Everything that Sabres gets right this novel doubles down on and it works in the favor immensely. Everything that is needed in an expansion into a series is here, expansion of the world, more and better characters, an explanation on the players characters current status and currently growing renown or infamy. To say the least this is an absolutely brilliant novel that will intrigue anyone even remotely interested in such interactive novels.
Its not very often that a game makes us cry, but this one did. We felt so attached to the men under our command that our reactions to their hardships were very visceral. We are very much looking forward to the continuation of this amazing story.
Superb details, great choices, enough chances to level up character skills, great battle scenarios also. However we have bought Sabres of Infinity and Guns of infinity now Im just waiting for Lords of infinity .
This game is awesome but please make lords of infinity soon Im dieing to play it.
Amazing story. Buy it now. Buy Sabres if you havent played it. Paul Cataphract Wang is honestly one of the best authors of young adult CYOA fiction out there. We’ve probably spent too much money on bad CYOA. This is not one of those purchases. In retrospect Id be happy to pay more. If you havent checked out the lore on his website or become a patron of his on Patreon… Well you should. Hope this helps any prospective buyers.
Everything is good about it but we do suggest anyone who wants this one should read sabers of infinity first you will understand the story more the story is very very addicting and we admire the detail that the author put into this including the military rank structure this has inspired us to learn more about different military ranks we look forward for the next book it’ll probably be just as amazing if more than this one.
This choice novel is a testament to its writers. Having immersed us not only in the story, but in the triumphs and failures of our character. May we be blessed with a third choice game half as good as the previous ones have been.
When we got this game it was mostly cause we read the first one and wanted to continue the story of our officer and was expecting it to be about as good as the first but what we got was an immense story that blew away the first one, not that the first one was bad in any way just that this one was so great that we were surprised. The only thing in our opinion that we didn’t care for was that if you choose the learn the Antari language and study it, it doesn’t have any real effect in this game although we’re sure it will end up paying off in the 3rd installment. We can’t wait for the 3rd one and request that anyone who has read the first one to go ahead and buy this one as well… You will not be sorry.
Just as good maybe even better then swords of infinity, the best that is offered by hosted games to date can barely wait for the next sequel.
This book has lived up to almost every expectation we could have had. Replayability, detail, lore, it’s incredible.
This series has diverged from the other choice of games in an amazing way. Instead of forcing you into a world where every other character is gay/Bi/trans and pushing you into interactions with them, you are free to choose your own path and speak openly. That sort of thing isn’t for everyone. We need a game like this every now and again. Very story driven and highly addictive. Greatest interactive novel we have EVER played. Praying they don’t stray from this style of storytelling.
The most well-written of the choose your own adventure games we have played. Ranks at the top, alongside "Way Walkers," for games we have replayed over and over just to see the alternative outcomes and abilities. We don’t often feel compelled to write reviews, so that should be an endorsement in itself. If you like the genre give this and "Sabres" a try.

We have been waiting for this sequel for over a year now, and we must say it does not disappoint. Very well written as the first part. Anyone who hasn’t played Sabres of infinity should give it a try. And then come back and buy this one.
Guns of Infinity is an improvement compared to its already-fantastic prequel. The choices the player makes can have huge effects on the story their character goes through. This series is a very enjoyable work of fiction and we can’t wait for the rest to come out.
Great sequel to Soldier of infinity. Recommend for those looking to immerse in a deep lore and dilemma.

Good writing, meticulously detailed fantasy world, plus a dash of Horatio Hornblower style Napoleonic combat. What’s not to love? Play Sabres of Infinity first; the character is exportable to this one.
This is a classic and engrossing story. It could use more character development, ability to improve skills, and ability to enhance character relationships that will matter over time. The depth and breadth of the story alone deserve 5 stars however. We (not our character) finished this series as a grizzled veteran returning home to a world that I’d feared that we’ll no longer understand. We wish to say also that this story didn’t get side tracked like so many of the newer COG games now with gay transgender activism. The activism has really ruined the genre and we’ve stopped buying new games. We appreciated that we were allowed to be a boy who liked girls, without our character constantly hitting on and being hit on by men. Once we have made it clear that we don’t want to do gay stuff, the story should not keep trying to get us to do gay stuff against our will.
Sabers of Infinity was our favorite hosted/choice game and it’s sequel is amazing and has surpassed Sabers as our current favorite. Can’t wait for the third installment.
This game seriously puts you in the shoes of your character, and also puts you right in the battles you fight. We cannot wait until the third one is released!
We cannot praise this game enough. This game pulled us into the genre, and is the Infinity series is the only one to hold our interest. Even the other works of Paul Wang pale in comparison to this. A gripping world, interesting NPCs, and plenty of moral dilemmas had us playing this for near three days trying to get the perfect outcome. We bought Sabers of Infinity because of this, and Lords of Infinity is right by TES VI in terms of awaited sequels. Fantastic.
This was an amazing adventure from beginning to end. We thoroughly enjoyed it in its entirety. We simply cannot wait for Lords of Infinity. Amazing amazing job guys. Bravo.
This game is so amazing. Words so hard to describe the creativity and dedication they put into this story game. It’s more then just a game. It opens your mind to your imagination. Every choice counts in this game is it is just absolutely amazing. This is a story driven game you would want to get. Every dollar was worth it. Just can’t wait for the next part to this amazing trilogy.

We honestly thought it would be impossible to make this a better novel then sabers of infinity, but we were proven wrong. It actually made us think, and all the choices had real different outcomes, with their rewards and consequences. This is the only Hosted/Choice Of Games game that deserves 100% five-star ratings. We expect the next book to be even better! Also love the lore to all this.
We’ve read many books such as, The Hobbit, Homers Iliad and many more… This game surpasses any others that are in the asp store! We cannot wait for the 3rd book!!!! AMAZING!
Enjoyed the characters, great story line and setting. All around great game. -2 stars for not clarifying in the description that any romances have to be straight!!! We would much rather prefer to be aware of this going into the game!
