A great and faithful port of a classic Arcade/Dreamcast game.
This is great but please add morrigan from darkstalkers because she was on the counsole version.
Amazing game that has been soured by micro transactions. While we are very much pleased to find these few epic Psikyo shmups ported to iOS and free to download, we truly cannot stand the bs micro transactions. We would rather pay for the game ONE time like how DotEmu handled the 2 R-Type games and raiden. We can't really fault the game because it is still a great game, icade controller support would be nice to have as an option imo. And a choice for being able to purchase the game and get rid of the coins and gems garbage.
Games lit should add some new like new skin.
Pop the toro and have a big gulp of a steam punk Shmup.
We think its great that we get to play gun Bird on our break at work. We dont exactly like the way the hearts work but its still a lot of fun.
If the players sprite would track accurately under your finger, this would be a 5 Star game. However the drift is so severe that it makes completing higher levels near impossible. (Played on an iPad).
So many ads. Just going from menu to menu, theres an ad between each screen. Would just like a paid ad-free version.
Would prefer a buy an ad free version.
We unlocked all characters and max upgraded Tavia, Aine, Alucard….only to find out one day it was gone. Screw this.
We played one month and paid crystal but suddenly all our charactor and item disappear.
We love gunbird, so when we found out there was an iOS version of part two, we jumped at it. However the first thing we noticed is the slowed bullet speeds to lull you into a sense of ease. After the third or so area the bullets will actually kill you in a single shot. The music is all stripped out also which really hurts the experience. Lastly you cannot unlock the entire roster feasibly without spending real money. We get that Gunbird at its core is an arcade game but seriously you earned the additional cast by playing the game in the arcade not through micro transactions.
Love the game but got new phone saved files wont load to the one game is connected to fb and gamecenter hope it will get fix soon.
This game is very similar to the strikers series, so if like those give this one a shot.
Don't know how we found this but we're glad we did. This feels so much like an actual arcade shooter. Maybe it was in Japan or something. All we know is that it's awesome! Hopefully we'll be able to unlock a few more characters. Really cool. Thanks Mobirix.

An amazing port of a dear classic, please keep more games like this coming, particularly side strollers and beat 'em up's too.
Big fan of Psikyo games and really fun to play them on mobile. The credits system is kinda wacky and not much like the arcade game this is derived from or the way consoles handle credits. It is used as a way to allow in-app purchases and limits your replays but is otherwise pretty generous. It isn't hard to earn in-game cash and the unlocks encourage better play. If one is unfamiliar with Psikyo shooters they are older arcade shooters low on complexity but rife with animation and details. In addition the Gunbird games like Sengoku have a lot of charm. Levels are short but there are a lot of them. Psikyo games almost always have the same bonus and powerup systems. Modern shmups could learn a lot about presentation and fun from his game. One suggestion to Mobrix: the pixels are really sharpened up on this game compared to your earlier releases like Strikers 1945-2 and -3. Please update those games to be as clear as Gunbird.
We want to like this, we really really do, however, every time we boot up the game all of our saved data is gone and we have to start from scratch. This also means the IAP we bought disappeared… We hope this issue is fixed soon… We're on an iP6S w/iOS 9.3.2.
The app crashes and wont start every time we try to open the app we tried to restart the phone and try again but it still crashes. The facebook login never works we couldnt save the progess either. We tried to uninstall and install it again, but same. Pls fix the bugs.
Is Morrigan a playable character in this? Will change stars once we get answer thank you.
Fantastic for 5 minute of relax or for 1 day of frenetic play.
