We can play this game for hours! It gets more challenging the longer you play and unlock new levels. The animations are cute and funny. We like to play on the airplane.
Ive been loving this game for years. We take a break after completing all the challenges and come back to it and often find new details Id missed before. Im DYING for a new level (or three), but Im a fan forever. Ive even found jigsaw puzzles by the artist and they are among our few prized possessions. We love this artist, and you will too.
Its relaxing. We like the black and white vs all color. We like being able to move something to find a person. We have no complaints.
We are not one to leave reviews but being we are currently working our way through a second play through of the game – and still thoroughly enjoying the experience – we had to give praise where it is due. It is so hard to find the perfect hidden object game but Hidden Folks absolutely nails it. It has the perfect blend of minigames baked within every few levels and dry, flat humor that is bound to make you breathe hard through your nose. The city scene is truly a masterpiece, if we could pdf the map to print for our wall we would. The artwork is simply that enjoyable throughout the game; even though simple in concept, the level of detail is truly astonishing. We could stare at them for hours and still find something happening! If youre looking for a game that will satisfy that itch for a perfect app, this is for you. The amount of passion, time, and effort put into each level is evident down to the individual descriptions of objects. To the developers – it is noticed and it is GREATLY appreciated!! The people that get it, get it. The developers behind this app CLEARLY do. This is a console quality/worthy game that we would expect to see from a high budget studio, the low price of the app is beyond fair for the experience the app provides. We sincerely hope the team has plans for releasing additional maps or a second edition. :).
Ive had this game downloaded for several yers and we always come back to it. Ive played it at least a dozen times, and Im sure Ill continue to play to it every few months. It never gets boring. The illustrations are adorable, the little sounds are delightful, and the clues are sneakily spot on. And bonus points- there are no ads to deals with! We really hope the developer makes a whole new game just like this or at least adds another area to this one.
So much detail was put into this game. Not just finding the hidden objects, but also the animations, the sounds, the hints, and the Easter eggs! Lots of fun with no pressure.
The things that make this game special are the crisp black and white inkpen illustrations that stave off eye fatigue while endlessly searching through the details, the clever little riddles that accompany the key and serve as helpful hints to finding the objects, the charming lo-fi sounds programmed to respond to the touch of every detail of the illustration (we love the stupid beep of car horns or the silly help of the shipwrecked), the inventive little mechanisms that evolve with each new level to make the scenes interactive and slightly more challenging, and the overall humorous tone of this world of village idiots. We love that little jokes like the mushroom and the blueberry carry over multiple levels and that one factory employee requires hanging out by a tire fire to get her nicotine fix. We finished the game over a boring three day weekend and now we are in mourning because we know its over and they arent making more levels. Perhaps this world doesnt deserve more levels of this incredible game.
We love the sounds, all made by human voices. The puzzles are challenging as well.

This game is one of a kind. So creative! Just challenging enough to keep you engaged but the simplicity of the graphics are so entertaining. But its too short! We want more.
Its so unique and well done. We play the whole thing every year or so, and its delightful every time.
This little game is so creative and so much fun. The clues are ingenious, the drawings cute, and the sound effects hilarious. Definitely worth the price.
Absolutely the greatest game! Its frustrating sometimes, because to find a few of these little weird guys you have to go through a 3-step process. But we love that these people dance, have no faces to speak of, and make the grooviest sounds. Heres one thingwe need more updates!! Ive completely finished from top-bottom 3 times. We still go through and piddle now and then, but Im dying for new places and searches! We get that this has to be the hardest game to create updates for, but Im desperate!! Thanks for so much fun.
This game is so original. The sounds and the clues help you find the different hidden characters.
We replay Hidden Folks all the way through at least once a year. It is by far our favorite game on iphones/ipads ever. We cannot recommend it enough. Never glitches, always reliable and a complete joy every time.
Love this game. It is so creative including the delightful sound track. We play it a couple of time a year, and this time, there were new areas – fabulous. Please – more of these.

