We love this game but we dont like the new Hotel level. You have to pay for it which is different from the rest of the game. Also we have had Mumu for weeks and she hasnt done anything but stare at the sky and play with her little gadget. We have nothing on our task list so now we cant do anything. The rest of the game was great tho.

Kikis Vacation Review First off, a tip for noobs: tap on everything. Bushes give shells. Tapping on signs and buildings can bring you to new areas. And now, we will try to give a review without spoiling the story for other players. Note that with a paid subscription and in-app purchases for shells, you can progress rather quickly through most of the story. But… We’ve played this game daily for about 2.5 months, we’ve made a couple of in-app purchases for shells (the in-game currency), and we’ve purchased the VIP membership two months in a row. While the subscription is affordable (thanks devs!), we will not make any further subscription purchases for this game, and we will not recommend this game to others. There are a few reasons why. REASON ONE: The biggest reason why we will no longer subscribe is because of the ADS. Even as a paid subscriber, almost EVERYTHING requires the player to sit through full length ads to receive bonus shells. Every time we open the game (which is usually hourly) to collect shells, Ill have to sit through at least five 30-second ads. Why is that?! Im a subscriber! In every other game we play, the monthly subscription purchase allows us to SKIP ads. Thats really just greed on the developers part. Subscribed members should be able to skip ads automatically – in fact, it shouldnt be a choice; tapping on something to collect shells should automatically reload the screen and skip the ad completely. REASON TWO: tapping to collect things is difficult in some places. Artifacts on the screen overlap, and instead of collecting what you want to collect (usually ONE SHELL or ONE PIECE OF TRASH…), you end up starting dialog with one of the characters, most of which is completely useless (the talking tadpoles in the Town do nothing, but always block shells and when you tap on them, they say gibberish…). And while were on the topic of character speech… REASON THREE: TYPOS!!! Someone really ought to print out ALL of the verbiage and dialog in the game and run it by a copy editor. There are quite a few misspelled words. We realize some of the dialog is slang, but the other, more obvious mistakes make the game look sloppy and lazily put together. Even some of the slang doesnt sound like it is used correctly. We’ve taken many screenshots of these mistakes, but have nowhere to upload them to share. REASON FOUR: Some of the content in the game is inappropriate. Some of it is downright racist (friendos instead of friends or amigos, the use of the term coons, etc.). Im not sure if this game is aimed at teens and young adults with the fake social media app tie-ins (pik pok instead of tik tok, meowlife instead of Instagram or twitter?), but its really poorly put together and its sad to see these racist caricatures and grammar mistakes in-game. The game is rated 12+. REASON FIVE: The shaved polar bear. Whats the story with this guy? Why is he making suggestive motions with his frozen treat? Why are his man-bits showing? Very strange, and no indication what to do with him… REASON SIX: The story has stalled completely. Nothing new has happened in awhile, making us think Im getting toward the end of the storyline. Within the game, we have: 149 of 165 selfie photos. These are like in-game achievements, we guess. 19 of 20 stars (Im not sure what these are for or how we got them… The game didnt explain them at all). 22,000 shells saved up, and at this point, the story isnt progressing. The in-game merchants have had the same things for sale every day for the past week-and-a-half, which is really annoying. We already have multiples of each item, and you can only request new items once per day (i.e. Reload the items in the store, which requires… You guessed it! WATCHING ADS.) we’ve tapped on every thing and every character in every location within the game multiple times to try and find the next step. Nothings happening. JUNGLE: we cant open the night club. How do you get in? Who knows? Collect extra shells from the monkey? WATCH ADS. The pik pok jaguar children? Now they just sit around and mumble to themselves. HOTEL: we cant get the lady with the stamps to do anything. The bellhop keeps asking for shells as a tip, which we always give to him. Whats that for? Who knows? Another staff member keeps saying something about a ladder. Where is that ladder? Who knows? PLAZA: Nothing ever happens here. Is something supposed to happen here? Who knows? BEACH: we’ve only seen the thing in the water once, but that led nowhere. How do you continue that part of the story? Who knows? How do you continue the digging puppys story? Who know? SHACK: Whats with the cow? It doesnt do anything? Who knows? The submarine guy? Who knows? Collecting extra shells from the pelican or the weird vampire girl? WATCH ADS. Collect extra shells from the cloud or the blimp or the plane? WATCH ADS. ADS. ADS. ADS. ADS. ADS. Yes, even as a paid subscriber. So annoying.
Overall we have definitely enjoyed this game and its characters and the overall story. However, now we find that we spend most of our time collecting shells because theres no more story. Once you help most of the hotel guests and the Jaguars in the jungle, the story comes to a standstill. And it seems like there will be more storylines (whats in the mysterious ruins in the jungle?) or maybe something on the mountain, but other than that, its starting to get boring.
Love this app! However its weird with the task to-do list and not knowing how to accomplish that. We also have the membership for the hotel but it will no longer let us buy anything from the hotel even though we have the membership to purchase.
We usually like idle games but we personally didnt like this one as much. Didnt really resonate with the humor, however its a cute game overall, just wasnt our style.
We really like this game we’ve played it for a couple months and am working on the mountain area. Anyways there are a few things we have been wondering. One then bartender game is so confusing we dont know what to do to get shells. Two we’ve bought a lot of the items yet they havent been used yet even though Im in the right area with the hints. And third we would love it if you could customise something. Like her hut or outfit or get a dog or cat and customise that. Those are all our questions and ideas. Thanks.
We think we broke the game? We’ve been playing for a while now and we’ve cleared out our tasks but am we supposed to get more?? After we finished the surfing lessons we stopped getting tasks. We still get random moments where we have an items and someone Reacts but other than that, no tasks. We’ve also received the guitars and mics for the spa keeper and her assistant which was kind of random to see them use it tonight. We thought that was for the bats in the jungle lol. Speaking of, when will we receive the instruments to get into that place?
This game is really great! But its kinda stiff. We really like the style and the art but everything is super slow. Maybe if there was an hourly thing but other then that idk what could make this game better.
If youre looking for an adorable stress relieving game, this is it! Kiki and her friends are SO CUTE, plus the adult jokes & themes make it more relatable than youd expect. This game is a cute way to distract you from the real world, we highly recommend if you struggle with anxiety.

