A Glimpse into Jumbline 2
Meet Jumbline 2, the most addictive word game in the App Store. Scramble and twist your brain to make words from jumbled lines of letters. Simply rearrange the scrambled letters into words, and underline them with your finger to score points; find and underline the largest word and you advance to the next level.
Play in a relaxing un-timed mode, or put your skills up against the clock in timed rounds.
Jumbline 2 includes two additional games: Cloud Pop and Star Tower. In Cloud Pop, your goal is to pop as many clouds as possible, by spelling words out of the letters carried in each cloud. In Star Tower, your task is to build the tallest tower you can, before it sinks into the ground, by making and staking words out of an infinitely jumbled line of letters. The larger the word, the slower your tower sinks, so scramble and twist your brain to think big!

We love this game. If orc is on your list of words, yar should be, too.
Gets you thinking outside the box for words.
We have quickly become addicted to this game. Even though we have pressed the button to get games containing 7-letter words, Im still only getting words with no more than 6 letters. Is there a level we need to attain before getting 7-letter words? Thanks.
We’ve played this game for years and we LOVE it. It allows our brain an escape from the daily stresses of life. However, we really dislike that so many of the large 7-letter words are non-English. We have nothing against foreign languages, but we dont know any and to get stuck on a word only to find out its not English is frustrating. Maybe there can be an international version thats a different app? We also recommend that you create some kind of skip or hint to go on to the next round if you cant guess the largest word. Otherwise people will get stuck and give up on the game altogether.
This game not accepting words that we have spelled out. When ending the game found the words that it did not except.
An ad after each round? And they have a tendency to redirect you to another page! Extremely annoying!
Instructions for playing this game would be nice Never played before.
Too many ads makes us want to find another game to play.
Update: This used to be an all time favorite, but since they increased the ads to where theres one between each level, we play much less frequently. Wish theyd go back to the old method. We’ve been playing this game for years. We’ll take a break from it now and then, but it’s consistently in our top three favorite games that we’re playing at all times. Love it!

We just got a word Conner and definition was a proper name for Dennis Conner? Also, some words are common only to those who live in Europe.
We played this for years and enjoyed immensely; but then they increased the rate and length of the ads so much that we rarely play it. Then when we do open it, Im reminded why we stopped playing it. We understand that the developer(s) need income, but they have gone way over the threshold. Ill probably delete this game the next time we open it.
Great game but ads showing caveman and woman in a pond naked and French kissing, then another caveman jumping in with them, is not cool for our girlfriends 10yr old daughter.
This app doesnt recognize that anal is a word. We cannot abide such pearl clutching censorship, so we’ve deleted it.
We love this game. We have played a ton of word games on iOS but most that claimed to allow you spell all possible words for your letter tray usually had a very limited vocabulary and it was extremely frustrating to play them. Jumbeline 2 has the largest vocabulary of any of them we have played, save only Scrabble. It does have some weird choices of words it supports and makes distinctions that that seem odd but the are tolerable enough. The example here is that they allow the words orc and orcs and the dictionary says something to the effect of a fictional creature from Lord of the Rings trilogy. If that is the distinction then why stop at orcs and not include other words such as ent etc. At any rate its a small quibble. Probably our only other observation is that the game seems to forget that we have accomplished many achievements, especially when restarted so when we start a new game we get rewarded over and over again which for some reason bothers us but that probably says more about us . Love the game and highly recommend it.
Makes one remember words you may not have used for a while, or forgotten how to spell. If you check expert level, youll need to know words from multiple languages. Good fun.
If youre using the old Jumbline 2, DONT update! Theyre using an old Developers trick. The update is the same app except they truckloaded it with pesky, disgusting ads. If you dont want the ads, then pay $1.99 and youll get back your same old Jumbline 2 with a plus sign (+) at the end, just to give the appearance of a new app. We paid for the app years ago and still use it occasionally. Its a Five Star app. We would never update it. Ever.
Excellent game to keep your mind sharp!
We have been playing this game for years and have always loved it. Its challenging and makes us think. It was one of the games we could play without being bombarded with ads. The few that popped up were short and we could live with it. BUT recently thats all changed. It seems like your making up for lost time. Theres an ad after EVERY SINGLE GAME. Granted you can X out of most fairly soon, but they are very annoying. So much so that Im considering deleting the game and that makes us very sad. It really is the best word game out there, but the ads are TOO MUCH! Im so disappointed. You went from a 5+ to a 3 in our books.
This game has been a favorite for as long as we can remember as far back as playing Text Twist on the computer… Until about a week ago, the ads would pop up every 2-3 minutes between a round. Suddenly, the game starts playing ads between EVERY round, regardless whether it takes 20 seconds to finish or time expires at 2 minutes. We emailed about this and they responded with pretty much, Too bad, so sad… Upgrade if you dont like it. We got one better… DELETE. Too bad, we really liked this game.

Love this first thing in the morning. Wakes up our brain.
We used to play a game called text twist on our phone ,but this game is much better because you actually get to see the words youve already guessed instead of guessing the same word over and over. Great game and the background music is awesome.
Recently words are too complex.
… But with the infinity time limit, we improve! (It May be a little nerdy, but we take screenshots of our winning entries after we complete a level. That way, we have a reference for future rounds.) Enjoy!
We love this game but lately you are using words that no one knows or are used in some dialects etc. This makes the game less fun because almost any combination of letters can make a word. We have stopped playing it. We need to update this review. We actually got an email from the developer saying we had inadvertently clicked the expert word game rather than classic. Our mistake. So nice they get 5 stars for a great game and great communication!
We love this game however, lately they have added such disgusting advertising for a game that is unfit for kids. We play this game with our grandchildren and now we cant because of these horrible ads.
This app may have been designed for children, however, it sure keeps this grannys mind working. Im zeroing in on 5,000 points.
This is hard and takes time but its perfect because you can learn words.
Allows play with no signal. Option of five, six, or seven-letter words. Only possible downside, ads after every round. Still an advantage over texttwist, however, as ads come AFTER the round, instead of interrupting in the last thirty seconds and killing your game.
We enjoy spending spare time with this game. You can stop stop anytime & return later.
We play this game while waiting in airports or doctors office. Also before bedtime.
We entered this review a few days ago: Yesterday, we loved this game. Today, there are truly obnoxious ads. Ill check back in a week to see if theyre gone. If not, Ill try another game. We havent seen that ad again. Most ads are innocuous. We enjoy the game and am getting better at it, which, we hope , means Im exercising our (74 year old) brain.
Im not sure how a one star was on here under our account with no review. We have had this app for years and always enjoyed it. We apologize to the developers if it was detrimental to their ratings. We have fixed it now. PS we play this game daily. Only suggestion would be to add some method of tracking best score. Also new users should know tech support is very prompt and helpful.
A real mental challenge. Keeps you thinking and on your toes. Worth the workout. Tracks your progress.
Please keep growing the game however you can.