We really like this game we just wish there was ways to give hints if youre really stuck on something.
Im disappointed that many of the hidden objects/people are hidden out of view until its location is interacted with by touching the screen. For example, a hidden person or object is often completely obscured behind a door, bush, rock, plant or one of many other possible objects that require you to touch in order to move it out of the way in order to find the hidden object behind it. We want to be able to find the hidden objects by closely looking around the image, not by randomly touching dozens and dozens of moveable objects in the hopes that a hidden object is behind one of them or by needing to constantly rely on hints. Its not a fun challenge; its just tedious and boring. We generally like the art style and we feel that it has good potential for being a game about finding hidden objects. Unfortunately, we primarily played with the audio muted because the amateurish style was annoying to listen to after a few minutes. Overall, Im just disappointed that so many of the hidden objects cannot be found by simply looking at the image. For this reason, we do not recommend this game.
The game presents a series of scenes and your goal is to find the objects listed along the bottom: certain people, a golf ball, a saw, a banana, etc. All the scenes are hand drawn, animated, very large, and a lot of fun. All sounds in the game are noises composed by voice. Some of the objects are out in the open but the scenes are so large it takes some searching. Some are slightly hidden from view but not impossible to find. In each scene there are a few objects that are crazy hard to find, completely hidden in places you dont expect. With each object comes a clue which adds an extra dimension to the game. Could be a casual fun game IF you have a lot of patience. Could also drive you crazy if you dont. We must admit we resorted to Google to find a few of the hard ones. Looks and works great on the big screen of an iMac with trackpad. Excellent artwork. Simple yet challenging. Well worth the price. Fantastic game.

We only wish there were more levels so we can play forever. We completed all the levels years ago & still check frequently to see if theres been more added. Its Truly BRILLIANT! The drawings, the sound effects, the cleverness of it all. We love this game!!!! We want more please.

Loved it. There are many levels and the challenges progress perfectly and in a fun way. A very charming game. Only pitfall is we moved on a couple times without completing the level, assuming we could go back and find later. But once youve completed all the levels, you can only go back to one of the screens per level. Besides that small, small gripe, this is a perfect game.
We wish the creator would add more levels or create a new app with more games like this! We love it.
If you ever liked the we Spy books, Wheres Waldo, or the Highlights find it pages you will love this. The sound effects have to be talked about too. They put a smile on our face every time.
We cannot believe how well this game is made. For five dollars, we really didnt think that this would be as enjoyable as we have found it to be. The graphics are so awesome, and the sounds are super funny. We love looking through the different stages, and we find that it takes us some time to finish each level, but so far Ive never gotten frustrated from it. Everything about this game is super cute, and there really isnt anything like it. The one and only thing that we think could be improved is adding color, but thats really just a personal preference. If youre debating whether or not to get it, we say its a must have 100%.
We think this app is our all-time favorite game in the Apple Store. We really wish they made a sequel.

This is such an adorable, funny and addicting game that you just cant help but keep playing and want more. Our sister and we absolutely LOVE this and could not put it down. All the little sound effects are hilarious and all the stuff going on in background is just too funny! This game is such a gem Thank you for making this wonderful masterpiece.
Its nice playing a game where we dont get interrupted by ads every 5 seconds. Also, the one guy doing every sound, we hear you. You made us laugh. 10/10. Would throw 6 more dollars into this.

There should be more colors you can play in 3. Please add more levels where you have to do something for the folks like help their car get across the street or help them put all the letters together so it says HIDDEN FOLKS.
This game is wonderfully unique! Its deceptively simple, but an addictive challenge. A hidden objects game unlike any other. The artwork is intricate yet clean, not to mention beautiful in its cartoon style. Plus, its hilarious! We couldnt recommend more.

And we dont know what Im going to do. This game is incredible. Extremely clever with so many hidden gems beyond the things youre searching to find. And dont get us started on the sounds <3. We dont ever want it to end but it soon will as the developer said theres not going to be any more updates. Im heartbroken (well, as heartbroken as you can get over a favorite game coming to an end).

This wacky little gem is seriously fun. We dont buy a lot of gamesthey usually bore us, but this one keep our attention to the very end. All the little scenes and sound effects are quirky and funny and the character backstories are hilarious. Well worth it.

To keep it short l, probably one of the best mobile games out there. If youre a fan of Wheres Waldo and we Spy books then this game is for you. Sure its not the best game of all time but its worth the time and money if youre into scavenger games. Ive bought this for our pc, switch, android(old phones) and now iPhone. 10 out of 10 for us.
