We played this game when it came out and it had good welcome gifts but then we lost our data, we started again but then they got so stingy we cant even reroll for good units we wanna start with. New players would just find another game than Grind this game at the start. Not enough freebies and it feels like a pay to win game.
Been playing off and on for years, never gets old!! Best game ever made screw the haters thats all their good for nagging and picking.
We really like this game . Have been play for 3.5 years. The grinding progress is boring at the beginning but it start to have fun when you plan ahead and start specific build for each mech and pilot combination. Then begin to climbing rank. Thank you for the game. Not much game detail and use brain to make your team work out. The mech design is perfect.
Saw this randomly and love the whole Gundam style mech fighting. Very cool concept. Like that we can just watch and help by focusing on a certain enemy. Maybe a tip. Add a joystick or something. Not a fan of the drag to move. However, Im not overly critical because its not the main focus of the game. We enjoy this. Lets see how many people play it to keep it going.

Ive been playing this game for months and this game is actually fun. Very good animation and and we love how the mech fight for you. We do wanna see some more cool mechs and characters that are in anime just like Simon. We would buy calab anime mech and characters. One issues is stamina. Its hard to more since we always use them so quick through storyline and events. If we had more stamina ill stay up hours grinding this game.
We love this game but we have a f2p team as team 1 and a p2w team on our 2nd and its nearly impossible to win any arena matches. The stories and characters are amazing and the builds you can make are fun but ya only issue with the game is the dam hardcore p2w 4 our f2p bots/pilots should not be losing to 1 bot having 60% health remaining. We came back to the game after a year or 2 and these paragraph long chassis are insane.
Been looking for a decent mech game and this one is fairly simple and the mechs are really cool looking.

A fantastic game. Love how the mecha designs all correspond to a similar design based on their organization of origin such as Valhallas sleakness, Byrnes more body but techno look, or the roundness of the empire. One of the best mecha mobile games even though it doesnt play like a traditional mecha game en/jp. Wish there were more cockpit skins but thats completely a desire and not a downside at all. They could tweak this into a human version.
How come the English servers dont get the 300 free pulls the Japan servers got? The English servers are so hard behind. The game is good but we wish we had the same privileges.

The game is pay to win spend money get stronger. Also bad ai half of the time doesnt even know what to do.
The game is awesome but sometimes you want to fight with bosses game crashed and you lose your diamonds or anything you put on that match please fix this problem.

Ive been playing this game for over 2 years straight, every day almost every hour logging in. Its the best Mobile Game for mecha fans out there without a doubt. Intense PvE and PvP endgame activities. Multiple collaborations with your favorite mecha series ranging from sleepers like IceyX to most popular like Gurren Lagen (Except for Ultraman, Cowboy Bebop and Gridman for global server, thank netflix) loving game devs and communities that help you out regardless of the server youre on because we are all mecha fans. As a F2P Player the grind is harder but not impossible. Even P2W players will have trouble with endgame activities. Itll start off slow but youll be raining in mechs, pilots and other stuff once you dedicate your time into the game. Ive heard Iphone/Pad has trouble server wise but once the updates are downloaded and whatnot, youll be running smooth. Any questions or concerns dont be afraid to join their discord and ask!! Veteran players will always be there to help out. Even the Top 100 PvP players will be there.
If youre looking for a limited control mecha gacha to play where youll get stomped by cash cow P2W players this is for you. Collecting the mechs and strategizing pilots/mechs teams is a lot of fun, but typically only 2 – 5 viable teams as far as being competitive in arenas. So if youre ok with being F2P its a fun collection grind of cool mechas. The devs do a good job on mixing content and telling us a very confusing story line, which you dont always get in gacha games. Lots of limited fun that has kept interest more than most gachas.
We keep getting connection lost errors making this game unplayable. Its definitely not our connection.
The art is nice as are character designs but once your screen goes black, it stays that way. You close the app and open it, goes to black screen and goes no further. Needs to be fixed.
Why does your game crash so much on IPhone have no problems on android but on the iPhone cant even do the new Wu Shang event.
When we started the game we got promised that we could choose to at least 3 pilots and whenever we chose them we went to prologue but we never got em Felt kinda disappointed in that; if the game tells us you cant right now we get it but it didnt say that lol dont trust this game much lol.
We have an IPhone 6 Plus and we cant enjoy the game because its constantly crashing.
Dont waster your time or money on this game. Stuff is too pricey and the gameplay doesnt feel you as a player are playing. The mechanic for the seem more like automatic play. We would give it a 0 stars.
Its a fun game, we do our dailies on it easily enough. Takes time to grind out characters to try, discord community is fantastic tho for help. Its a good game and is something you can put down and pick right back up again.

