We are amazed at the special effect during the game and excellent graphics. Storyline is captivating. Great game.

Its okay game . It remember us of a movie.

Lot’s of spook factor to this game, which we found to be Extremely Enjoyable and hard to put down. Quite a mysterious storyline, with intense graphics, hidden object scenes were of lists, shapes and pairs – nice variety! Puzzles were fun and at times challenging. Morphing & collectibles to find, as well as a teleporting map. We also was Very impressed with the Bonus content, and how it really tied the storyline together. We think that we will see a sequel on this one – we hope so. Developers did an outstanding job in creating this game and we recommend purchasing it. The only thing is that we would have liked to see it be longer – rather short in length. Looking forward to our next release – Games and more games!!!! Happy Gaming Everyone! KdBoots.

Although we enjoy playing most of the games from Big Fish , we enjoyed this one enough to leave a great review It has all the bells and whistles; teleporting map, great story, great length, labeled items (when you tap them), fabulous graphics of course. Just an all out great game. And as for being dark, please…. NOT DARK! FUN!

We have done many of this and this was the best, not to easy and good length.

For once it makes a difference in the game on which fear you choose at least!!! We started to profiles just to check it out once in darkness once with spiders and we will try another one with the pain and we have already noticed a couple differences!!! Get this game! Its awesome!!! (yes we bought it!) we havent bought the game… Yet :) we have all the other haunted hotels (except for Phoenix because it seemed kind of boring and not too scary) we really like these games and they normally get better (although we didnt care for the 13th) This one seems like a real scary haunted hotel, and we will be purchasing just based on the free trial! If you like scary games you should definitely try this one! For Devs Just based on the free trial we love the pop up scares, its one of the great things we loved about silent waters besides the story itself. Please make more like this its a haunted hotel they should be scary! Thx for the great game! Ps: seems a bit short but we can deal… For now ;) plz make them longer! ALSO Thank you putting the back arrow! Its a lot easier to turn around in certain scenes (like mazes)

We have played games where the refresh rate is 5 seconds. We would also like to know what objects to locate in each scene. Will definitely purchase another game in this series.

We like the game but you cant really see what your doing because its not the same color and you were able to see what was going on.

Time to face your worst fears, everyone! We now know ours is named musaphobia (fear of rats) although there were other phobias in the game that we probably have as well. However, we chose to overcome fear and play this thrill ride of a game. You could customize settings. The graphics were very frightening but at times also hauntingly beautiful. Collectibles included morphing objects, puzzle pieces, and phobia artifacts. There was no cohesive journal but objectives were regularly updated. There was an excellent teleport map to transport you instantaneously between locations. Inventory was labeled and there were complex items to assemble. The HO scenes had variety, but none were extremely unusual. There was a decent selection of puzzles and games. At each location there were quite a few tasks to accomplish, and inventory usage made sense. This game flowed well and ran very smoothly; we did not encounter any glitches. However, this game was quite short even inclusive of the bonus adventure. Although scary at times, this game was entertaining and enjoyable to play. We are deducting a star for length. Considering that we are now paying more for games, we should be getting more gameplay as well. Elephant does a terrific job and gives us an addictive game, but their games have been getting shorter each time. We would suggest you buy this game while its on sale, because it is way too brief to pay full price. Happy gaming to everyone! Note to KimTwilight: we knew this was going to be a short game and we were really unsure if we wanted to buy it, but your review convinced us that it would be a great game. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy a terrific game and also to face our fears! We are NOT a coward after all.

This was a great game in all the usual ways that other reviewers have mentioned, however we must give it 4.5 because the game was short compared to other games in the series and to other great Elephant Games as well. Other than that it was a good game!

