Guitar Band: Rock Battle Review
This requires no wi-fi which somehow makes this game even more fun. They could add a few different things like prices and starting cash but overall great game.
Despite the fact that this game is so off brand with celebrities, songs and guitar brand names it is a very fun game to play, Im hoping that Green Day songs will be added one day :3.
The sound keeps crashing for this latest update. Now with better songs (no more sound-a-likes, real ones!!!) so we are hoping this doesnt last. Update – it does look like an attempt was made to fix bugs, but they are not completely gone. A lot of the bugs we see have something to do with the way the advertisements integrate with the game itself, the last one was not getting the reward to be issued after the watching the video. Basically like you hadnt watched it at all, even though you did. The sound or game play crashing in the middle of a song/battle has been cleared up, that is good news!
We paid for the ad removal but there are still ads if we click on the little movie things if we pay to remove ads we want 100% ads removal. Even the option to get extra points. Just give us the extra points also the ads are super long. We have decided within 5 seconds if we will ever play a game. Seems like only the worst games pay to put there ads up. Its like save the king or move the guy up the ladder games. Ads in games are going away so its time to start finding a new way to make money. Sell the songs for $1.00 each or something. Or add a 2nd level of ad removal that gives you the optional rewards you would normally have to watch an ad for. Free to play with ads was bearable for a while but now its time to focus on making great ad free games again. You wouldnt sit at you PlayStation , Xbox etc and have to sit thru ads to play your favorite games.

We would love to see way more songs to choose from. Has been a fun game so far though!
We wish they had Green Day songs or maybe some chili peppers maybe even RATM other than that pretty good app.
We’ve had fun with the new version where theres actual music instead of knockoffs without lyrics. We miss the old variety of music tho and if that could be added back Id feel more obligated to play it. Another thing is that we feel like the drums and bass should be an option and when you play online you can choose to compete on guitar or play with others and you get the win if you get over 80% average or something.
We started playing this game like a week ago and its really cool but it glitches all of the sudden and we lose our score, so yeah, game needs some adjustments.

