Everyone loves it especially us we love it.

Love the gameplay & music! A+!!

Three "endless run" games in one hooking adventure. Awesome!

We have close to 100 games this and Super Quick Hook easily make the top 10! We are loyal to Hook games!

We LOVE this game. We play it whenever we’re bored. We even played this in our seat at the premier of The Lion King before the play started. This is easily one of the best games on our iPhone. There’s one small problem, though. We finally mustered the mustard to get the bonus packs a while ago, and the Zelle, Gnome, and Retro Hook ones work fine, but every time we close the app on the multitasking bar, we come back and the Gramps pack is gone. It isn’t that much of a problem when we can redownload it at no cost, but it’s quite tedious to download it each time we play. I’d love if that was rectified.

Amazing game it has four games in one its amazing and awesome if ur not buying it right now then u r stupid.

Brings back lascivious memories of hours spent looking at 8-bit sprites. <3.

This game is fun. We would like it more if there were more hooks and the bonus packs didn’t cost mony.

Please update to 64 bit. This is our favorite game.

Hook Worlds is easily one of the best and most addictive games on iTunes! The time you spent reading this could have been spent in a much better way by playing this game.

It is AMAZING! We don’t usually review games but this one is worth it. Would pay up to $3.99 for it.

Just can’t stop playing it. Maybe widescreen support some time later?

Been draining our battery ever since we bought it. Great game!

We didn’t enjoy it much, simply because we’re not good enough at it. It’s great (as is everything else rocketcat made), but it’s hard. Somehow, we got a higher score on the hardest world than the easiest. ()

We don’t think Rocketcat Games is capable of making a bad game. We first grabbed their newer release, Mage Gauntlet, which we still am loving the hell out of, and more recently gave this game a go. So much fun! So well done. Seriously, Rocketcat.. Keep up the amazing work. Everyone should buy this.

This game has great replayability, we’ve had it for well over a year and we still whip it out and play a round when we’re bored and have 5 minutes to spare. Very easy to get in and out of!

This is our favorite iPhone game, hands down. Been playing it for years, will continue to play it for years to come.

One stage would be worth the price of admission, to get all four, with their own distinct mechanics, puts Hook Worlds over the top.

This is a great game. It is one of our favorites. Recently though, with Punch Quest and Mage Gauntlet, we feel as if this is not Rocket Cat’s best work. Especially because this game has not been updated since 2011.

We bought this game after Wayward Souls came out, having not realized Rocketcat put this out a while back. Well….. We should’ve gotten this back when it came out! Great game with four different worlds and each with its own variation on gameplay. Replay value is through the roof. This is yet another example of why this Dev deserves the kudos!!

Great game, purchased all in-app items to support a great company.

Only expect to play worlds 1and 3 very much, though.

Yet another great Hook game from RocketCat.

Another hit from Rocketcat Games! This app feels like four separate games! If you have any doubts about getting this, put them aside and buy it.

This is one of the funnest iPod games we’ve ever played. We loved Hook Champ and was a little disappointed with Super Quick Hook, but this really brought back the spark.

Buy this if you like Jetpack joyride! Trust us is only 99 cents anyways!

This game is very unique compared to most that we play, but Im enjoying it very much. The aspect of weekly and friend leaderboards keep you coming back for more. Our only gripe is that sometimes our hook wont shoot when we clearly press the screen and fall into the water on world 2. :(

Hard, but fun. However, the game modes could use power-ups, collectables, etc like most runners. Also, costumes for micro-payments in a single player game….. What.

We’re rather new to the Hook Rocketcat games but l love them. This game offers the superb hook-n-swing action in an endless runner experience. It works really well and stands alone as a great game from the other Hook games. If you want to experience the fun hook action and can live without the platformer elements then this game is for you. It’s great!

Great but could use more levels.

This is an addictive endless running/swinging game. Great art. We wish it would support the iPhone 5 aspect ratio!

After spending hours with the other hook games, we were pretty let down by Hook Worlds. Only three game modes? No useful weapon upgrades? Inescapable death situations? Either we’re missing a whole section of this app, or they slacked off on this one. If you don’t have Super Quick Hook or Hook Champ, grab those before getting this one.

The graphics are pretty good, and the gameplay is fun for a few plays, but the game gets old fast. If you were a fan of Hook Champ, this game is only half the fun. We miss the upgrade store and the level maps. What gave Hook Champ it’s replay value was collecting coins and upgrading your equipment. We recommend buying that game instead of this one.

This game is the perfect final chapter in the hook trilogy. The most casual of the 3 with four variants of an endless run in the style of canabalt, monster dash, but with swinging. Think of it as four crazy new avalanche modes. While the game is fantastic it lacks the sense of adventure and level progression that drove us to play for weeks like the previous two. Its a quick fix spin off of an epic game. At first we enjoyed unlocking items at a nice pace but the level of difficulty takes a jump and became frustrating. If you enjoyed super quickhook this a must buy at .99., Just don’t expect the complete package of SQH.

