Community Insight:
This is one of our favorite games we love to play, Ive had it on every phone Ive owned and one day it just stopped working.. Idk if its not supported anymore but we would love if this could be fixed.
Amazing game. Probably changed our perspective on video games as a whole. Storyline is wonderful. Gameplay is unique and challenging. Need more games that feel like this.
This game is really addictive, Im hooked.
We played this game 4+ years ago and have remembered it fondly to this day. Its so good. Its adorable, its funI love it. Give this game a try. We promise you wont regret it. ((+It doesnt assault you with ads or micro-transactions, so its very free-to-play friendly.)).
We love it so much. It takes a bit to learn the mechanics, but once you get into it its a solid dungeon crawler.
We love the game. It reminds us of eight bit games and gives a dungeon crawling gameplay with strategic action.
Ive been playing this game for years and Ive beaten it more times than we can count. As far as mobile games go, its one of the best Ive ever played. The only criticisms we have are that the dialogue could have been better, and the gimmick levels, particularly the dog one, are more annoying than fun. Also, it would be nice if each level had a % completion marker so you could know that you found everything there. We always wanted to 100% the game, but without knowing which levels to revisit, its too much of a chore.
This game reminds us of the time we would play our game boy in the car. Very nostalgic and well made, surprisingly it doesnt have more people into this game. Feels like games nowadays are made in a rush and no fun at all. The music is cute as well, honest inspired us to make an rpg as wel.
Excellent. Would love to see it advance.
This has been the best mobile game Ive played in some time. Why did it have to be so short.
Needs Somethin to Enhance The Experience of What The Game Has And a Transference Of Use To Be able to Use Outside Of Phone.
Just started playing but we already love this game. Annoying how the health works though.
We love this game and it is really fun. It is one of the most fun games we have played in a while. We really like how it almost has a gameboy retro feel and it feels like it is somewhat related to Legend of Zelda the Minish Cap. We definitely recommend this.
Really a fantastic game. Lots of love and respect to the devs <3. The art, animation, music, and gameplay all come together to make a really satisfying experience. We love the boy and his dog duo as well. This is a strategy and puzzle game with the spirit of an adventure rpg. The difficulty is spot on. We loved the enemy variety and the animations (esp the enemies disintegrating and the barrels exploding). The level progression and player character leveling system are also really well implemented. And the way each dungeon is segmented makes it easy to play in short bursts. We really think this is a great dev team and look forward to any future games these folks create.
Good game, a little confusing at first but enjoyable.
Thanks for giving us something to do during our wait.
This is the most challanging and entertaining game we played in a while. Couldnt put our phone away until we finished it (which took us 6 hours). Really hoping for another level or whole new game pt.2.
This game has potential. At the moment it is terrible. If you lose your hearts you have to start again with 1. Your sight range is too small to think ahead. To refill your hearts you have to pay with coins. You find coins in dungeons but you get killed so fast because you have 1 heart and cant get more coins to heal. You can also heal with med kits, which are guarded by enemies. You cant sneak past them because your sight is small. Everything blends together to make it impossible to progress. If the developer is reading this, you spent all your time on design but not the gameplay. If you want people to actually enjoy this game, fix it. We get you want to make it hard, but giving people no chance to progress is artificial difficulty. Just make it to where your hearts reset back to 3 when you go back in. Then the game would be possible, and enjoyable. Good day.
We just love this game a 8- Bit strategy game in black and white with good enemies and endless fun and the game is charming really great game.
Great graphics, gameplay, and music!Reminds us of our gameboy.
One of the best games we have played in a while when it comes to a turn-based dungeon-crawling rpg. Its refreshing to find a game like this after the saturation of mindless rpg idle or clicker games on the market. Our favorite part so far is the puzzles incorporated into this game and how they change. We enjoy being challenged the way this game presents it. When we make a mistake it motivates us to keep playing instead of being annoying. We realize that Im able to pass the level Im stuck on if we think more carefully instead of having to grind for days or months like other idle rpg games. Lets not forget to mention the art style and awesome sounds plus music! Thank you for making this.
So we downloaded this game way back in high school, and we think that was maybe 7 years ago? Anyway, we loved it, but we fell off once we got stuck on a difficult level. We were reminded of it again and wanted to play it but it won't open on our phone sadly. We do wanna say though. We remember this game being charming and having a nice rhythm to it, progression was slow but that encouraged us to think about our decision making a lot more.
We really like the design and idea but its so difficult to move around and play. The idea where you cant move for a second or do anything after 3 moves is really annoying, and it makes it really slow. We havent made it mast the second level in an hour because of how the skeletons 2v1, and we die to the second skeleton if we dont already die to the first. Theres potential, but please make at least the first levels easier and make the moving restrictions easier.