Iron Saga has produced on mobile one of the most captivating and in depth experiences any mecha fan would be looking for. Though it may for a majority have A.we. Running your team for you by a wide variety of pilots with strength based on a setup of parts you apply to each mech, it offers a chance to play any acquirable mech individually with an on screen controller in its combat simulation stages. There are a plethora of events and plenty of in game rewards given that make playing whether you purchase anything or not, enjoyable.
Iron Saga is a great game with consistent updates and consistent events, including collaborations with other series. From classics like Mazinger to more recent series like S.S.S.S Gridman and Gurren Lagann, this game has some of the most crossovers Ive seen in any game. And even if you dont like the auto battle system, they have multiple game modes available, including one where you can pilot your own mechs and get to control them personally in a fight against hordes of enemies. This game is everything a mecha enthusiast can dream for, with great designs, story, and even music, with some tracks being composed by the one and only Hiroyuki Sawano (who even has their own inspired character!) Give it a try.
The game mechanics and stories are surprisingly deep. Good art but some translation needs work.
Great music and cool mechs, slow start but game really opens up team building and different game modes once you get higher level.
Amazing game! Takes a bit to get used to it but once you put in the time it will be worth it! This game is one of the more complex team building games we have ever played.
Its an easy, fun game with an interesting story having us wish it was an anime especially with the cute characters you see not to mention the rewards you earn for being new is quite nice. We were never fond of games or such involving mechs but this changed our opinion on them. The only bad thing about this game Is the recruit system. Its just a waste of 2000 gems that you worked so hard to get just to have it thrown down the drain Because your not gonna get what you spent it for which is pilots- just some worthless gifts that barely raise up an ounce of affection. You have no idea the amount of frustration we had.

Overall a pretty good game, especially if you love mecha, it has its issues, Like the translation problems in some of the dialogue, how slowly your stamina comes back, the disparity between collab mechs and in house mechs, among other things but the discord community is great and Im getting 300 diamonds for this review , if youre a die hard mecha fan youll love iron saga.
Soo we were trying to make an account in the game and when it came password it said that we needed 6 to 12 characters even though we put the max amount of characters the bar could have.