This is our new favorite game! Even though the 4 modes are similar, they have enough variety to make us want to play them all. Great controls and cool graphics!

Fantastic game! Great replay value and awesome graphics. A must buy!

We bought this at release, but didn’t play it very much for some reason. We recently picked it up again, and was pleasantly surprised by how fun it still is. The game does a good job at introducing alternative play styles while retaining the core hook experience. We imagine some of the modes are leftover ideas the developer had after hook champ and super quick hook, but didn’t want to make something lackluster by trying to flesh them out into full games. World 2 definitely needs some balancing work. The enemies that circle around you are mostly impossible (especially when there are two sets together), and as another reviewer pointed out, the crabs are sometimes impossible when there’s no ceiling over the second one. It’s easily the weakest of the four worlds, though it has a lot of potential.

We think the "hook" series is a must own for any iOS gamer.

Really, really challenging. But if you’ve played any of the other hook games you know that.

"Hook Worlds" is the third and latest game in Rocketcat’s "Hook" series, an iOS exclusive series of arcade-style platform games we have always admired. We bought Hook Champ, the first game, on the day it came out, and we have been a Rocketcat fan ever since. All of the "Hook" games offer attractive 2D graphics, a quirky sense of humor, loads of polish, hats, and an easy-to-learn, difficult to master "hooking" gameplay that has always been the core of the series. Oh, and the developers frequently iupdate their games with new content and bug fixes. Where this game differs from the first two is in it’s structure and focus. Rather than having the player blast through or freely explore pre-designed levels, as in the first two games, "Hook Worlds" is a set of endless, randomized games, similar to the endless modes in Super Quick Hook. Each game provides different visuals and audio and offer their own unique twists on the "Hook" mechanic. Game 1, "Curse of the Watcher", features purely traditional style hook acttion. You are running from an monster who is constantly chasing you, and the goal is to get as far as you possibly can before you die, either from the monster or some environmental hazard. There are no frills here, just yor rocket jump boots for emergencies and certain situations. The second game "Bounty Gunner", slows the pace of the gameplay for a bit and focuses on run-and-gun style gameplay. Your character must shoot the ghost pirates and other enemies which block her path. If she gets hurt three times, either by an enemy or spikes, it’s game over. While hooking is still required here, it’s much less frequent than it is in "Curse of the Watcher". A keen sense of timing and accuracy is needed, as your shots slowly recharge, so you can’t waste even one. The third game, "CyberGnome 20XX" truly shows off the developer’s quirky sense of humor. The scenario, a gnome running from an evil corporation in an opressive future, is completely ridiculous, as is the pre-game dialogue, but that’s a big part of the fun. Here, the player has the ability to shift gravity and run on the ceilings whenever he needs to. There are also gravity-shifting fields, which automatically shift the gravity when the player runs across them. The player must think on their feet and really figure out the best way to navigate the hazards ahead, either through hooking, gravity switching, and in many cases both. This is the hardest game to get used to playing, but it is arguably the most fun and rewarding in the set. If you’re good, you will activate "rainbow" mode, which is hilarious. The fourth game, "Hook Champ 1000" is perhaps a bit less polished than the others. For one thing, there’s no intro or ending you can unlock if you are good enough. The only real twist here is the art-style, which takes an even more old looking approach than the original Hook Champ. For the most part, the game is difficult traditional hook gameplay, but instant-death spikes and gravity fields from the previous two games are thrown into the mix as well. This is unquestionably the hardest game in the pack, and while it’s not our personal favorite, we wouldn’t be surprised if someone else said it was. The app as a whole is very polished all across the board. The menus are slick and well laid out, the graphics are smooth, and there’s even Game Center integration for achievements and leaderboards. Overall, if you liked the previous games, you will also enjoy this one. And if you haven’t played any Hook games before, what are you waiting for?.

This is an incredible variation on the runner games and easily our favorite. Whether you have a few minutes to kill or a couple hours, this fits the bill! Another winner for Rocketcat! ~D!

We cannot stop playing, so fun! Love the graphical style. Even better with the update. spoiler Just start shooting the crabs once you recognize the background (you can shoot offscreen) and you will be able to kill both.

Easily worth $.99! It’s very addictive and fun; we’ve played it for hours as soon as we got it. Also, it’s frustrating enough to keep to playing without getting too irritated. We normally don’t bother writing reviews, but we felt we had to since this game is so good. Nice job Rocketcat!

Bought this in order to support you guys (played Super Quick Hook a lot on our friend’s ipod and didn’t want to buy it and start it again, or play Hook Champ when everyone told us SQH was better) while we wait till you release Mage Gauntlet… And we found myself wit ha VERY fun game =D Definitely worth more than the asking price!! Hopefully you’ll release Mage Gauntlet soon!
