[Getting started] Troop Introduction

Your army is composed of four different types of troops: Infantry, Cavalry, Distance Shooter, and Artillery. They are trained in your Barracks, Stables, Shooting Range, and Artillery Foundry respectively.

Within each troop category there are two different types troops for each kind. The different types of troops have different strengths and characteristics.

Infantry

Your Infantry troops are your foot soldiers. They are divided into Musketeers and Pikemen.

Musketeers have an increased defense against Light Cavalry. Pikemen have an increased defense against Riflemen.

Both act as shields for your other troops because of their high health and defense properties. They should be a priority when training your army.

Cavalry

Your Cavalry troops are your soldiers on horseback. They are divided into Light Cavalry and Heavy Cavalry.

Heavy Cavalry have an increased Attack against Pikemen. Light Cavalry have an increased Attack against Riflemen.

It is worth noting that Cavalry troops have the fastest march speed.

Distance Shooter

Your Distance Shooter troops are able to strike from distance. They are divided into Riflemen and Grenadier.

Riflemen have an increased attack against all Cavalry and Artillery. Grenadiers have an increased attack against Musketeer.

Distance Shooter can also attack troops positioned behind the opponent’s Infantry.

Artillery

Your Artillery troops are your vehicles of war. They are divided into Cannons and Mortar.

Cannons help protect your troops by absorbing the brunt of the opposition Trap Attack. Mortars have an increased attack against Traps.

Due to their size, Artillery troops have the slowest marching speed, but can also carry the largest resource load.