We love this game so much because its fun and you get to get shells to buy stuff you get to find out things and right now Im trying to save up to clean up the beach but we only bought this game a couple of days ago it is super fun we think you should get it.

This developer GETS mobile games. In a market flooded with the same three games rehashed strategy battle games, idle clickers, and match games these games are: a) aesthetically and artistically-pleasing, without feeling derivative and kitschy b) not overly demanding of our time or money in order to be able to enjoy them. Every day, we go back to an island for shells and explore a little bit, bake some buns, or throw some ingredients into a cauldron in three separate apps from this developer and then Im productive in our day after we had our fun. Its not another grinding game where you stare at the same game for hours without end and forget you have something to do. And microtransactions arent a wall; you can get nice premiums and/or regular game items quicker if you pay, but it does not demand money to be able to enjoy the game; mostly just patience. Download this app. Download a few of their apps. This whole developer brand is a polite, unimposing breath of fresh air in a polluted app market vying for constant attention.
We like the game but it get us out of the game we did have it one time it was fine but it does not work this time.
So Im a person with anxiety. When we downloaded the game at first we didnt like it but after a while we began to like it! Adult humor here and there,fun tasks,etc. Calms us down! Thank you all so so so much for making this game! We love it.
Overall we feel like this game is a wonderful. But to new players we think the tutorial should be a bit bigger so people know when its the right time to do a few of the tasks. Other then this the game is a 10/10.
Everything about this game is cute. The artwork, the music, the characters, the selfies, the arcade games, everything. It brightens our mood for a few minutes at a time a couple of times a day. You may have to spend $1 every so often to buy the better items, but we feel like you get a lot compared to other similar types of games.

