We just can’t beat level 6 though can someone help.
Nitrome is officially our fav app developer by far! We love all their games. The nostalgia they infuse into each game is amazing. We’ve lost thousands of hours of our life already. If your looking to buy or download, don’t hesitate. GunBrick is a must.
We love almost all of Nitrome’s games and this is no exception.
The game can be a bit frustrating in the beginning. But Once you figure out the controls, you will realize it’s a well designed action/puzzle game. A good balance of challenging and frustratingly difficult.
The only thing that makes us sad is that we beat the game and we want more levels haha. Fun experience! Can’t wait to hear updates about the game!
This is a great game. It requires some thought, but not too much. The concept, the premise and the aesthetics are really tied together, and the mechanics are good. Super recommended.
First off iv never left a review for anything in our life but since the first App Store games till now this has got to be our favorite game ever on the iOS platform. Literally am satisfied with paying for this app as it reminds us of the old days when gaming wasn’t about shooting aliens in fort person view.
Nice game idea. A little short though with only 3 stages. Took about 3 hours to finish. Maybe more levels in a later update?

The first 2 levels that we’ve been able to play were very delightful and fun. But once we get to the 3rd level our game Crashes, we’ve tried everything that we could think of to be able to continue playing but nothing has worked. Can you please fix it or tell us what we’re doing wrong because we would really like to keep playing. Thanks.
This game is as addicting as anything, but in a great way, not the clash of clans spend your life savings kind of way. However, we need more levels or gunbrick2 give us something…..
We enjoyed playing this game from the moment we started to the moment we beat the third boss Pros: + puzzles are tricky, but possible + Detailed world + simple controls (swipe to move, tap to shoot) Cons: – lags on third boss occasionally – only 36 levels (for now) – Circles.
This a great puzzle/platform game and worth the $3.00 check it out you won’t regret it. Keep it up Nitrome you guys have made awesome games from the beginning.

Gunbrick is a puzzler at heart, as you clonk the titular brick around lively and detailed scenes. One end shoots while the opposite end is a shield, and in there lies the core gameplay loop of trying to make the brick face the direction you want to activate switches, gain lift-off and more. Each stage introduces a new challenge or mechanic, each as inventive as the last. It’s heartening to see Nitrome doing wonderful, creative things in the 2D space. Highly recommended.
Nitrome never fails to make the best games and this is no exception! The gameplay is amazing and the attention to detail and the soundtrack completes this stunning game. Each level is unique and interesting, new objects are introduced throughout to add some difficulty to each level. This game is a must-have for anyone with a mobile device!

Hello there, we’ve been a fan of Nitrome since the original icebreakers on PC and they create great games like this game, it has great controls, also artwork but the reason we gave it 4 stars is because the title screen for the game take too long, and it randomly crashes on the iPad version. But since this game came out today we’re giving them some slack and giving Nitrome 1 star back GREAT GAME SHOULD BUY!
All of Nitrome’s games are stellar. This one really stands out. It’s a clever mix of puzzle/problem solving, action and quick decision making. We seldom make reviews but this definitely is worth every penny. Really hope more level packs are released as DLC (free or pay). This game rules and you will love it.
Honestly, this game could get five stars on the soundtrack alone, but you also get a pretty neat and creative game to play along to the tracks! Very detailed and expressive pixel art in this one. Also, a ton of screenshake. Buy it.
Gunbrick is without a doubt the best game on the iTunes App Store. The gameplay is fantastic and puzzling at times and the soundtrack, oh our god the soundtrack is the best soundtrack we have heard in ages. It sounds like the soundtrack to a somewhat obscure game called toejam and earl. We can’t express how awesome the soundtrack is. Just buy the game. It 100% deserves editors choice. 10/10.
If we could rate this 4.9999999 stars, we would. Why? The game is great and we love it. Just why can’t you make it like icebreakers where there are tons of levels. We beat it in a week. Just hope you guys read this so we can get a little more bang for our buck or three.