Too many ads and too long of ads.
We really like this game but alot of the time our sound just cuts out and starts like making a weird noise so we have to restart the game and we lose records and stamina and its super annoying because it happens 2-3 times in a row.
Every time we try to play a song it either goes quiet or it plays the same sound over and over again.
Dude get more songs. Same songs over and over. You pick like from 3 to battle and theyre just various difficulties. Poorly structured.
Real background tracks make this game unique and very sticky. We cant stop playing! It might feel a bit difficult in the first attempt but as you get better the game becomes super fun.
This game is so fun to play we played it and we loved it because the songs could be better like if you added Master Of Puppets or we just havent gotten that far into the game yet, anyways we recommend this game to people who like metal music.
Sometimes when we try to play it glitches out and we cant play or when we load in it wont work but overall its very fun.
When we load in to the game the music will stop and glitch out. And the same thing happens when we try to play a song or when we battle. Can you please fix this problem.
Its a really fun game & we like that they changed it to have real songs. But its been glitching a lot which messes up playing and makes us lose battles & points for things for no reason. Its fun when it works tho.
We have been playing this game for years and we’ve experienced the highs and lows. This latest update is great overall besides a few bugs and bad changes. We love the new songs and theyre all fun to play and on rhythm, but it would be nice to still have the option of playing the old songs also. There are definitely some songs that Ill miss being able to play. We’ve also noticed a lot of bugs with the last update, for example sometimes the sound will randomly quit working and all you can hear is a very loud buzzing until you close the app and restart. Another common bug we’ve been experiencing is that the pedal that is supposed to help you with tough parts in the song by slowing the speed of the song down just doesnt work anymore. The pedal will give you a point boost still, but doesnt slow the song down at all kind of defeating the purpose. Finally our biggest complaint is the size of the note buttons when playing a song are way smaller than they used to be for some reason. Which makes it very easy for the game to not register when you hit them, or just think you hit a different one than what you actually hit. We realize people play on different size devices so in that case please give us the option of adjusting the size. Its very frustrating when Im trying to 100% a song and the tiny little buttons are the reasons why Im missing notes. Overall we think this update is a great step in the right direction but the game is not quite polished enough yet. We hope these issues will be fixed soon because this game still has a lot of potential.
Ever since the update where they show the actual name of the songs there has been a lot more bugs, like the notes in songs freeze, and we dont like how there is less songs than before.
This game reminds us of guitar hero and we enjoy playing when it actually works! But we’ve lost a few battle rounds because the notes dont show up on the screen and no music is playing! Its frustrating that we cant get the full play out of the game. If you can fix that issue Ill upgrade to 5 stars!
Great fun to play, but way too many ad interruptions.
Let us start by saying, we were really debating on putting 4 stars. And this game could easily become a 5 star game. Especially in a gaming world where fans of Guitar Hero & Tap Tap Revenge have been begging for a new game with good music! And this game is fun, and it is addicting, but it is irritating too. Here are the issues/fixes they need: -calibration feature. They need to put in a feature that allows you to calibrate the buttons below. Cause the side buttons (red & yellow) dont read your hits way too often. Ruining streaks constantly. -sound disappears. Occasionally all the sound from the app disappears, or worse, glitches on the same note with a bpm off 1000. And usually when that happens, the song you chose to play, wont play. -More music.
Part of the real charm of this game was the fact that the makers didnt have copyright permission to use real songs so everything from the song title to the melody was changed enough to not risk infringement but still be recognizable. As a musician and a fan of guitar hero, this was our favorite part of this game. But with a recent update, there are real songs now. Can we get the old fake ones back too?
Fun game but our sound doesnt work anymore . It worked at first but then it just stopped working . Even when we updated the app the sound still doesnt work . Disappointed.
DONT BOTHER DOWNLOADING THIS GAME BECAUSE WHEN YOU GET NEAR THE 300 DISCS LEAGUE THEY WILL TROLL YOU BY PUTTING YOU AGAINST SOMEONE WHO IS HIGHER LEVEL THAN YOU AND YOUR BAND ISNT LEVELED UP ENOUGH TO SUCCEED AND THAT IS WHY MY REVIEW FOR THIS DISGRACEFUL GAME IS CALLED NO JUST NO!

We’ve been experiencing an issue lately where everytime we play connected to internet the sound stops working and we have to turn our phone on airplane mode to play, we really love this game and we love that they added actual songs, but with that we feel that there is too little songs and they need to add more variety like the knock off songs they added before this.
They have the correct titles for the songs and artists, must have been a copyright thing, but now we try to play it and it wont work! It counts down and thats it nothing else! Boo.
Game just crashes a lot. Go to battle and theres nothing there you loose your energy. Also the sound goes out and we have to delete the game to get it to come back on. Didnt start until the update.
As a guitar player who is a band, this game is just the perfect game to play, it involves skill and thats what most games are missing nowadays. Our favorite track is Master of Dolls.
Love it the game is really cool reminds us of rock band and Im crazy about rock band sweet game!

This is a game you could play for hours and theres even an offline mode where you could play. Theres plenty to do, even if its trying to get 100% on all the solo levels.
Fun, a lot of ads and it freezes up sometimes but otherwise a fun game.
It isnt the best when it comes to the graphics and the names of the band but its pretty cool that it is a knock off of guitar hero and we kinda enjoy it.
We try to put In friends ID but it doesnt work !! Weve played in the past and recently started playing again but now it doesnt work.

Good music paritys large library If a guitar solo mode was added where its just focuses on the solo in the song all other instruments are lowered down so the solo is heard or a simple crowd mute or audio tuner for each instrument volume Other then us being picky its a fun game.

Download right away if youre as obsessed with guitar hero as we am, when we found this dupe of guitar hero we thought jackpot. It is so well created and all the songs are parodys of real life songs which is cool! Really enjoy this game never deleting.
