Hit The Island Review
With a iPhone 12 mini you could get a really really high score super easily a big notch with a small device is just perfect for this game.
For the longest time this game was our go-to for spending a few minutes on the train. Unfortunately, the game’s new power ups, namely the extra bar and the smaller bar, make the game genuinely unplayable. We would love an option to turn these off.
Payton is our Bbg and she recommended this game to us and its amazing OO TY.
This game made us love our 14 pro dynamic island features!
It wont let us play past 10 points.
This game was 5 stars until we tried the brick break. Not only is it poorly made with us getting constantly stuck and having to quick the game and doing it again, to just having it take way way too long for a mobile level. Honestly the brick break game-mode should be removed altogether. We do not see a way of fixing this. It is very lazy and clearly not player or person tested because of all the glitches and just how boring and bad it is. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because of that game mode, otherwise it would at least deserve 4.
This was our favorite iPhone game of all time (when it first launched). It was so wonderfully simple. But now its got so much spammy crap taking over the game and screen that the simple game is barely accessible. We loved the simple single ball island game play. No expanding paddle, no multiple balls, no extra points crap on the screen. It was so simple so amazing. Now we dont even like to open the app as you have to wade through endless spam screens and options just to get to a lesser game. Developers took all the fun away.

Hello, we love this game and its super addicting and fun but lately when we were playing it would pop up with an ad during the game! We were doing super well about to beat our record and all of a sudden an ad pops up!! This starts to get really frustrating and so we ask you to pls fix this because we really do love this game!!
Its a really good nice and simple.
We love to play this game when Im bored. We also like how there isnt a ton of adds.
Not gonna lie it kinda gets on our nerves.
The game is cool, even very, but after the update our record disappeared (already 112!)
We paid to remove the ads but we now see them whenever we start the game!!!

This game is absolutely amazing, with minimum ads, fun gameplay, and support for listening to music. We will definitely play this when bored!
We personally dont see anything wrong with the game. Graphics are perfectly fine, you can see the ball clearly(until it speeds up obviously). Literally just a came to play a few times until you get bored/rage quit.
One of the reasons we got the 14 pro was to get this app. We know its compatible with any iPhone, but this is one of the mobile games that we actually play daily. Thank you soooo much for creating this work of art!!!
They had the original and then they switched it to this new version in 2.1.5, we hated it and then liked it after we got use to it, but then they just brought back the original and now o cant get higher than 60, our main score now that got carried over is 371.
Good game but its just boring.
We loved this game, but now it seems that it has been sold to Vodoo and since then it has been laggy, choppy, unstable, and we lost our high scores. Update: they seem to have fixed the major performance issue.
This game is excellent, one of our favorites on mobile at the moment – but we paid the premium $9.99 tier and am still seeing ads left and right. Id gladly pay this if it removed ads as promised but does not appear to. Edit: the latest updates seemed to have fixed it. It also runs much smoother now overall thank you! Really, love this game.

We dont know why you guys made this game no longer playable on the Apple Watch, but Im sure it was for a pretty good reason. Though if there was any way it could be available back on the Apple Watch that would be great considering how fun this game is when youre bored and dont have youre phone. Edit: Thank you guys for responding to our review and bringing it back on the watch. We love playing this game a lot.
This game is very good because it uses the iPhone features.
Its a really good game but after the update we lost all of our progress.
To start, this game is a lot of fun. We enjoy playing it as well as customizing the features. We have had some issues with lags and it recently reset our stars and high score. Other than that, it is a really great game and works well on the phone as well as the Apple Watch. We reccomend!
Really fun game but every so often our highs chore will become a lot lower and/or our stats will reset to a much lower number. On Gamecenter our high score remains the same but in the app it shows different scores. Dont know what the problem is but yes pretty annoying when Im trying to save stars.
New update caused us too lose all our progress and backgrounds. Next, the game became 10x harder by round 40, which makes this game essentially unplayable for people trying to beat their previous highscores. Previous iterations was much more fun and should be reverted to in some way. We did appreciate some of the smoothness upgrades, but playability was very sacrificed unfortunately.
We play this game everyday and then today we went to play and all the sudden all our stars were gone and our high-score was reset. This is ridiculous we enjoyed playing this game because we wanted to beat our high score but now that its gone we have lost our desire to play. Please fix this.
This most recent update is so bad. Its almost impossible to play the game because of how fast the balls go now. We had just saved up enough stars to get the ball and paddles we wanted but then the update took it all away. Super annoying. Makes us want to delete because its so frustrating to play now.
It restarted our stars and our high score kinda weird.
We really enjoyed playing this, but each time theres a new update our stars go to 0. We had 2896 stars this morning, the app got updated and now Im at 800 something, they dont even tell you about the update.
Im updated to the most recent version but our purchases from before have been removed. We already paid 9.99 for the no ads bundle with power ups and its gone. It seems unethical to take our money and then remove the things we purchased from our app.
We really enjoy this game and play it frequently. So we were annoyed when we saw that the game took away all the backgrounds, balls, paddles and stars we had gotten. The first time it happened we let it slide because we were early into the game but the second time was so irritating after losing all the stuff we had gotten. They are other glitches where it is slow and flickering but this is the one that takes the cake we’ve decided to delete it its not worth it.
We’re using the latest version and it’s impossible to reach the score of 13 once you reach 10 the watch app glitches. In the apple watch app. Then in the iPhone 14pro we lost all our currency and high score of 315. Very annoyed.