So been playing for around 4 weeks, and we have so far mostly enjoyed our experiance with the game. Interesting story, great character and mech designs, good voice/music. We don't get full control over our mechs in the battles, but we can at least see them move around and carry out there attacks. F2p for the most part, and while some rewards are decent, what we get from mission to mission is next to nothing in regards to the premium currency or upgrade materials. And the Skins!!!! While very well done, many cost in excess of 1000 of the premium currency… For comparison a 10 pull of rare mechs or characters (in reality ive only gotten 2 characters on a 10 pull, the rest were affection gifts for increasing stats) will cost you 2000 of the premium currency. For something that is cosmetic only we feel its a bit high, but just our opinion. Its an optional feature, but one that can get very costly. Events are all doable f2p, but you will have to grind them. From the 2 events we have seen, each usually lasts a month, so plenty of time to get all the associated rewards. The game like all f2p is a GRIND when it comes to trying to get the more rare mechs and items, but is fun overall.
If your game has a forced pointer finger tutorial in 2020 it doesnt deserve to be played by anyone.
Ive been playing this game for over a year now and do not put this game down. The fact that this is a phone game and its this good is amazing! Sure the grind is really a GRIND when it comes to getting certain things but to us that make it worth it. We play on iPhone and have never had a crash or anything even close, another solid thing about this game is that you can get EVERYTHING from the grind. You dont have to pay for one thing as long as you play the game. The amount of mechs and pilots you can get, not to mention the pilots/mechs you can get from events is just outrageous theres so many. Which leaves plenty of room for your team to be as unique as youd like. All in all we love this game and would give the greater a big five on this. Btw Im a real person haha.
Very free to play friendly, although it does take TIME and some grinding. Completing chapters and getting all the stars grant massive in game premium currency and leveling up gives a lot too! Devs are generous and events are very free to play friendly! Battle pass gives the most bang for your buck and helps push you to get those OP banner mechs. DO NOT use pilot gatcha unless its the new player one where youre guaranteed one of your three pilots you pick: recommend Slokai as one of them! Also the SSS vassago unit is very good later on in its plane form and future kai! Only con is that is can get very addicting and grinding rare mechs and parts can be a pain. Id overall recommend this game to anybody and say its player friendly though you might want to check out Reddit for mech guides so you dont feel youre team is bad early game.
Of course this game is quite p2w if youre trying to reach to the top of the arena, but its fun collecting the mechs and pilots. Though the mechs are the p2w factor which makes it not so fun, pilots you will eventually get them all, but it will probably take months to get more than half of them. The game is fun if you play for a while and get lucky now and then pulling mechs.
Game is very F2P friendly. PvE comp can be built easily with available mechs. PvP can be done with F2P mechs until the very top. It just takes good planning and knowledge of team building. Youll get a lot of pilots over time as well. Think of this game as a football manage / team builder style game.
Very f2p friendly and quite enjoyable story. Characters are all unique and have lots of interaction. Mechs are plentiful and have great designs. Mechs beside gacha only are easy to get once you learn a bit more about the game and theres plenty of freebies over time. This is a gacha game to a degree so if you want your favorite mechs itll take time saving up for 5 duplicates for max rank of it. There are multiple ways to get copies of most mechs so it isnt too bad, even for premium gacha only mechs but takes time. If you do wish to be competitive in pvp f2p its possible but takes effort. Game has lots of ways to make your mech teams stronger by the trinity of upgrades: pilot, mech and parts equipped. Co-pilot equip at higher level adds a bit more variety on builds. Overall fun game to leisurely play or play consistently often.
Need more voices especially for poor aya shes so fragile but the game overall great but missing some voices and we would love to hear aya voice.
Need to fix Arena rewards for it never show that you win anything at all but other than that the game is awesome.
Mech collecting was amazing. Drop rates seem very rough sometimes although we have collected some main drops. Waifu collecting is nice although we have done a 10 summon with no pilots acquired and you get nothing good if it isnt a pilot. With mech summon you at least work towards a selector with each summon. Gameplay was good, Pilots and Mechs have diverse passives and skills, and gears can be unique. This game will have you collect many duplicates to upgrade a unit though. Also the game requires a lot of patience. You need to collect materials daily for upgrading. Sadly taking 2 points off because game cant seem to run well on our Iphone 6. Ive had at least 150 crashes in total and have decided Im done with it since we cant even go through the menu screen sometimes or use strong units because their attacks breaks our game. We had spent a good amount of real cash and havent even been able to get our wanted mech either.
The gameplay, character/mecha design, events, music, and even mini games are all top tier perfect stuff. Id give this game a 5 star rating if it werent for the jarringly abysmal English translation thats so bad its almost an insult to anyone who speaks English. The story is as top tier as everything (or so Ive heard) but well never know since the translations are so cheap and bad that its barely readable. We want this game to last long but we wonder how well itll do if it keeps turning off new prospective players with the insultingly bad translation that leaves tutorials and story reading hard to understand. Please fix the translation, this game deserves better and would be a percect 10/10 with proper legible English.

Good graphics and sound. We know some who play this really as an afk kind of game but it is not for us. The reason lots okay it as an afk game is either poor controls or a poor explanation on how the controls work. Story seems like they made an effort. But we wanted more control over the mechs.