After several consecutive disappointing installments in this series, a daunting and spine-tingling thriller arrives to deliver an intoxicating horror-themed adventure filled with frightfulness and suspense. The storyline is not a novelty; however, the artistry and design of the illustrations overshadow that shortfall by successfully bringing the player into a nightmarish world where giant spiders and slithering centipedes await your presence. The ambiance is alarmingly dreadful, as we make our way around a remotely situated hotel, surrounded by a densely wooded landscape, which springs to life with tree creatures that portray human-like faces and yellow-piercing eyes. The only source of light is the moon’s shine, barely peeping through the thick choking branches that twist in every direction. We are overcome by a deep sense of trepidation while gazing upon disturbing images, such as the creepy human-sized puppets in the toy store. The spooky special effects, such as ghastly apparitions flying at people, create an authentic terrifying experience. The quality of the graphics is adequate; however, the details could be sharpened up a bit. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. In custom mode, the teleport map facilitates brisk travel to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. The HOSs demonstrate variation, and they advance the storyline by including snippets of informative reading materials. Additionally, they implement puzzle-like elements, such as concocting a glue recipe. The creativity of the scene in Katie’s room is noteworthy. The puzzles are thematic, and their solutions will help you reach your goals. We love the one in which you ride the horse in the forest, trying to escape from Headless. The collectibles are well camouflaged within the background; pay attention to the close-ups as well. Considering the brevity of the free trial, we were persuaded to buy the game to find out what macabre surprises might startle us next. There are a multitude of tasks to perform in each scene, so you will be constantly kept on your toes. Gameplay does not offer any exciting twists, but the supporting components blend together cohesively to set forth a well-rounded package. We did experience one trivial glitch in the main game; the game froze up, causing us to reboot, which rectified the problem. Even with the steady back and forth between locations, this is a short game. We rate this game 4 stars, deducting one star for the length.

We would have rated higher but there are no options to change players, when you ask to play again the achievements and morphing object counts don’t reset. Some of the mini games give very poor instruction. It was fun but not very frightening .

But 6.99 is just too much considering the game Is over once u solve it?? We were buying the games when they were 2.99 even though we never pay for app but they are a lot of fun but 7 bucks is crazzzzzzzy!! We would give u 5 stars if it werent for that!!

Thank you SO MUCH Elephant games, for ruining one of our favorite series. Yes, you brought back the creepy cool factor that was missing in Phoenix, but honestly both were an embarrassment to this series. This one in particular was embarrassingly short, like how can you even call it a full game? And we dont use hints or skips, so theoretically that should add to the length, but no. And it is amazingly lazy that pretty much the entire gameplay consists of: find amulet, place amulet, open box, repeat. Soooo boring. We want puzzles we have to think about at least a little bit, and you keep reducing the amount of scenes. We think this one was 22? Which if there was a ton to do in each scene then fine, but you have less per scene than an average HOPA. We have stuck by this series, but the last three have been so bad and Im through.

While we enjoyed the opening: a knife hurling towards us at a high rate of speed… LOL.. Leaving us with fairly high hopes for the remainder of the game… We were soon left disappointed. The overall game itself is rudimentary at best. If you enjoy busying yourself by item tasking, (you’ll get your fill) the most simplistic HOP/Puzzles, consider the slow pace of navigating a horse through carefully placed boulders fun- this may be perfect for you. Its yet another dark concept game with adults themes, that caters to a much younger group. It doesn’t challenge your skills, or offer any complex puzzles. Such a waste of outstanding graphics, realistic scenery and potential. Bottom Line: It’s flimsy addition to the HAUNTED Series. S.F.

We have a glitch that puts white squares over most of the screen whenever we open the app. Makes it very hard to play. We opened it on two different device and the same thing happened so its gotta be the game itself.

We have a new iPad Pro and this game keeps locking up over and over again. We like the game but this needs to be addressed.

Active scenes are seen as overlapping rectangles filled and outlined in different colors. 5-6-2021. Dont bother downloading until youve seen thats its been updated.

Not normal viewing, just white squares. Disgusting.

What are all those white splotches squares and lines? Cannot play the game if the screen is all messed up. Deleting…

We feel we wasted our money on this game, is not playable and the search objects stay all white and doesnt show images like walkthrough.

