The game. Is as fun as it is challenging! We are enjoying it immensely. Kudos.

We like the game because it is not so difficult to follow like some games.

We gave it 5 stars we like the game.

We liked the game a lot- we found it an excellent addition to the series. The HOPS were clear and the puzzles interesting.

Love all the game from Big Fish!!!!

We like this game very much. Thanks.

This was an interesting one, we play these a lot and don’t get why someone said there is only nine puzzles. There are plenty, and they are challenging. We totally enjoyed the story, and the collectibles you have to buy with tokens were very cool and educational. We could have done without the skull collection, but some of them were cool looking. All in all, we recommend this game.

We love all the Grim facade games. We love macabre and creepy so these games are our favorite. Easy gameplay, puzzles are unique and fun, and if you play them in order…. They actually maintain the storyline! Keep it up BG!

We think it’s very interesting makes u think it’s enjoyable so far.

We really enjoyed this game and no technical issues!

We really liked this game – it was just too short!

Won’t be purchasing full version because length seems short based on the description. Also very tiny inventory items on iphone 6. It’s a shame because we love most ERS games.

WARNING: Some of you might be offended by the violence, blood, and gore! The plot does not bring any new ideas to the table; rather, it copies and pastes the typical fear-inducing storyline dominating every horror-themed game. The settings typify the perpetual murky and shuddersome backgrounds as you observe the following: a macabre scarecrow, resting on a rusted mailbox, with deformed facial features caused by piercing barbed wires; a debilitated house blighted by debris-ridden rooms, as well as blood-stained threats painted on the walls as a harbinger of evil yet to come; and the haunting graveyard full of decrepit tombstones, swampy pathways, and dire-looking statues of angels. The illustrations depict some violent and bloody images, such as the spine-tingling butchering of a young couple in their bed; however, due to our inclination toward horror stories, we’re unaffected by the images. The graphics are realistically rendered to showcase this developer’s mastery of the visual arts and technical drawing skills required to set them apart from their less adept peers. The color scheme, of course, is represented by a monotonous tinge of bluish-gray that complements an overcast and shadowy environment. The background effects, such as the heavy downpours and the barking of dogs, contribute toward an apprehensive and minacious perception. Furthermore, if you tap around enough, you will be entertained by effective animations, such as turning lamps on and off. You will toy with an overused gimmick, which disrupts playtime and does little to spark our imagination. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; when an item is ready for assembly, it will blink green to alert you. In custom mode, the teleport map enables DELAYED travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions; additionally, non-map transition between scenes is slightly lagging. The HOSs are interactive and puzzle-like, but they solely comprise about three types. You will revisit the same scenes twice, and this outmoded practice is a lazy excuse to curtail the number of scenes to explore. The puzzles have an old-school effect in which they take some time and effort to solve, rather than implementing a two-step approach to complete them. We love that intricate maze puzzle! You are denied a journal to record the story; but you acquire varying articles of information, such as posters and notes, to keep you apprised. One set of collectibles is integrated into the storyline because you find coins to buy products from a mysterious vendor to advance your investigation. Be aware that some collectibles are found within the HOSs. Overall, this game has an outdated feel–like from 2013; for example, we loathe having to apply an inventory item multiple times to the same object or area since it disrupts the fluidity of progression. Moreover, our journey is passing briskly along; so it is evident that this is a short game–a distinct trait throughout this series. We purchased this game due to the lack of availability of an alternative. This game is a big step backwards after a series of successful releases. Our true rating is 2.5 stars; in spite of that, we’ve raised it to a final rating of 3 stars to reflect the superior graphics and lack of other technical glitches.

Unfortunately this game feels very old, klunky and dated. Inventory items are tiny, hint useless, heaven help you in some of the puzzles because hint won’t tell you where to put the saw or how to move the branches (no more – spoilers – but saw goes on the planks). Entire thing feels like a beginner threw it together. Buy only if desperate for entertainment and do play the preview first. Btw collect skulls in the hop.

