We love these games! We played this game before and paid for it! But every time we go to restore purchase it does not work it just circles ! Im so frustrated Im not going to pay 6.99 for a game we already paid for.. Fix this problem. This been going on to much with these games ridiculous.
Definitely worth the price: possibly the longest gameplay of any hidden object game we’ve ever bought.
This game is fabulous, from the graphics to music. The storyline is well written and it keeps you in suspense. The only problem we have with it is you have to put real money and buy the rest of the game. That is why we gave it 4 stars. Uninstalled.
We had the same glitch as reported regarding the expander and window. Really frustrating when youve paid for the game and cant play it. Otherwise a really fun game.
We have enjoyed the game, but the expander for the window does not work! We’ve tried everything and nothing helps. We are irritated that we cant go beyond the expander! Fix this!
This game is beautiful, interesting and very Halloweeny! It is so disappointing to have such a great game tarnished by glitches. We are all for trying to figure out what the puzzle is and all of the challenges, but when the mechanics dont work leaving the puzzle useless, it is frustrating and disappointing. 2 glitches in particular (the expander in level 4 and the gears in the bonus level) do not work. Even verifying on you tube with walkthrough videos confirms the game is not working right. We had to reset and start over in order to use the expander, but we really dont want to have to reset the bonus level. Worse yet, these ars glitches that have been reported for 2 years! Developer responds by saying they will fix, but clearly have not. You can make this game super by fixing these glitches!!
This game doesnt work. Freezes. Screen goes dark. Thankfully we didnt opt to unlock and pay in the beginning.
At the beginning of the second part of this game, you pull the lever and then place the gears to pull up the chandelier. Well, its not letting us put any gears into place. Please fix!
The game was great until the very end when it would not recognize that we had picked up the third skull and therefor would not let us place them. There is no way to proceed, which is unfortunate as we were really enjoying it.
Seems you can touch on areas that are correct without the game responding. The areas we check are then highlighted with the hint.
This has the worst UI in any App Store game, we purchased the collectors edition but we couldnt share with our family on other iPads. It clearly says that this app has family sharing enabled but nothing works. This is a cheap cash-grab buggy mess. NOT RECOMMENDED, DONT WASTE MONEY TIME AND SANITY ON THIS WORTHLESS GAME.
Im enjoying this game so far, but we did find one consistent issue. When we opt to play match-3 in any of the HO scenes, as soon as we match and thus clear the last of the highlighted boxes (removing the last object from the list at the bottom), the game suddenly freezes. We have to close out the game and it always restarts back at the beginning of the HO scene and we have to replay it. This happens every time we try to complete any HO scene in match-3 mode, regardless of which point Im at in the game. HOWEVER, we can play match-3 and the game will NOT freeze as long as we do not complete it with match-3. So, we can play match-3 right up to only one highlighted box (and one object on the list) still remaining and as long as we switch back to the finding objects mode before completing the scene it will not freeze. The problem is only when COMPLETING a HO scene in match-3 mode. Hopefully our attempt at explaining this made sense. No issues other than just that one and it hasnt prevented us from enjoying the game at all. Just figured you might want to be aware of the glitch.
Im vision impaired so the zoom function on hidden objects doesnt work. The developer doesnt always appropriate pronouns. They should have an editor check the text. Sometimes it hangs and we have to renter the game. After buying it, we never finished it. Most of this developers games we enjoy, but was disappointed in this one enough we didnt finish it.
We paid $6.99 for this game and was done within an hour. Didnt have any problems with the game. But after playing EVERY game that dominigames has put out, we paid for this one and was highly disappointed that we spent $7 for an hour of a game. Wont make that mistake again.
Was fun and semi challenging until you drive to next screen and then no pay, no play. It acts like you play to open the level but that is not possible. Disappointing.

The game keeps locking him up after the first object search/ match 3. We are unable to move forward even after exiting the game. It makes us redo the o match three… Then the screen freezes.
We loved everything about this game. We only had one glitch, we couldnt place the expander no matter where we placed it. We finally had to use a hint and placed it outside of the area showing. Other than that it was great!
Challenging puzzles, great graphics, collectibles make sense with the story line. We love that its just scary enough without being gory. Love Love Love.
We seriously love hidden object games but these ones with varied game times within the game all backed by intriguing stories are simply perfection! We can never get enough!
Dominis next release will be Mystery Tales: Dealers Choice and should be released on November 12th. We said should! You know theres a possibility it will be held up. Also Domini is aware of the quality assurance issues and technical problems and are hoping to have them under control by the start of the new year. November 14th Artifex Mundi will release Ghost Files 2, and Elephant just released a new game called Halloween Stories: Horror Movie. Thank you to the Domini team for your condolences! Im keeping this review brief. The game was entertaining and the graphics were excellent, except for that pervasive overlay of green. Missemericanpie, they certainly werent pixelated and you need to get a dictionary to understand the word. You missed out on a wonderful game! There were some innovative HO scenes, and a few new puzzles. We didnt experience any touch screen sensitivity issues, and felt that the quality assurance was way better than in the last few games. We did notice a mistake in the bonus chapter. The first mini-game had the wrong instructions! We couldnt manipulate the gears but that was the only issue we found problematic. The game had interesting inventory usage and a plethora of tasks at each location. As per Domini, it was a decent length! Our true rating will be 4.5 stars. We deducted the half star due to the mistake in the bonus chapter. The beta testers should have caught it. Happy gaming, everyone! Over the next 5 days we have 3 new games, so enjoy it because that situation rarely occurs. We can hope that 4FRIENDS releases another game soon, as they promised.
Although the game was enjoyable the touch sensitivity was terrible. Needs an update.
Too expensive for us.. Very pixelative slow and not worth our money sad that these games went away but will not pay as they are not worth it our opinion good luck.
