We love this game but we ran into a major glitch this morning. We had downloaded HLM22 for the iPhone in April. We are a huge follower of the game and in June, we purchased the full HLM22 Pro for $3.99. Yesterday morning while working on some faces and player names – the app restarted itself and the $3.99 for purchase popped up. We pressed to restore and it could not verify the cache and therefore not restore the game. Before all this happened, we deleted our logos because of space but Im not sure if deleting custom logos and the game not verifying our cache is linked. We really love this game and have been playing it as our fave game since we downloaded the limited app in April. We would just like to get the PRO version of this game back. We dont care if we have to start again from season one, we just want to have this pro version back!
They said play the game in the advertisement but its just stats of fake teams.
We love this game but dont like how it says features like an expansion draft are included in the pro version when theyre not. We bought it looking forward to adding our team and doing a draft and starting for scratch only to not have that feature which was a main selling point on the pro menu not being available. Either add it or remove it stop lying.
Absolutely love this game, we’ve sunk about 15 hours into it already and we got it 5 days ago. However, in our first playthrough picking the worst team to start with, we missed the playoffs once and did not miss them since, the game doesn’t have enough challenge, we don’t think we’re some sort of prodigy but we wish the game was more challenging. That being said, it’s still an absolutely stellar game and the $4 is a steal for how much content and depth is in the game.
This is legit the best app it has built in mods for a couple bucks also for all the people that left bad reviews because somthing wasnt working its not that it wasnt working you just dont know how to navigate the app properly we have no problems a tip of advice always save before turning off ur phone then when u get back on click load instead of auto save. You should only really auto save during the actual season.
Great game overall, bought the pro version and it was 100% worth it. Only thing is that the auto save doesnt work and the game save is glitchy. We played two seasons and one sitting and it auto saved along the way and when we logged in again the seasons we played were gone like we didnt play at all. Frustrating but a good game.
Dont waste your time, you have to pay for the full version. Youll get stopped after a couple seasons. Not worth money.
Hello, For some reason the survey form is no longer opening in app. Our biggest recommendation would be more defined skills and attributes. Itd be cool to see more customizability of a team in that form. If we want a fast more skilled team compared to a bigger more physical team how would that play out. Sometimes it gets a little boring in that regard.
This is a solid game all around. Players ratings are accurate and their development/decline is too. The sim is accurate and fast as well. The names are changed for we’re sure copy right reasons but not too changed so you can still tell who the players are. No complaints and worth the $4 for pro.
EA NHLs games have lost their touch, these legacy manager games however offer a simple yet entertaining platform that you will never get tired of!
If you are worry about the four dollars for pro. Think about it and if you see yourself playing this game a lot, get pro trusted us it Worth the four dollars.
Im loving this update, except for how tedious it is to set up an expansion draft. Could you try to put an expansion mode button on somewhere (or where we can find it if it is there)?
Im glad they added waivers but hits arent there which was lacking. Also the lack of trades at the deadline was extremely disappointing. Its a shame, we really was excited for this game. Also if you could move the waivers section down to the side itd be great. Im sure with future updates; well hopefully see an improvement of this game. But right now its a waste of 4 bucks. Please improve this game! We really loved it adores from those lingering issues.
We love the concept and for the most part really enjoy it. We have 2 main gripes with it though. One is the amount of times we lose games in the last 2 mins because the other team drops 3 goals out of nowhere, and the fact that every single season except for 1 where we’ve been the 1 seed, Im the only 1 seed to lose in the first round and get swept on top of that. In 5 seasons, we’ve finished with 98 or more points and in the first round, no matter how well we match up with them on paper, we get swept or go down 3-1 (which we’ve only come back from once). We understand there are upsets but tampa has made it to the semis every season no matter what their seed is. It almost seems like our team is the only one to get upset every time. Like this most recent season, we were the top seed in the west and barely made it to the semis, and no upsets from any round to that point, then we lose in 6 (blowing a 2-0 lead) to a team who we dominated in the regular season. We were the single upset in the entire playoffs. We dont understand why its just our team (87 off 86 def and 84 goalie) that faces this year after year.
This game is absolutely perfect for those who like managing an nhl team and the community player rosters make it very accommodating if you want to play with real people and teams. The glitch we’ve run into in our current save is that we cant simulate past October 13. We’ve tried a lot and nothing will fix it. Need a fix(otherwise 5 stars)
Highly addicting, every cup we win we milly rock on them fools.
We loved 2021 version and was hoping 2022 would be even better. Unfortunately it is not useable. Players disappear from our lineup but they are still there if we want to trade. We cant get through more than a couple days and we lose at least 3 players. We have emailed them several times with no response. No support makes it impossible to use. We should have given it 1 star but we love the work they did with the 2021 version.

HLM20 is still by far the best version. The biggest downfall we have in the game is that it uses generated names. It does not use the real players names like in HLM20. For example, Im sorry but we want to see Panarins name, not Paninki or whatever they used.
This game really highlights the features missing in the ea sports game we wish they could bring it to consoles and pc we also wish they could add an online version this game is great love the minor details and just everything like depth charts the ability to retire numbers and everything.
We’ve been playing hlm since 2019 and it has always been the same, this year took a huge jump from being good to excellent. History mode is awesome, and for mobile gaming this is the closest you are going to get to franchise mode in chel. Amazing. A football version would be awesome.
Amazing game, this is our second year buying and we love the new updates. Would be 5 stars if it werent for a few glitches but they keep updating so thats good. We have had a lot of freezes in Battle Royal mode but we love the concept.
EAs NHL franchise mode is dead because of this. Bought Pro on HLM 20, 21, and 22 and couldnt be happier with it. Amazing app. There are a few bugs still, but the developer fixed them very quickly. They do a fantastic job and they deserve thousands of 5-star reviews. To those who are concerned about buying Pro, if you are planning on playing the game consistently, absolutely spend the $4. Worth every bit, if not more.
We’ve played the game already and we like it, but there are errors with restoring. When HLM21 first came out it let us restore our purchase from HLM20.
Just downloaded this new version this morning and played with it for a little bit. It has enough of a new look and has new features to make buying this version worth it. Its loaded with much more information which makes it more user friendly and enjoyable than 21. Our compliments to the developer for thinking outside the box.
We absolutely never leave reviews for games. This is our first. If you want a great sports simulator look no further. Incredibly in depth and just all around fantastic.