No So Smart, There are only 9 puzzles. They said this because it’s true? If you go into the extra menu, you’re able to replay all the HOS and the puzzles. If you count the puzzles, there are only 9 puzzles. So this is why someone said there are little puzzles in this game. Onto our review: 3 stars and we’re being generous! This is a game from 2016! We’ve been seeing a lot of this lately, and we think it’s because Big Fish is running out of Developers to do business with. They are putting so much pressure on these developers to get games out quickly, we end up with not so great games like this one! We’ve only seen a few developers with BF now. Elephant games, Eipix, ERS, and a couple we can’t remember. ( Thats how good they were) so you have a hand full of Devs trying to spit out a couple games a week. Not working anymore BF! Your motto, "A new game everyday" is producing mediocre games. Luckily old developers were familiar with, have been putting out their own games without the hand of BF like, Five-BN-UK LTD Artifex Mundi Alaware Microids Jetdogs oh And Maximize Games *** Where’s Blue Tea when you need them**** Now they really put out some beautiful games! Some of the above Developers, use to partner with BF awhile ago but no longer do we don’t think. Anyway if your bored, search these developers and take a look. We’ve been searching for other Developers to support besides BF, because BF doesn’t seem to care about the quality of the games they put out, they just want them out. Any-who, The plot or storyline we’re SO confused about. What IS the plot? Why did the killer do what he did? What about the orphanage? We have so many unanswered questions from this story. Why is the dude called "Bloody Stanley"? There are so many other stories just like this one so this isn’t a unique story. At least the voice acting was good. If you don’t like blood, or gore this ISN’T the game for you! It’s a murder mystery. We mean it’s suppose to be a murder mystery, and there’s usually blood and gore when a killer cuts the throats of his or her victims. Your able to chose some of what you say to people in the game. Some of the puzzles were weird, and HOS aren’t anything special! Same ol’ game and story but a different year they put it out in. C’mon BF quit giving us dated games! Only collectible skulls in the Hidden Object Scenes. Collectable gold coins to buy collectable knives, and you have a little fact info tagged along each knife. Then you have these silver coins, you MUST collect, otherwise you won’t be able to buy from the guy on the street, AND you won’t be able to pay your taxi fair, in a horse in carriage. Spoiler alert! The guy on the street that you have to buy things from, here’s some advice without trying to give it away, You need to be careful what you say to this guy, it could really cost you!! By the way, they didn’t have taxis or fairs back in the 1800’s. Blahahaha. We may be wrong, but this just doesn’t fit to us. There aren’t any morphing objects NO JOURNAL MAP IS WORTHLESS! The extra content is also worthless! Just curious, didn’t we use to have an option to buy the "Standard" version OR the "Collectors version"? There haven’t been any games lately that have a lot to do in the extra menu to keep buying the collectors edition to us. Just the bonus game and that seems to be a standard now? We had a glitch in one of the HOS, in the back yard in the greenhouse. Some of the items were right at the line where you hit to go back to the previous scene (and really really close to the hint button, so we mistakenly hit the hint in an HOS which we never use) so we were taken back to the previous scene, and had to go back into the HOS, once we were back in, our bar that shows all items needed to find, was gone and replaced with white dots. We could hit items, (guessing of course) but going back out and into the HOS didn’t work. Had to completely go out of the game, then back in, and our bar was back. Not a major glitch but enough to annoy us. All in all, this one wasn’t a great game like Hidden Expedition that we just played! Again, 3 stars for us and we are being generous!! Hugs to all the DTE & friends. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Happy Gaming friends! Mini Paws Volunteer Please Spay, Neuter AND microchip your pets! You may need that chip one day, and altering your pet will help prevent cancer at an older age! Please adopt a shelter animal.

