What Makes Guess the Rule: Logic Puzzles Stand Out

A square next to a circle? A red triangle on the left? One of each color? There’s a secret rule to determine which sequences of 3 colored shapes are allowed and which are not. Using your powers of inductive logic, you must predict whether each new sequence fits. Collect evidence, adjust your predictions, and guess the rule–it’s a lot like the scientific method!

Guess the Rule is easy to learn but difficult to master. Start with simple rules, but if you want to spice things up, try double rules joined by “and” or “or”. You’ll find endless challenges, some of which are absolutely diabolical!

Play alone or with friends! Compete for daily high scores, or see who can guess the rule fastest in a pass-and-play match.

Features:
-Endless variety of possible rules
-Quick sessions
-Simple 2-button interface
-2 levels of difficulty

Community Insight:

If you read the app description, it says youll have to make use of the scientific method. Not only that, but you feel a sense of accomplishment if you get the rule right! We highly recommend this app for science lovers.

Simple but sleek UI and a genuinely challenging game come together for an extremely enjoyable experience. The scoring system is fun and is a good way to measure success without getting discouraged. We love puzzle games and havent found a game quite like this before or since.

This game runs exactly as advertised, and its really fun to do in those idle moments. Except its not idle at all, it hurts our brain in the best ways and Ive really enjoyed it.

Its pretty difficult at times, ie, near impossible, but thats cool. We enjoy the challenge.

We like the concept of this as wwell as the simple-to-play interface but not easy-to-win game itself. We only wish the colors and type of shapes were labeled so that the game can be played using voice over. Im blind and have played all this publishers other games so assume this one would be VO accessible too. Thats on us though since it doesnt specify that in the description and this being a visual sort of game whereas the others are solely textual we shouldnve realized. We still wouldnt say its not accessible. All the text can be read, the 2 choices are labeled and even the results of your guesses are fully read by voice over. It detects there being 3 individual spaces which we assume are the shapes, so even though Im not any sort of coder we think this game could be made 100 percent accessible with a little effort. A game called egg formula is made up of different patterned eggs and the publisher labels each pattern differently. Im thinking this game could do something similar so that voice over users could enjoy this game as well. The options out there for replayyablble unique games that both blind and sighted people can play together are extremely limited so we think the publisher would gain a whole group of new players. But Im no programmer with no clue how complicated these changes would be so Im just putting the idea out there. Fun concept though and different from other puzzle games Ive played so we eagerly awake possible future updates.
