Idle Five – Basketball Manager Review
When we started the game the transfer market had a lot of legendary players you can get but you don’t have the resources (which means you have to spend if you want to get them) and then when we got close to enough resoursces and gold they suddenly stopped appearing in the transfer market and it’s been weeks watching it refresh without seeing any legendary in there for us to buy actually there’s is barely any epic either which aren’t that good anyway but still.
We bought the VIP pack to get rid of adds. But yet we still have to watch adds for everything. What a waste of money. If it wasnt for that we would give it 5 stars but the developer seems money hungry.
The game was just getting fun. And then we tried to level up a character, all of a sudden, the game crashed. Ended up closing out the app, and reopening, only leading to a black loading screen after initial loading screen. Now, Im stuck in the loading screen and cannot play.
The screen just goes black after we had just bout some gold. We can refresh the app all we want and it loads to a black screen.
We completed every difficulty can you guys please add more levels.
We can not get any more money from our players.
Hello, we have been playing the game constantly for about a year now and we love it. We dont have issues really with any of the features of the game but we have an issue with the club coins. We have been collecting and we now have over 1500 club coins but we dont understand the value or use of them. What are they for? From what we’ve seen you cant buy anything with them and we think you should be able to . Please add or advise us what the club coins are for and the use of them ? Thank you please reply to this for me.
Originally, we thought this game was a five star. There was no doubt in our mind that this was one of the better sport idle games. The frustrating thing over the past few weeks is the cost of in game modifications. Everything has been inflated so drastically that it is almost impossible to play at this point. We purchased the VIP day one. Now when we look at the value that purchase compared to the inflation of the market of the game, its almost unplayable. If something doesnt happen within the next couple days to week, we believe we will quit the game. Its very frustrating because we look forward to playing it every day. Theres so much more that we can say but as of right now just understand that the inflation in the game is so drastic that it is almost impossible to get a legendary player at this point without spending about $20 or $30. You can get a rare player thats just as good if not but unfortunately, that will run you about $10 worth of in game supplies.
This game is amazing but just a small problem with iCloud connecting.
Game is fun for awhile. But you adventually hit a paywall once you start going theogh the game where it takes long to upgrade your players, you have to spend money to make progress theough the game.
This game is great. It keeps you hooked. We do have a suggestion tho, if you have vip you should be able to customize names of your player. That would be a great update. Once again, Great Game!!
We love this game but none of our players are making cash and our scout time says 155 days?

We love the game so much but we really dont know how to put in new players.
Its very annoying to have to click on each and every player card to upgrade them. It would make things so much easier. Another thing is having to spend energy to go back and get all the other stars in the previous levels that youve already beaten. Another suggestion would be if a player doesnt have enough items to hire a new basketball player that it should show them and how to get them. One more thing is you should make quests and stuff to earn those items that get you farther into the game like the items for hiring new basketball players. Just a thought. This would easily be a good 5 star game, but theres one easy to fix game breaking issue. Once one of your players is replaced, you cannot get that old player back. We had a player with a high level skill and lost him when we bought another player. Why cant we keep all players we buy?
Our players stopped giving us money and made the game impossible to play.
We just cant. Tried everything.
We low game and we fin how the basket BALLS go in the big hoop.
1:Let people buy everything for different prices. For example,let people buy one of everything (Im exaggerating). 2:Spread the advertisements (ads) out! Make sure we have less advertisements but at different times.

Game was fun definitely a pay to win game for sure in our opinion. We’ve beat the game at this very moment ranked 19th place with 2180 power for our team. Bummed that we cant go any further at the moment. Hopefully there will be an update soon.
This is the best basketball game we’ve ever played.
We really love the game it is very fun and very few ads.
Game is very good for the first island or so but its gets very slow and after you max out facilities there is no use for the currency given.
We really like playing the game. Its enjoyable and something we can do when we wake up. The issue is, the levels as of right now cap out. We worked hard to make our team better but it doesnt matter when the levels end and have nothing to do but earn money to improve the team for nothing but just to sit there.
