Been playing for a while now, and never thought Id live to see it get updated, the new changes are welcome and am excited for the new game mode but some issues came up with the recent version and we dont know where else to address them. It seems for us that when given the chance to upgrade Management, everything just recents back to 0.0 and we lose all the progress we had already made. Additionally, Im unable to feed any of the animals in Clone Park. These are just things we want brought to light, for anyone wondering if the game is actually fun, it is. The visual effects are cute, and anyone familiar with pop culture are sure to catch some references.
Just unlocked volcano island and cloned the salamander, but our capacity & visitor time are stuck at level zero (it wont let us upgrade it) very cute art style, a fun game to pass the time.
The gameplay is good and addictive. However the only issue we have is that about half the time when it needs to load an ad it fails and you dont get the reward or the game freezes and you have to reboot ( doesnt happen as much). We have found that the best thing to do is collect as many of the coins that you can before hitting watch ad. For if it reboots any money left out is lost.
Its an equally well made idle game compared to all the others out there except this one has a couple of unique systems to give you just a little bit more to do when you log into the game every so often like digging up fossils.
Fan of the game, it runs great, but we think youre looking for paleontologists, not archaeologists! Paleontologists study history through the fossil record, while archaeologists focus specifically on human history. A roughly 2.3 million year difference :)
The game itself and the idle experience is honestly great, and the art it very nice to look at and look forward to the next upgrade. The awkward part comes in the games text and AD placement. The English is mediocre, a prime example being the first purchase gift bag isnt explained clearly, youll see for yourself. The ads, while there are no random pop up ads, which is a big plus, almost every reward is behind an ad watch, with the rewards varying between worth the watch and why waste 30 seconds on this instead of another free ad reward. Even catching the thief only results in her offering an ad reward, while good, but not the gold she stole. We would recommend pairing this app with a different pastime for all the ad rewards if you want to quickly progress. IMPORTANT pet peeve of ours is misleading prize wheels. A polar bear offers relic rewards and an ad reward to multiply the relic by 1x, 3x, 5x, and 10x. The graphic of the wheel would mean each section has a 25% chance to be landed on. This isnt true as you will predominantly land on 1x, and is outright disgusting to see in any game, including this one.
Im a huge fan of Idle Fossil Museum, so much so that the level rewards have stopped paying out (Im over 120+ levels in), and once you move past the ads everywhere you look its actually a lot of fun. Its not a traditional idle game, and its got a wonderfully unique system of digging up fossils and assembling dinosaurs or other creatures. All in all, we would recommend you play Idle Fossil Museum. Itll keep you busy for at least a little while. What this game needs, quite ironically, is more life. It needs more contentmore stuff to do. For example, once you max out everything in the starting area its not even worth your time or effort to go there anymore because the monetary payout is next to nothing compared to what you earn in area 2. We dont know if this developer even cares about this game anymore, but if by some slim chance they read this we want them to know we enjoyed the content they have going so far, it just needs more. Constant additions and updates is how you keep your game relevant and alive, and Im not seeing much movement behind the scenes.
Great game, except we have a major bug where we cannot complete certain fossils. For example, the Vaalbara A fossil is stuck at 50% and the Pangaea S fossil is stuck at 95% despite continued digging attempts, which is somewhat annoying as we cannot further progress through the game because of this.
We have the lucky dig chance upgraded to 50% but out of 19 digs it happens twice???? Am we missing something, it should happen around half the times.

There are like 80 different tutorials blacking out all other options and making us do this or do this or have a pop up ad or make us spend our money on something we dont want. Just please let us play the game, even 4 year olds would get mad. We try to go out on a dig and it makes us read 3 paragraphs on something we already know or makes us use an ability that is obvious what it does. Let us do things on our own, The target advertising doesnt seem to be 3 year olds, so stop treating the player like one.
Just when you think its over and you have some freedom to start some upgrades, it takes you to another page to show you something. Was trying to listen to music but couldnt even get to the game settings to turn down the music because its forcing you to press something. Played for like 15 minutes and could not find the patience to see it to the end.
We dont need our hand held for this long of a time. Other than that, good game.