Nobody on the DTE gave this game more than 3 stars. We are bored so we will try the demo, but seriously BigFish, we need more games. If we get one good one and then one that isn’t that adds up to one quality game per week! Enough is enough. There are other developers to use. What about Domini, Mariaglorum, Daily Magic, Sunward and BOOLAT? ERS has deteriorated badly, Mad Head is not as enjoyable as it was originally, and that leaves us with Elephant and EIPIX, both of whom provide quality games. That is simply not enough. Artifex Mundi has nothing new out. If you have nothing to play, we played Kingdom of Aurelia and Witch’s Pranks: Frog’s Fortune. These were both by Absolutist. They were fun games; however they are on the expensive side at $4.99 per game. At least you will have something to play if you want to spend your money. Both of them were fun and it will keep you busy until Monday. We did buy this game but only because we were bored. This game was very dated, the HO scenes repeated and most of the puzzles were boring rotational junk. We only really liked the labyrinth puzzle. The map was not totally useless but close. At least you could customize settings, inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble; however the items were extremely small. Tasks were updated but there was no real journal; you find evidence along the way to point you in the right direction. Loading was not instantaneous between locations, or to access the map. You must collect coins to buy inventory items and pay the coachman. Those coins were silver, and you collect gold coins to decorate a knife and skull trophy room. Skulls are collected in HO scenes. At least there were no morphing objects to annoy us. You get to question suspects. The storyline was not original. The graphics were not great, and it wasn’t a long game, even with the bonus adventure. You get a magical amulet to discover hidden secrets. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. At least it kept our interest. We didn’t encounter glitches however. But there was a rat for us in the bonus adventure! Still this game was something to waste time. Our review will stand at 3 stars for just average. Lynxie sends to Dracyy, KimTwilight, Izzyoc, Catalina and Minipaws Volunteer, our wonderful and amazing DTE! Oh, and for those of you who don’t like us giving them a shout-out, tough! To you bullies we say bye, Felicia! Lol!

This game is short and a little dated. We hate to start with what so many others have stated but, it’s soooo dated. It feels like something we played long ago. Nothing new, nothing exciting… Nothing to see here – move along. As we said, it’s not awful, just not that good. We would not pay full price for this one. In fact, we purchased at the sell price and am a little bummed that we spent anything on this game.

Good game but greedy Big Fish has to interrupt demanding a review. We would score it higher but that group is offensive.

One creepy game. We suppose it you like horror movies u might like this, but we find disgusting skulls and such a turn off. Gave it a 2 because we figured someone might like it.

Huge disappointment in this series – functionality is very poor with numerous tapping required. Found this game to be very boring, frustrating and well behind the times. A huge file and yet the game was way too short & definitely a waste of money. Nothing special about the hidden object scenes and as far as purchasing items using your coins, pretty pointless. Voice acting we felt was very poor, with the storyline being grotesque and weak. Transporting map, that was not very helpful majority of the time. Nothing good to say about this mess other than the graphics at times were nice. Felt like the developers just threw this game together in a hurry. Don"t expect much if you decide to purchase it – we know that we are sorry we did. (Outdated – Short & Poorly Done) KdBoots ( 2 stars being a generous rating)

ERS used to be one of our favorite developers, but lately their offerings are sub-par. Not only was this game extremely short, but the game play was clunky and very dated feeling. The safe puzzle in the bonus play does not work. We suggest you pass on this one.

We love to play all the games in the Grim Facade series but this one was awful. We agree with previous reviews that it was amateur, especially compared to the rest of the series. The graphics were still good and the story line was interesting but the game itself was stuttered and slow. :(

The premise of this game was fine with us. However, we were very disappointed that it was so short. "Clunky" is the perfect description for this game. We wish we had waited for reviews before purchasing this one because we would not have.

Could have been an interesting game, but it fell very short. Clunky story line and tedious, glitchy HOPs. End was confusing and didn’t want to bother with the bonus game.

In the greenhouse. Could not figure out for the life of us what to do with the saw once we picked it up. Can someone help us? It’s super frustrating!

We haven’t seen a game in ages that deserves 5 stars, which is disappointing, but we enjoyed this game more than most. Update: The game keeps freezing, after we bought it! GRRRRR! We’re in the foyer with the fireplace, in Chapter 5. We have directions to make a potion. The hint told us to do something with it, so we put the bottle of acetate with it, though we dont have the other ingredients. Then, everything freezes. End of game. The heart is in the upper right hand corner, though we don’t know why. We close the game. Try again. Same. Tried it several more times. Get the same problem, even though the hint is telling us to do it. Come on developers! Fix this thing! We have deleted it now, and reinstall ed it. We’ll see if it gets stuck again. Very frustrating!

Another game we can’t even finish . Done! Enough said!

Can someone help. We enjoyed the game till we got to the greenhouse and don’t know what to do with the saw and dried branches. They don’t connect. Help us please. Can’t finish game.
