We bought this game several years ago and it is our favorite Halloween game! However when we download the game we can no longer play it because it seems to be corrupted now. The game is awesome but needs an update to fix it the graphics are messed up.
Main game+bonus game made it a full game, that means that the main game was very short. Not acceptable for full price, but ok for discounted price.
One of the best games we have played. You had the opportunity to stay in a select set of rooms instead of being all over the place and not knowing where to go. Easy enough to have fun except the puzzles were challenging. Hope we can find more games like this one. Love the spooky theme.
It is kinda hard and terrifying at first but once you get used to it.it is so much more terrifying and kinda easier if your looking 1 of the best Halloween games step right up and get this awesome FREE game.

This game has all the elements that we like about hidden object mystery adventure games, the sound effects are delightful and the place is perfect. We are enjoying it tremendously as we recover from surgery, so the perfect pacing is very relaxing and it has all the familiar hallmarks of the best hidden object games. So far it seems to be free but either way we think it is the best game Ive played in a long time we dont like those frilly flowery overladen games that are so full of too many things to look at, we like this it has just the right amount of visuals and everything is set to an enjoyable level. Definitely a good game to try for a relaxing and fun time.
So far we like the game.The scenes are colorful and lots of pumpkins.It looks very Halloween like.we use the hint button a lot,so glad its here.We will see what its like as we go on,hope its great.
This ones fun. Lots of jump scares, but nothing gory or dreadful. Lots of mini games nice graphics. Plenty of extras to look for along the way. Nothing startlingly original, but sufficiently clever to keep you playing. Also on sale at least when we bought it.
Just started playing this game (2minutes) and already they want us purchase it! We dont think so.
We were delighted with this game. No issues using inventory, worked immediately. The story was interesting, the scenery and music very good and the puzzles and hob were fun, not over-tedious. Definitely hope to find more like this.
We really enjoyed this game…even if off season, and glad we gave it a try…great graphics, unique game and play…fun fun and entertaining game and long we thought ..only one gripe….the skip button is too easy to hit by mistake..happened a few times with games we were not finished with…oh well…still loved this game! Give it a try , An Elephant Game, right.?,,always like them.
Love this game! We are an avid hidden object gamer and Halloween fan so this rocked our boat. Creative and different, great graphics and so well thought out. Wish it was longer but hoping for another one! Thanks for a different and fun theme. Would buy again.
Enjoyed this game, even though Halloween time would have been more appropriate. We experienced a lot of blurry graphics in the trial and the beginning of the game. The good news is that it got better as we progressed. No glitches yeah! Fun hidden object scenes and puzzles. Collectibles and morphing objects to find. Storyline had suspense and scare factor which was well done. Not a very lengthy game though, even with the bonus chapter. We didnt continually keep playing as we wasnt sure if we would get another New Release & we wanted to make it last. More Good News – Weve gotten another New Game So Hopefully they will keep coming!!!!! Thank You Big Happy Gaming Everyone – Be sure and pick this one up!!! KdBoots.

We really liked the game, it was very colorful and the graphics crisp and easy to see. It would have been nice to have it on Halloween. Also, it was rather short. We.
We absolutely loved this game! The graphics and story line were great. GREAT JOB! Best Ive seen in a while! That being said, the game itself, was way to short. Even the Bonus Game was disappointing. Would have liked to have had the chance to go back and finish finding collectibles. Keep up the good work, but please make the next game longer. Over priced for length only.

Great game! Love the story & the graphics are very cool…very real looking! Obsessed with Halloween & Christmas games! More please! But would be great if not quite so expensive..Im a senior citizen & on a strict budget so have to save up for games or hope ones we love will go on sale. Realize its probably expensive to make these games but still would be nice if perhaps games could maybe be $4.99 & not $6.99….makes a big difference! May have to stop playing before long but will enjoy while we can & maybe catch some when on sale! Thanks.
Usually the length of the game is one of our main reasons for buying/liking a game. But this was on sale, and we love Halloween stories, so we decided to give it a go. It certainly wasnt long, but we also didnt feel it was that short. Probably because going into it we were expecting it to be so short, that maybe we were pleasantly surprised lol. So thanks to everyone who said how short it was, made it better for us. Lots of creepy cool effects, which we love. Not gory, just creepy. Also regarding length; if you dont skip mini-games, which we dont, there were two that by their very nature took a long time to complete. So we guess if you skipped those, then it would be tangibly shorter. Also after playing, there is a secret room that you receive an achievement for completing. It is a rehash of 12 mini games and we think 14 hos. You play those with no hints or skips and earn the achievement. That also adds a lot to the game. So if you love Halloween like we do, give it a try on sale and we think youll be happy.
