Exciting Multiplayer Mode: Players will get 2 minutes to find as many words as possible and also earn bonus tiles that will increase their scores. Put your money where your mouth is with the all new Token system. Earning tokens is fun and easy, just win against your friends to earn more! Also, check out the all new Word Shop for different ways to get more tokens!
All New Extended Mode: Reach each new level based on a set number of moves per level.
Standard Mode: Play at your own pace as you strategize to create bigger words and earn bonus tiles.
Timed Mode: Players get 2 minutes and an endless supply of letter tiles to form as many words as possible.
Collapse Mode: Try and clear the board of letters before new ones fall into place. Form bigger words that will give you bonuses to clear more letters.
Blitz Mode: A static 6 x 7 board where letters don’t change and players have 2 minutes to find as many words as possible. Be sure to make as many bonus letters as possible to make those scores skyrocket!
Expert Mode: Players get an endless supply of letter tiles to form as many words as possible. Advance to the next level by scoring enough points to fill the bar. Difficulty increased with each level, this mode is aimed at our expert players. Will you accept the challenge?

Great game but they have to fix it!! Can’t log into Game Center no matter how we try.

We love this app, but it crashes every time we go to use it. We have to delete the app and reinstall it whenever we want to use it. We wish they would update the app because its been six years. :-(
This is one of our favorite word games. The other favorite is tumble words! We love the challenge of looking for long words so we can score more points. We get to challenge myself!

Its fun trying to get words worth 5 times points and then add that word to another also with high points. The numbers just keep going! There is a lot of planning involved so the game can go on for quite awhile. Great game.
We first played in our brother-in-law’s iPad and we were hooked! Love it!
We recently upgraded our software for our iPhone and now we can’t finish half of our games because the app stops working. We get back on and it starts a new game!!!!!! All the progress we made is gone!!!! Please fix this issue!!!!! We love that there is a non timed choice. At our age we are a bit slower so with this game we don’t feel the stress and pressure. Keep up the good work and fix the problem!!!!!!!

Addictive. Although the bonus words we never heard of and was thrilled we found a long word like December and it wouldn’t take it!! But love love the game! We play daily and got people at work hooked on it we play on our breaks and try to beat each other’s score.

This is a great game if you have only a minute or two. Yet we often find myself playing Hooked on Words for 20 minutes or more! We like the fact that there are different modes, so it’s always a new game. A bit too many ads, but that’s really common these days.
