We really appreciate that its a fair premium price with no ads or IAP, and that the developer has kept it updated for over a decade. We applaud developers who do it all right like this. So rare nowadays. We found it randomly, so glad we did. The file size is small. Its good on battery, and everything is very smooth. And we like the different modes giving you different choices how to play. So if all you have time for is a super quick game, you can do that, but if you want something slower and relaxing theres that too. Its more challenging than we thought it would be, but its doable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this game. Thank you developer.
A great workout for your brain. It actually feels like Im using parts of our brain that havent been used yet lol definitely a great game and absolutely worth the $3 charge.

We enjoy word-speeding. We have been using this for a good two years. Kind of bummed that they reset our numbers and now we got sent back to zero. But Id give this five stars because we will do it again. A good challenge to race against time and the machine.

This game is so frustrating and addicting. We Absolutely love the simplicity yet strategic quick thinking. Most of all its about trying to better yourself every stinking game. Youll love.
You know those times when you just can't think of a word, but it's right there on the top of your tongue? That's Hexiled in a nutshell. The first levels move along swiftly, then you start getting stuck. Don't get tricked into thinking that the first direction you head is the right direction. Be open to change, even if it looks like you're backtracking. Chin up and carry on.
This game is heaven for a word junkie. Four unique games, each fun and challenging. We will be first in line for future games by these guys. All thumbs up.
We cant get away from this game. Its the Tetris of the 21st century.
This is a great game that offers quite a bit of flexibility. We first began playing in the two untimed modes, until we got the hang of it. Then we ventured on to the other boards. At present, Im loving the gold Survive round. Ive just worked ourselves up to 19:52. Our only request, if we could have one, is to offer color options for all the boards. Visually, we prefer playing on gold & pink, but those boards are limited to their themes. Thank you.
Great game guys all the way around. & best of all…no constant annoying ads to ruin it. Please dont ever change it.
We LOVE Hexiled, but it could be so much better IMHO. Here are a few well-meaning ideas: 1) Make the board scalable so its easier to see more of it at once. 2) Maybe add a scramble feature to consolidate remaining letters for a last gasp effort. 3) Maybe add a few precious Undo options per game? 4) Lose all the definitions and use that space for customizing options, tips/tricks, etc. 5) Board can get funkyit freezes sometimes or refuses to recognize valid words. Keep fixing it and improving it, since it has become our very favorite go-to word game. Thanks.
It is fun, relaxing and challenging, and so far our best word is shatterers for 3,510 points! We do play this a lot, was looking for a game like Spell Collapse, which is not available anymore. Found this, and like it very much, but we do have a problem with it. Sometimes we can leave the game if we have to, and our game is still waiting for us later when we go back to play it- we just click on resume game and there it is as we left it. Other times, we go back to pick up where we left off, and our game is gone, and we have to start over again, which we hate because often we had awesome words with a lot of points! So that is why we are giving it only 4 points. Other than that one complaint, we think this is a great game.
But as others have said, its frustrating that the tiles requiring a certain number of letters for a word are often impossible to play. We want a challenge but if its rarely even possible to play long words then it becomes aggravating And our finger blocks seeing what Im doing. And why oh why does the app simply throw the game out the window when you have to go to another application. Thats dumb. Come on!!! ** we upped it one star cause it is fun. More fun in Discovery mode, but would be so much more interesting and challenging with more and longer word possibilities.
Love this game but everything has reset to zero, even though Im logged into Game Center and our accomplishments all show up. Ah well. :(.

We enjoy the challenge of finding the words in time.
Worked our way (over months) up to some challenging levels in sudoku, and wanted to switch things up with a word game. A few days in and Hexiled looks like it'll have the same escalating difficulty options. Best thing so far is the very extensive dictionary! We were able to play the word WESKIT. Nice.
Love this game except when it freezes because it can't load an ad.
Engaging without drawing you in so much you spend too much time. We appreciate the untimed game, it's less stressful that way.

Just love this- it has become our go-to word game. We dislike the timed reach the edge option, but we play the go-at-your-own-pace version every day. We love the names of the levels. We love the stats. We love everything about it. Trying to crack 20,000 points, but its a beast, which we also- you guessed it- love. Our only problem is that we have started seeing glowing green letters behind our eyes at night. You developers are wonderful, lovable, evil geniuses. Our best word? Crotched- for over 2500 points. Crotched. Ahah ahaha. Love.
We play word games mostly, but while this game is about creating words, its really a strategic game, forcing you to find words in the middle of a giant board of letters. Its easy to get tunnel vision & get stuck, but in order to win, you have to pay attention to other cues, & keep creating words, or youre toast. So far, we are enjoying this.
We love this game! Its great how you can choose the regular mode to work on your speed or the relaxed mode to work on your vocabulary length and quality. Both modes work on attention to detail. Also the relaxed mode lets you work on planning ahead. We do wish there were a way to zoom out to see where you are overall.
We cant really think of anything wrong with this game. Ive always struggled with games like Scrabble because Im a poor speller, ever though we love word games. But in this game we can win many different ways and we get better every time. Its a great way to pass the time when waiting for an appointment. And a good way to relax and de-stress.

We feel like this is the game we have been waiting for. Challenging but achievable, and we think it will take a long time to get bored with this one.
We love this game! It took us a few games before we figured out the objective, but now that we get it, Im hooked and play game after game! Our only complaint is that a couple of times Ive accidentally moved the screen to where we cant see any blank space and then we cant move it back since you have to click on blank space to move. Needs like a bring back to center button.

We only started today and already we're addicted! We love a game that makes us think! We really like that you can play in timed mode and that you can also play in relaxed, untimed mode whenever it suits you. We love challenging ourselves to better our time, length and number of words. We like that you can play 30-second games as well when you have just a little pocket of time. We've already upgraded for $1.99. Two thumbs WAY up from us! This game is a keeper.

We really enjoy this game. We wish that if we just move too far from the open space we would be able to get back to said open space. We had to start over a new game when we accidentally moved ourselves too far away. That was kind of annoying but aside from that it's pretty great.

We love this game and it is very addictive. The free version can keep you playing for a long time, but the paid version gives you access to different ways to play, such as untimed, score based on word length instead of timed and others. We like when time wasters at least make you use your brain.

This game is out right outstanding! There is just one problem. And that problem is that you either have to pay or level up like crazy just to play the other modes.
As in, gets our brain going, and easy to start, pause, resume when u have a spare moment. Challenging but not frustrating, many ways to play. Our new fav word game.

This game is so much fun and it's different from most of the other word games out there. It's challenging but not impossible and it offers different modes. If you are a lover of words and have a rich vocabulary this game is for you. Also, the music for this game is eerily and beautifully haunting which is a nice touch.