Short story but great game with bonus.
It remains a mystery as to why this game was released now, rather than at Halloween, leaving us to wonder if BigFish has nothing else to offer us. However, the sale on this game ends in a couple of days, leaving us hopeful that we will be receiving a new game on Monday. Notice that we said hopeful, not positive or absolutely sure! Note to Dracyy: we know you hate spiders, so kudos to you for playing! Note to KimTwilight: we know you are tired of waiting on new games in the HOAG genre. We played a game called Forgotten Places: Regained Castle, which we found by accident. It was developed by Sungift (never heard of them) and was a bit dated (HO scenes were only word lists, no complex items, zoom zones didnt automatically close out) but it had a lot of good features as well (customization of settings, marked teleport map, zoom in all scenes including zoom in map, lengthy, great graphics) and was only $4.99 at full price. There was a decent variety of puzzles/games and gameplay was very smooth. It was worth playing and it was more than double the length of this game although it had no bonus adventure. There was a free trial on it as well. We think you would like it, our friend! On to this game. Horror is not our favorite genre, but we play every game by Elephant Games because we enjoy their style of gameplay. We were given the usual perks. You could customize settings. Objectives were regularly updated and the storyline was easy to follow. The graphics were terrific and evoked a frightening ambience. For those of you who are skittish, there were many jump scares. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations. Collectibles included morphing objects, picture fragments and creepy figurines, and the map indicated whether fragments were still available for collection. There werent a ton of locations but there was a plethora of tasks at each location. The HO scenes had some variation, but there was nothing extremely original or phenomenal about them. We didnt like the selection of puzzles/games because they were either extremely simplistic or of the boring rotational type which we absolutely detest. Why cant we have labyrinths and mazes and codes and potions and painting? We love games that give us this type of variety (we see this from Domini, and hope we get a game from them soon)! The game ran very smoothly, as Elephant generally provides excellent quality assurance. Our rating will remain at 4 stars. We deducted a star for length and for the boring puzzles/games. This was still a good solid game, although it was a joke to get it in the spring! We should hopefully get a new game from Artifex Mundi in the next couple of weeks and we wish we knew when the sequel to Legacy (Five BN Uk) was due out. Izzy, you always know which games are up for release, but where are you? We miss you and need you! Happy gaming to all.
Only 4 stars because after completing the Bonus game, you cant go back and find missing collectibles and puzzle pieces. You can do this in Eipex games. Also, please make the Hint and Skip buttons refresh faster. Otherwise, we really enjoyed playing this game.
We like the game but it is in blocks and blacks out please fix it.
And it started out good – decent premise and okay puzzles and objectives – but just got ridiculously easy and no fun towards the end. Which came way too soon – this game was short. So we got suckered into paying for the game because the beginning was good and then it didnt deliver. The bonus chapter – we got most of the way through and then a glitch wouldnt let us finish. Dont pay full price for this game. Wait until its on sale.
All of the cut scenes are SUPER blurry! It is so bad that we had to skip the cut scenes and Im on our iPhone 6 so its not even a super old phone. We hate that you cant go back and get the collectibles either. Very annoying.
