What will happen if my character dies
Your character will respawn in camp after death. However, there is a chance that you may lose your backpack and equipment.
You can return to the place where you died and reclaim your items by tracking the mark of your dead body on the map.
If other players get to the mark first and take the items before you, then you will not find any items there. You will not lose any items if you die in camp.
