This is the only game we’ve played that had a personality. It spoke to something in us. And when creating art, we think that is very important. This game isnt just a button tapping game. Its like an ongoing conversation with the game.
This game immersed us for the better part of 5 hours. The only thing we didnt like about the game was the pottery. Screw pottery man.

Saw a guy complain about the boring mini games within this game. Despite this game advertising itself as just a button. If you downloaded a game like this that was advertised as such, there is no reason you should be mad that the surprise mini games are boring this is an incredible game not only because of the surprise mini games, but also because of its ability to stay below one megabyte. That is incredibly cool.

This is a game that surprised us we thought it would just be another simple press the button and something happens game but it was so much more it actually created a narrative and got surprisingly philosophical, our best advice to anyone reading this go in blind and check out the community when its time (you will know when)

Great game 5/5 SPOILERS At the part where Herold asks what our favorite word was we said defenestration knowing it from a video we watched a while ago, once hearing Herolds favorite word was also defenestration we got scared and wrote this review. Good game.
We dont know what we expected with this game when we got it, but when we got it we were pleasantly surprised, is fun because almost as soon as things start to get boring there is a new aspect. It also isnt just clicking, there are mini-games that take thought and a little bit of effort, then the narrator Harold is a fun chatter. 100% recommend if youre bored and looking for a fun story!!
This was super satisfying. We wasnt expecting the narrative or locations, or side tap games. Super duper fun. We just got lost for a few hours. We will likely end up buying Idle Acorn while its on sale.

Its a good game and it does what it advertises. Its a button that you click you can turn the stuff off we mean audio in the settings menu and if you actually read what the game is meant to be it literally calls itself repetitive, so we really enjoyed the game. And yes it is repetitive but we like it.

This game is the magnum opus of the App Store. It is truly life changing. The feature to link dark mode is incredible. Our life is complete. If only there were more stars.
We like this game. You probably noticed due to the five stars. The only issue is that we cant seem to figure out how to get the last two snapshots. But over all, never boring.
We love this game. At first we thought it would be nothing more than tapping a button and watching the counter increase; still, the reviews encouraged us to download it. For the first hour or so we constantly got frustrated at how many times we had to tap or how we failed the different segments. Yet, as we continued, more and more of the story unveiled. We just finished and we are stunned by the ending. This is a work of art and we are so grateful for this experience. We related it to training alongside monks in the snowy peaks of an ancient mountain: it is just that enlightening.
So our main question here is is there anything after 1B? We never found the last two pictures because the hints were a bit too hard to get, and we dont know if we can do anything with the artifacts because if we click them the symbols do change which mean they have to have some meaning, and on that topic what do the symbols even mean? It just makes no sense after the 1B point but other than that its a great game.
Over the course of playing this game, we can tell you first hand that there were many times we just wanted to give up. But Herold is what kept us going. We wanted to know what was at the end so badly that it didnt matter how many hours we spent playing the game or how tired our fingers got from tapping. This is not a game suited for people who need to have an end goal in sight, but rather for players who enjoy a storyline no matter how long it takes to come through or someone who is in it for the experience and has no worries about the time spent playing. Overall, its a pretty wholesome game and definitely a time-consumer for those who need a distraction. It also brought up a lot of challenges, which is definitely for a game of such endurance.
The game may be hard to sit and play through for your average person, but trust us, you need to play through the whole thing. Go through it, but dont forget to enjoy it as well. Enjoy the memories you’ll be looking back on while playing this game. 9 223 372 036 854 775 807.