Warning: If you have a fear of spiders, do know that they will often appear. The "from-left-field" arrival of this holiday-themed game which is mostly a trick or a late April Fool's joke, with a few treats thrown in to sweeten up the gameplay took us by complete surprise. From the get go, the ambiance is wholly out of place for this time of year, as Spring is upon us, with the flowers and trees blooming in full force throughout some parts of the country. That said, there are some favorable aspects that do successfully complement the Halloween-ish theme. The storyline should be interesting enough to please those fans of hard-core horror, as it channels a dreadful, yet not violent, vibe. The production lives up to our expectations of becoming immersed within the environment. An uncanny atmosphere is established right from the beginning. The eerie background noises such as the rapid heartbeat of panicky victims, the gargling of pumpkins with hideously carved faces, and the creaking of the wooden floor boards enhance the sense of trepidation we feel as we explore the dilapidated mansion. The spooky visuals are splendidly saturated with thematic embellishments: the macabre puppets/dolls, with gruesomely painted faces and sharp teeth; the giant creepy-crawling spiders; and the menacing, floating ghouls. The assorted HOSs are artistically rendered to suit the storyline, with occasional animations intended to jolt your nerves, as demonstrated by the hideous-looking doll that pops out of a jack-in-the-box. The varied puzzles are thematically integrated into the storyline; they are mostly easy to solve, although a few took some time to work out. The collectibles are a few, and they can blend into the shadowy backdrop. Pay attention to the close-ups as well. Besides the untimely release of this game, there are some other drawbacks that devalue our rating. Where was the free trial? You need to decide whether or not to buy the game based upon three or four scenes that offer about 10 minutes of playing time. Since we have been experiencing hidden-object withdrawal for the last two weeks due to limited releases, we did succumb to our cravings; and hence we purchased the game. Transition is smooth, and the mechanics are glitch free. But the gameplay, however, not only fails to present much of a challenge, it also fails to incorporate innovational qualities. And, the total playtime is ridiculously short. Therefore, our final rating is 3 stars.
The game was good- if it had been released in October it would have been appropriate. Extremely short and even on sale its overpriced considering how short it is. Seriously you guys can do better than this.
There is something wrong with the game, when it loads for us, any menu screen is full of boxes that cover the whole picture in spots and white out text and you cant read anything. Same once you actually start the game. Its not playable. Maybe its too old of a game for our newer iPad.
Was enjoying playing this game when we got it for our IPad, we had a up date on our IPad and after we up dated it, couldn't play any more, the game was so mess up couldn't make out anything, we redown loaded the game but still can not make it out.
We cant see anything. We already tried reinstalling it. Oh well.
There are colored squares that keep blocking the gameplay which is very hard for us to see whats going on.
When we first downloaded the game the demo part was fine but as soon as we bought the rest of the game we cant really see anything. Some parts were you need to collect things its all white and cant see anything at all. We took the app off our phone and put it back on thinking it would fix the problem but it didnt its worse. Even the demo part is now messed up and you cant really see anything.
This is a fun game, but it has its drawbacks. Firstly, it is incredibly difficult and frustrating to play on our phone. Some of the things we have to click on are so small, and the area of select so precise, that we have trouble manipulating objects and picking them up. Secondly, some of the mini games are really confusing, and we end up skipping them because Im not sure what Im supposed to do. We got this game to find out if the Hidden Object games of Big Fish that we love so much are playable on our phone, and we found out. We wouldve been better off buying the desktop version, if there is one.
Worst game Ive ever purchased.
This is one of those with the glitch all through the game of everything being in layered multiple white squares. That is not design, its glitching because it hasnt been updated in a very long time.
Yet another one with the white bars all through it. Can't see to play. We're so sick of these defective useless videos! We would NEVER buy another game sight unseen again. Why can't you fix this? There are close to twenty of these junk titles. D you just not want to be bothered.
On apple 12 pro there are squares on top of squares. Cannot play.
Something is wrong with this game. The very first scene which requires our input (not the cutscene) is nothing but a bunch of white squares. Ive noticed another reviewer mentioned this 2 years ago. Thats more than enough time to address such an issue. We are playing on an iPad on which this game is supposedly compatible.
The graphics were a mess. Big patches of messed up colors.
We just downloaded the game the cutscenes are beautiful but the actual gameplay is so glitchy we cant see anything.

We had to uninstall the game since the game was rendering a bunch of white squares (best way to describe the view) overlaying one another on top of the game, we couldnt see anything.
Whats the point of playing a game thats got white boxes mixed with some colors and you got to touch the screen You have no idea what youre touching until something pops up and sometimes the white box you got to touch the white box before something else pops up. This game is stupid its nothing but shapes with colors mostly just white squares. Whats the point of this game touch the screen and see what pops up because you cant see crap! This is the worst game SERIOUSLY.
Game doesnt load right. Its all distorted. Third game now that did that. Very disappointing. Glad we tried them first before buying. Happens too often. Sad cause it looked like a fun one. Not giving any stars but had to put one to add review we give it a – star.
As soon as we downloaded the game the color and the people on it looked like blobs and it was all white so we deleted it.
Game is messed up. Only shows white screen when trying to locate objects.