We love this game. It seamlessly incorporates great gameplay, controls, platforming, and puzzles in one amazing package. It is one of the few games in recent memory from the AppStore that we don’t regret purchasing.
A fantastic remake of an old online flash game, gun brick is a killer iOS puzzle platformer. Gun brick makes you think, something that can’t be said for most games on the App Store. It’s diverse environments, and constant barrage of new mechanics makes it one of the best titles we have ever played. While the gameplay is challenging, the controls are easy, intuitive, and quick to grasp, which is essential in a game where one false move sets you back to the beginning of a multi-stage puzzle. Some people may complain about difficulty, but really the challenge makes you step away for a while and think about how to solve the task at hand. Our only complaint, if any, is the length. With 3 quick worlds, we burned through the game in under a few days with heavy play. More levels are on the way though thankfully. Oh and it’s gorgeous too, so you should stop reading reviews and just spend the money, you’ll like it.

This is an amazing game, and we have been waiting sometime for it, since the first trailer. The graphics are like an old GBA game, but with retina support, the music fits the goofy feel of the game, and the puzzle mechanics are flawless. This is such a clever game. We haven’t had boss fights that challenging in a long time, and we feel this game was worth much more than the asking price.
This is a great, fun game, with a very unique plot and premiss. The only complaint is that the controls are crap. All though we have beaten the game already, it was very difficult with these controls. If we may suggest, don’t make it a swipe to move, tap to shoot. Often you will try to swipe to move, but it will shoot causing you to fall off of the platform. But instead have a move right button and a move left button both on the lower left side of the screen, and then have a shoot button on the lower right side of the screen. We hope that you take our suggestion in to consideration. Thanks for a great game. And keep up the good work.
Very fun! But it crashes at the 3rd level… We don’t get to play much.
It is a awesome game but the controls are crap we’re still stuck on the level where it teaches you how to use your shield because after we get past a flame we swipe to go to the next one but it shoots and we go backwards and die whenever we swipe it always shoots it’s annoying we are not tapping we’re swiping even if we swipe just like it shows us we shoot please fix other then that it’s awesome.
We did enjoy this game, had to think a couple of times, but was surprised that it ended so quickly – only 3 levels. On the plus side, we did not experience any ‘crashes’ Summed up – descent game.
Awesome platform game. Great graphics. Good controls. Nothing at all wrong with the game other than there’s only three worlds. It was way too short of a game and we feel like we wasted money on it because we beat it in 4 days. If more worlds get added on it would be awesome.

This game is awesome but it crashes after beating the third boss. Hopefully this issue is fixed in the next update.

Just FYI for everyone. The game doesn’t work on the iPad Mini 2. You can’t finish the first level. We tested it on an iPad 2, iPad Air, and our iPhone 5 and it works perfectly on them. We’ll message the developer so hopefully they can fix this issue. The graphics are great in a very nice pixel art style. Great music and sound effects.
Let’s beat Angry Birds with this one guys. It’s totally unique. Just add a ton more levels and a score system for each level and we’ll steam roll over Angry Birds in our gun bricks!
Really enjoying this game so far. The only problem we’ve encountered is the crashes. We have an iPhone 4s, so it’s not the most up to date by any means. Needless to say, that shouldn’t result in inconsistent game crashes. Perhaps a future update could eliminate these?
It is a great GBA-style game with amazing puzzle mechanics but the first boss is hard as crap poop balls of fire. We get the two shots on the panels and then he starts rapid fire spamming it and we can figure out how to beat it… Other than this the game is great! NITROME congrats guys ;)
Excellent game very addictive because has a good concept.. But it lags when we star the app, takes much time to show the menu.. So it needs a fix urgent please, Im using and iphone 4s and have this problem.. Thas our only complain, the rest congrats for this game Im a fan now.. We will change our stars when you fix that problem on iphone 4s.. And please make more levels we need moreeeeeeeee xD.
Game is ok, your simple mechanic of play is all you need for entire game. Be ware of end game glitch which locks and doesnt allow you the credit of beating boss.