We bought this before playing the free trial. Mistake! Cant get past the opening with the boxes on the picture. We know what Im supposed to get, but cant get anything to work. One time out four we got the cane. Then we tried to get the link and it didnt appear in our inventory. We removed and reinstalled. Still nothing.

Once the game goes thru the story, we cant do anything else. The images are all disjointed. When we click on the tiny pic of the door, a blank screen pops up. We can hear the sounds, but cant see anything!

We have a 3 month old iPad and the latest iOS. Im having the same weird box problem others are having. It looks like it started back in October. (The first bad review we could find regarding this issue.) we paid full price and didnt pay attention to the bad reviews. Its not playable. Fix it, or refund our money.

We cant even start the game. As soon as you get thru the intro story, the first interactive screen is completely glitched and you cant see anything clearly to proceed.

Yet another game that wont work properly. It had the click boxes and you can not see to play. Even better is that we purchased this game (and MANY others) a couple years back with the expectation of pay once and play forever, and clearly not. We’ve been a Big Fish fan since they only had computer games and we’ve almost reached our limit. Update your games! Im not wasting another penny on a game we wont be able to play even a year from now. Also, quit making games you know full well are not working for iPad your game of the week. And maybe change your purchase slogan to pay once and hope you like it because its probably the only time its going to workand we dont care. Now we need to find another place to find games.

Something is wrong with the display – many blank/white boxes where there should be active game pieces. Cant see items and things go missing. Dont bother downloading until updated.

We’re not able to play this game at all. It’s just white squares and sound. We actually paid for the game so how is it possible to get a refund? Ridiculous.

You guys need to refund us for multiple games. None of them work. The graphics are all messed up. No one buy this game or any others.

Doesnt work on iPad. Shows as a bunch of squares on the screen.

The game keeps downloading all jumbled up! We cant play it because it looks like a bunch of puzzle pieces… What do we do about that??

Downloaded and paid for the game based on the reviews and it doesnt work! The first screen is all disjointed and only shows parts. Very disappointed and Ill be asking for a refund.

We were hoping for more than a few hours distraction, but alas, too short.

We paid full price for this game and you cant see the game. It was whited out and you couldnt play! We saw another another reviewer had the same problem. We feel cheated.

The intro is fine, but when we got the newspaper and tried the door, all we get is a white square with a border but no image of something that used to have a ring in its mouth Theres no lighter to use etc. Please fix/update so the game is playable. Thanks.

We play on our iPad this game is blocky and washed out cant see anything on game.

Doesnt work after we upgraded our iPad.

… The white structures making play impossible. Deleted.

We cant see anything on the screen, bright patches scattered around making it impossible to play.

Another Elephant Games that has not been updated. You will find the game has those awful white rectangles. They wont update the game. This is the 5th game we’ve encounter from Big Fish that is full of glitches and no one takes responsibility to update the games for their customers. If you buy the game, you also wont get your money back. Big Fish doesnt check out their games to be sure they work and are not full of glitches.

Does not work on newer IPAD.. The game screens are not there. Cant search the scenes to interact. We see there was a complaint 1 year ago. Hopefully we will get our money back from Apple.

Zero stars actually, this is the second time we bought one of these games that does nothing but show triangles. Squares you name it! Wont buy another, not like money will magically appear in our account!

The pic on the game is very glitchy.

We wouldve loved the game but we could not play it we paid $6.99 and would like our money back. We were like it was big white squares and we couldnt see anything.

Intro is fine but unable to enter hotel or clear screen.

We have deleted and reloaded this app and it still wont work. We want our money back.

Wished we read the more recent reviews. Like everybody else, we cannot play the game. It is seriously glitched. We get white squares that are seemingly blank. There is something there, but it cannot be seen. The first chapter is laden with flashing white squares. The inventory bar is glitched – does not reflect the items we’ve managed to collect. Fix it!

A bunch of white squares cant see anything we have a brand new iPad and wanted to play this game but we cant even see anything to play the game but a bunch of white squares the intro video works but when its time to actually play the game you cant because you cant see anything is there a fix ?
