It doesn't do anything beyond the basic bejeweled of long ago. Mo special gems for getting 5 in a row, etc @ the only way to earn pearls is thru advertising to ur friends. No thanks. It's fun & mindless @ sometimes that's exactly what we need.
Fun, but we get bored after 10 min. But still fun.
Simple, but enjoyable. We especially like the relaxed mode, so we can play it during commercials, and then let it sit during our shows. Don't forget to use your pearls.
Music in the background maybe…..needs something.
We love the game but the main problem is theres no music. The music we remember when we were a kid was soothing and had us thinking about it and now its not there. We try google searching it but nothing. Please bring the soothing music back we miss it.
We wish it would show what we missed when we loose. Wish there was a way to get more points.
Its a fun game. Nice to have a choice of either times or just relaxing. The only thing we would online to ask is instead of the game being an automatic clear after you clear a matching set, just let us manually clear a set. Automatic clearing doesnt leave us with a longer game. We hope that made sense. But again. This is our morning game with our coffee. All the best.
This app makes obnoxiously noises during game play. (Really, why do app developers think people like this?) we could not find settings at all. So turning off the noise was not an option. We have many apps, and all others have settings you can find.

Like other games by this developer, this is well done. Both the timed mode and the relaxed mode are enjoyable. Easy to pick up and play when you have a few minutes. Thank you for a great game thats not greedy … There are no IAPs and the banner ads dont get in the way of playing. We would pay a small fee to nix the ads, but its still ok as is.
We love this game. Unlike so many of the Boy Howdy jewel games, this one does not progress in difficulty from level to level. So you dont go through the typical progression into frustration and delete this game. It is instead a challenging game without being evil. The graphics are very pretty. Over all, it is our favorite of the Boy Howdy jewel games.
We play Beach Jewel everyday, sometimes for hours. You can play to relax or you can race the clock. This game doesnt interfere with our iPad, the banner ads are in a good place and we love playing.
We have three Boy Howdy games and this one is the most recent one. We have already become addicted to it and have spent many hours playing both modes. Either relax and take your time making matches or race the clock for some excitement, you wont be disappointed.

We love this game! It's both visually and auditorily appealing. We play it every day.
We enjoy playing this game; however have not yet discovered how to turn the sound off other than muting the device.
Very enjoyable. The only frustrating part is the seeming randomness of why, or when, you get the "Game Over" message. It doesn't appear to be tied to how many minutes you have been playing, nor the score, as far as we can tell. Annoying if you can clearly see that you haven't run out of moves…apparently, the game gets bored with you.
It is a cute game but it runs too slow. And when you switch the jewels to make a match it's almost like they are stuck to a sticky substance that is keeping you from moving them. Not keeping it.
The game isn't difficult to play so in that sense it's ok … BUT there's NO way to turn off the sound which makes it a non-option for our game play. It got removed from our device.
Really wish you could mute however, we prefer our music in background. Great for winding down.

No point it's repeated over and over no levels.
Annoying sounds. Difficult to figure out how to play. Deleted it! We have tried the Boy Howdy yatzee, word jewels, mahjong, and black jack games. They were great games.
No way to turn off the sound if you want to listen to your own music.