We think its a pretty good game. We just found it awhile ago bored and just gave it a shot. Its very different from what we usually seen and thats pretty good. But we dont like the the ugly ads popping up but thats ok. Other then the weird money/time/coin barrier making this feel money grabbing. Its a well ok app/game. We also keep dying at the dog part, but thats our fault for being bad at playing.
We think its a great game! But whenever you revive you dont get the chance to hit or shot the skeletons or eyes. Over we love the design.
It was a short learning curve and a few player errors taught us the basics so fun game.
We really enjoy this game, but the ad placement is a bit jarring from the experience.
The gam is great but you have to buy more bullets with coins which cost a lot.
Random crashes, and not fitting to the screen size of the XS Max make trying to find out how many hearts you have left a guessing game. Also, the dots are never explained. (…and we only knew we were not seeing health/hearts by seeing a screenshot on the store page.).
Its cute and just a little challenging, fun little puzzle of a game. No brute force here, like the kid said, chess.
We love this game and it needs a sequel or more levels.
For anybody who's back to playing this game for nostalgia, know that its a pretty good game. But It takes a good ten minutes to get used to and understand how the game works and what to do. Once you get used to the controls, by level four for us. It throws you under the bus and makes you play as the dog. Other than that, we feel its a very good game.
Decent introduction to mystery dungeons, try Shiren the wanderer.
Game is hardly enjoyable without in app purchases we would rather pay 10$ once for a full version then 1$ to get more hearts or whatever the art is very nice most deaths are caused by enemies that were offscreen the music is great the dungeons are boring the puzzles are too easy the game feels like one of those EA parody videos. It feels like a console game at first, but then you realize to have any real fun you have to pay, and even then its just kind of mediocre.
Fun game, a little hard and is slightly pay to win. Im glad you dont have to pay for lives. What we mean is if you die, you can keep trying over and over again without running out of lives like some games. Love the art style.
The more we play, the more often the game crashes. We're stuck on Nightmare 14, not because it's difficult, but because it crashes too often (at least once a game now), making it nearly unplayable. Please look for whatever exception isn't being handled so we can finish this wonderful game.
The game is a super cute idea in and of itself, but there needs to be some introduction to the game of how to use the buttons (we still dont know what that clock button thing under the map does) and how to beat the skeletons. We were really confused and just got frustrated, because sometimes we would defeat the skeletons, and other times we wouldnt, even though we did the same thing. We thought the gameplay was really cute and fun despite the skeleton cave theme, but the gameplay needed to be explained in our opinion.
We have an iPhone mini. The screen is cropped on the left edge, so we effectively cannot play the game properly. We wish we could. It seems like an awesome game.
Parts of game pushed off screen on 12 Mini making it impossible to get out of certain sections, leaving you stuck. Statistics and Info screens have no button to exit. During gameplay screen ends immediately below controls. Botton 1/4 inch of screen pushed off display.
Keeps crashing please fix this game is awesome but fix crashing.
We were really excited to play this game but when we tried to play it after downloading it just wouldnt load and we kept on getting kicked out. We closed out all of our tabs multiple times and tried to turn off our iPad and turn it on again. Nothing would work :(.
We cant play the game, we deleted it and downloaded it again but its still crashing every time we open the game. Is there anyway to fix this.
The game wants you to watch adds or pay for coins to make progress at a reasonable pace. Once you upgrade something, health, moves ammo, at the most will take 2 hours before you get it. The game other wise isnt bad has a fun strategy and has a good design but the game wants you to spend money or watch adds.
Screen resolution is big and there is not back button on map visible.
This game looks beautiful, but its as deep as a puddle and wants you to watch hours of ads to progress.
Simple but fun sliding-block and pressure plate dungeon puzzles. Fun figuring out tactical combat when you need to learn how to sense and anticipate enemies beyond your limited light range. Very challenging and cool lock-picking mini-games. Tips: Action point upgrades are costly but very powerful. Figure out how to restore health and ammo without spending coins so you can save up. Learning how to sense targets you can't see will save you a lot of health, and is essential for beating the end boss.
This game is challenging, but its not unbeatable! Its more of the so hard its fun type of thing. Despite what others say, we dont think the coin-to-power up ratio is unfair. If you take the time to unlock the chests youll have enough coins to steadily upgrade. We do not like the having to wait x-amount of time for the upgrade to apply, but thats splitting hairs. Great game.
This game originally had a rough look to us but once we had started playing its pixelated art style and strategic gameplay changed our mind.
Very cool concept and we'll designed. Actually took us a while to grasp the turn based concept. Challenging without being frustrating. Highly recommend.
Why did you sell tomb of the mask to another company?? Why do you want strangers to interfere your company and your ideas? We understand you make money with this reaction but do not allow to any one to interfere your company.