The game is fun but the vip is a complete scam they dont get rid of ads and it doesnt benefit you at the end of the day but besides that its an alright game.
Most of our time is spent waiting for free gold or for money to accumulate. At higher levels its impossible to gain money at a decent rate forcing you to wait days to upgrade a single player and weeks to beat the next team. Not worth it in the long run.
First few islands is fun. You progress well and its fun. Later on youll spend days waiting and having to check back in only to claim gold its not worth it. Rank 35 and its taken 2 days and still cant beat the 34. The game wants you to spend money. Cant even fathom how long of a wait itd take to get players to lv 100.
Even when we have an 20-30 team power advantage we still lose! We deleted the app it made us So mad.
We hardly ever read or write reviews because we think theyre fake and paid for lol how ironic. Nah but this game and the developers are amazing. We’ve been playing this game for a few months now and we just ran into a HUGE issue like borderline deleting the game and Im now currently in the process of getting our issue resolved as we speak. Idk game is great not much more we could ask for other than a cloud save feature and the ability to edit your players name and gear!
We like the Game a lot. We think if you could add practice games and if there was a way to keep some players that you already had before that would be great we love the graphics in the games its really god stuff.
Game was fun for first week, then you hit a pay wall where you literally cant advance (beat teams) unless you pay or wait ridiculously long times to log in for coins and tokens type things you need to upgrade. We even paid the one time $5 thinking that would make difference to be a VIP, but at level 99 and have to log in every day get some coins and tokens then nothing as you cant beat teams in front of you and cant go back to play old teams for any tokens. So basically the game is log in 2-3 times a day every day get free tokens and then log off. After a few days you should be able to upgrade a player or two and maybe beat one more team in front of you. Then again go 2-3 days doing the same. Game is becoming super boring and ready to delete.
When are there going to be new levels. It has been about 2 months now. We have upgraded everything at the campus headquarters so those tokens are useless and at this point it takes forever to upgrade players because there is no double tokens from wins. We know Im not the only one. How about focus on new levels instead of campus stuff.
We love everything about this game And we wish they made more games like but instead of basketball football hockey baseball so on but this is a good game and we would download it.
We have spent a whole lot of time in this game but enough to notice there are some bugs. One for example, we set it so there should be no sound and no music but when we leave the app open and go to a different app and back it says the setting are how we set them but we still get the sound effects and music.
What are club coins used for? There is nothing in the game that provides us with that information! Please let us know where we can find this!
So the game is fun and it was built very well, the problem comes with the company, and its money hungry tactics. Just to play the game you have to watch ads or spend gold which is hard to get, 10 minutes to play one game.
We thought the headquarters was suppose to produce gold and club coins. It did for the first few days, but now, nothing. Does it only produce a set number of gold/coins the. Nothing? If so that seems a waste to upgrade. We sent a message but got no reply. Guess a 1 star review.
This game is such a great game with a theme that isnt see as much. The game is built so well with great features and they keep adding new stuff. The game is a genuine grind and the V.I.P is a great deal. The support team is great with responding when messaged. The only problem is that the game isnt fully finished, but theyre working on it and the game is amazing. Also there are such few ads.
Really good game. One thing we would add is a stat sheet after each game showing how much each player scored. Keep up the good work.
We enjoy playing the game, and there are some fun features that keep you wanting to do more (matches and abilities are fun, upgrading your players). We also like that you can play on and offline, so you dont have to stop progress if you cant access the internet. However there are a few bugs that have personally made us hit a wall that havent been addressed: – our HQ hasnt been generating any gold bars or club coins for a week nowI thought it was because we were upgrading it, but we havent received anything, making it hard to progress in the game – our contact us button is also broken, it doesnt allow us to contact anyone about the issue. If those were fixed and addressed we think we would be more likely to play the game more; otherwise, a good game to play on and offline to kill time so far.
We had played the game on a previous device and it worked just fine but now when we press the game before it starts it just crashes we tried multiple times. We are on iPad Mini 2.