We love this game and the first couple of weeks theres a lot to do but after we finished the jungle arc we Havent been able to progress at all. The shop only gives us the same things Over and over so we dont how to continue onto the snowy mountain part.
The game was perfect but now theres a membership part to it limiting our gameplay.
This game used to be our favorite on our phone. We have appreciated the constant new updates. However, the latest asking for a monthly subscription is not for us. If it asked once, we would have 0 complaints. But it asks each and every time we open the app, sometimes more than once. This is not relaxing anymore. Id be glad to pay a one time fee (higher than 2 dollars) for the new content but we wont pay a subscription Im being hassled about.
This game is a cute casual game. Its not something youre gonna sit and play for hours at a time but you will go back and forth with it. We just feel like its lacking. It needs more to do. Its a little too casual for our liking. Maybe some more quests or mini games to play. We know the subscription thing is newer but we dont think this game has enough for a monthly fee so we are just gonna use the free version.
We never write reviews but this app compelled us to. We REALLY wanted to like this game. The reviews looked promising and its visually very cute, however, it feels like Im hardly progressing. Its absolutely slow and thus boring. We wouldnt mind having to play sporadically instead of one long sitting, but its frustrating and disappointing to only get less than a minute of play time. And during that time of waiting, the environment doesnt really change or update until quite some moments later. This game basically forces you to watch ads or complete other tasks to MAYBE be able to progress in the game. Its literally 95% watch ads, 4% checking in for shells, and 1% of actual game play/exploring.
… It moves way too slow for us. Gaining shells takes FOREVER. You might earn 10-15 by tapping on bushes and crabs every day, so affording anything in the shops would take weeks that way. The shops with items that progress the game and/or character interactions also seem to take a really long time to restock. We went ahead and did the monthly sub two days ago, so maybe we just have to give it some time, but so far it doesnt seem to have much in the way of actual benefits. Its still fairly buggy at the moment. We havent been able to access the free shells for a couple of days now. Ill tap on it but nothing happens. Also, watching ads for shells will work sometimes but not all the time, and then it takes another day or more to see the watch-ads offers again. We wish it were easier/quicker to get shells. Id probably be more engaged. At this rate though, Im probably just going to cancel the sub and delete.
The only task we have left is the one that requires the sports bra, the but tiki store has just been respelling the same 5 items and no other sites have any information on the item. Is this a glitch or something because there are other task after this one with gogo but we cant proceed at all. @hyperbeard. Com.

Its relaxing and a lot of fun, but it does get a little agitating waiting to complete tasks. Also maybe theres more you could add like when shes at her shack, maybe she could have to option to sleep if were waiting for the next day and theres nothing else to do. Maybe a few more fun options added. But overall its great!

We Love playing Kiki life, its a cool game!
Its absolutely one of our favorite games as we have a horrible attention span so we enjoy being able to play it for a few minutes every so often through the day but we are lost because we got the sushi knife early and so when Boris said he needed it we gave it to him and it got checked off our list but hes still crying and asking for it but we havent seen any other glitches besides that.
It says in the description that this game is not people under 13 but theres no inappropriate parts. The worst it gets is smoking but thats pretty much it. Btw the game is cool.
We’ve been playing for about 3 weeks now and never had a problem until we unlocked the jungle. Since then, our task list doesnt update and some rewards from the arcade game wheel dont show up in our inventory. Dont get us wrong, we love this game and all its cutesy details, but we wish everything would run as smoothly as it did our first week playing.
We played this game pretty early on, cant get to the plaza early, but lost it when we switched phones. Glad we came back. One bug though is on the prize wheel. You get catnip instead of chips. We dont know if that always happens, but it usually does for us.
Obviously it isnt the worlds best game But its not the worst.
Its ok! We’ve been playing for 5 months and Im kind of disappointed. Theres not that much to do and whenever you play ads it never gives you your shells! It gets boring real quickly. We know they added mini games but the mini games are hard and they just arent fun. Its been 2 months since something exciting has happened in the game.. And tbh we dont expect anything to happen anytime soon.
