activated. Please add the option for us to turn it off just like GRID autosport.
Around 150 cars, tons of tracks, story career mode with fun drama and live action cutscenes, all the dlcs with other story mini careers, free challenging career mode without story but with tons of events and customization, lots of settings difficulty vice etc. Perfect work of bringing it on IOS. Buy it right now.
GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition is incredibly realistic, with stunning graphics, physics, and sound that immerse you completely in the world of motorsports. Every race is thrilling and addictive. We give it five stars, but if we could, Id give it even more. However, adding an open world mode would be groundbreaking. Being able to explore roads, cities, and landscapes freely while enjoying the cars would be the perfect addition to this already impressive simulator. Its the only thing missing.
Ive done two races on easy mode with a ps5 controller (it had stick drift bad)we wanted to bring this on the bus. Ive been testing it and its no longer got stick drift, and this game is very smooth so far. We never played it and will forever love this as a mobile racer even though its a full ps4 games.
This game truly is amazing but for some reason in the story mode it wont let us continue after 31. Back in the fight. Idk if im doing something wrong or this is a bug but im really disappointed.
So we adore Grid Legends on our PS5. It helps that we love both Subaru and Porsche and there is a solid variety of both makes in the game. So we decided to spring for the iOS version for our iPad Mini 7 and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The port is excellent, it feels just like the console version. Im using a SteelSeries Nimbus+ controller. These can be had for $20 on eBay. They arent the best controllers but for iOS devices, but they just work. They link up wirelessly quickly and without any fuss, and have long battery life. Anyway, we really wanted to give the iOS port a try because we use our phone and controller at work on our breaks to play PS Remote Play, but the internet latency makes racing and other fast sports games not as fun when played remotely. This iOS port of Grid Legends fixes that issue with a native, local install of the game on our device. The only thing that could make it better is if it could somehow synchronize our save state with PlayStation , but thats asking too much. So in the meantime Ill just ask for adaptive trigger support, instead. Console or mobile, we really appreciate the variety of this game in general. Not just of the cars and tracks, but even the way we race the cars if we are using a first person camera from inside the car, in which case it leans more toward sim. If we go external rear camera, the closer one of the two rear cams makes it feel more arcade. Its nice to be able to tune our experience. Almost like two games in one. We also play other racing games across the spectrum, including GT7, NFS, F1 23/24, HotWheelsUnleashed2, etc.. But Grid Legends is the only one we dont mind playing for several hours at a time.
Impressive title and a blast to jump in to for some quick, gritty, elbow-to-elbow racing action. The difficulty settings are easy to adjust and fun to play around with, but the AI racers really amp up the sense of immersion with an aggression setting that can be turned on that makes it feel like they really want to win. What we also found nice was the amount of accidents we found the AI getting into. This makes the races feel more dangerous and really keeps you on your toes.

This game is amazing and much better than Grid Autosport. Our best purchased game in App Store! We have an idea imagine we can connect two Xbox or PlayStation controller and play Grid legends together in single device. We have an iPad and we really love to play this game together with our friends like what we see in consoles.