Was fun at first, but then it got super laggy and buggy. For instance, just today we went to dig fossils and the game froze. We closed out of it and the music was still playing. We turned off our phone and the music was still playing. Only after we powered our phone off did it stop.
We understand the use of ads and Im not too offended by this, especially in a free phone game. However, a few of the character designs are just straight up black face… Thats not even close to okay.
We hope you enjoy adds because that is half the game. You need to have use ads for everything. The ads are 30 seconds long. We cannot imagine someone playing this game without getting choked by ads.
The game is structured around you watching ads to progress. Theres even a daily achievement for watching 15 ads, what even is that?? This game offers no way to progress without watching 10 ads in one sitting. Also they have a feature to earn chests and then only allow you to accept said chest by watching an ad; no ad, no chest. If you try to just play the game without watching a single ad, you will remain around the tutorial.
Archaeologists do NOT dig up dinosaurs. THOSE ARE PALEONTOLOGISTS. Watch Friends. Do a 5 second Google search.
The layout needs to be updated to accommodate for the iPhone notch. Its been 4 years since the notch was on iPhones this developer is just lazy.
Ok so we love dinosaurs. And this game is great. BUT THE ONE MAJOR PROBLEM we HAVE RIGHT NOW. Is that we have used money on this game cuz thats how much we love finding fossils. BUT when we spend ten bucks to get 100 Dino tickets to dig. And then watch our tickets go from 90 to 4! Is NOT OK! Thats a big issue and a MAJOR RIPOFF OF MY MONEY. We KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IS A PROBLEM. ESPECIALLY when it did the same thing the day before. We dont know where we can go to report an issue but that needs to be installed. Additionally part. After trying to hit restore and see if we could recover what was lost As we said we hit restore to see if that would fix the issue to no success. We even PAID FOR MORE TICKETS. JUST TO NOT RECEIVE what was lost. AND ENDED UP LOSING THAT AS WELL. Glad this game was free to download because it definitely isnt worth the money we have spent on it.
Its a very good game, lots to do and unlock but the downside is, it being heavy on ads. The ads are almost spammy, its unbearable after a day of playing. Dont waste your time.
Its really disappointing that the ads are so rampant in this game, its honestly really fun and we would gladly pay to remove ads permanently but theres no such option. It really isnt a problem when you first start but after playing for 4+ hours youll be getting ads even just to claim the fossils you dig up. How is that okay? Isnt the entire core game mechanic to dig up fossils? And the results of your dig gets walled behind ads? Greedy.
The art for some of the characters needs to be re-done. There are some characters that are racially insensitive. If you dont know what characters we are referencing you either need to do more research about slavery and Jim Crow laws or youre not far enough in the game to have unlocked them. -Thank you for your time.
This game is an overt copy of another game, Tap! Dig! Our Museum!, and should be treated as such. Even from the start, the game takes the original concept and taints it with the addition of unnecessary mechanics, a more cluttered art style, and a ridiculous amount of advertising. If anyone enjoys the concept, but finds the game itself is not worth it, please support the original by playing. Our Museum is, in our opinion, a hundred times better in comparison.
The game is fine, but we found that the racist caricatures of the people were very offensive. There was literally no reason to make them look like that.
We love the game so much! We noticed that you have the indominus/allosaurus skeleton, but we want MORE. We think you should add more to the lab like a lab museum filled with hybrids like stegoceratops and spino raptor, and to unlock them you must collect full skeletons from each of the two creatures, and add them to clone park! Also, thank you for adding Godzilla, we have never found such a good game that includes Godzilla. Keep it up!
Way too many prompts asking to double your money or earn gems or buy packages. Feels like a good idle game lost on a sea of monetization.
This game is fun and all but we have a problem where its pretty much only giving us upgrade missions we dont know if its a bug but we get on and can only upgrade it a couple of times which gets really annoying we dont know how much longer Ill have to do this but its making us play the game a lot less.
Its a decent game marred in to having to watch way too many ads, theyre optional, but if you want to make any real progress you have to indulge in them. Id pay $5 for this game if we could get without ads.

After level 90, Im not getting any talent points to upgrade the skill tree, even though the developer said we should be able to. Please fix.
We bought 50 of the tickets to dig and we come back to the game with only 5 even though we havnt used any so rip.
Too many bugs its not recognising our offline income so we get no money and after lvl 90 there is no reward for lvling up.

Okay, we get ad games and idles games like these. And we get that games use ads to make money when they are free. BUT other games give you the OPTION to watch those ads for a better reward. This game MAKES you watch ads to get ANY reward. And not only that, but it is always Immortal Taoist Idle Games as the add. The. Same. Ad. Not even the same ad with a different video BUT THE SAME AD! It is annoying to do one motion and then get bombarded with watch this ad for rewards, new visitor has an ad reward, you lost dodos so watch this ad to be able to find them then once you find them watch this ad to get the reward. It is too much. Idle Theme Park does ads like this but they give you the option of here is a reward OR an ad to get double not every. Single. Button click. Means. An. Ad.
Do not spend ANY money on this game we just lost all our diamonds and our golden tickets that we got and we had about 30/5 and they all disappeared.
Why trump has to be in the game, never playing again for that.

We just wanted to write a review to tell anyone that plays idle games that THIS ONE is pretty coolawesome collectibles that give you bonuses that you can display next to your dinosaurs, and that also goes for the visitors/workers you have! JUST TRY IT! Please we just wanna see this game PROSPERRRRRR.
We love dinosaurs and fossils but this game has given us more love for them and in conclusion we need more games like this.
We’ve been enjoying this idle game a lot. Especially the fun graphics and characters. Definitely one of our fave artworks! The game doesnt feel too hard or lagging as you level up like many games do, so thank you. Id only love one hint! What is sweeping or sweeping the map ??? We are stuck on this quest on both maps and we have no idea what it means? Thank you friends. Keep up the good work.
What we think could make this game a little better is that if you get a duplicate bone while building a dinosaur it should add to the lvl progress and that is it. Love the game.
Dear developer we were watching an ad for 25 gems when it gave us 10,000 instead just wanted to make sure that you guys knew about P.S we love this game.
This is a great bite-size idle with a pretty fun and unique core mechanic of digging up fossils. Its very ad-heavy with no IAP to disable ads which is unfortunate, but if you can deal with that youve got a fun little idle on your hands. Devs – now that we’ve reached level 90, we’ve stopped receiving xp talent points for new levels. The level up alert appears to indicate that Ill get another talent point, but we dont. We’ve tried resetting our skill tree but nothing changed. Thanks for a great game!
We have only been playing this game for a day and Im addicted. We cant stop playing it. This game is definitely underrated.
We love the game but we dont understand how to sweep the map. It is very frustrating.
But thats really our only complaint, its a pretty solid game for being on mobile, the adds can get pretty annoying sometimes but solid game 4/5.
