Move over Solitaire, there’s a new king of card games! King’s Corner, or Kings in the Corner, is a great game for all ages—easy to pick up and endlessly entertaining. And now, refreshed for iOS 13 with support for Dark Mode and more, King’s Corner 2.5 is better than ever.
Play on your own with an AI that’s as challenging as you like: one to three opponents can miss moves while you’re still learning and be laser-accurate once you’ve mastered the game. Play with friends online via Game Center or in a group with our all-new pass & play mode that’s all the fun with none of the shuffling and dealing.
King’s Corner 2 features new animations and a completely redesigned interface, new achievements to give you more to work towards as you hone your skills and strategize (or just get lucky!) and, as always, it’s fully compatible with VoiceOver so players with limited or no vision are welcome.
Here’s how the game works:
King’s Corner uses the same basic rules as games like Solitaire—cards are placed in descending order and in alternating colors. A red 9 can be played on a black 10, or a black ace can be placed on a red 2.
The deck is set up with 8 spaces around the deck; four king spaces (marked with a crown) and four unmarked spaces. You’ll get a new card at the beginning of every turn, and the goal of the game is to get rid of your cards first by making as many of the following types of moves as possible:

Add a card to any existing stack

Move a card or stack in one unmarked space to the bottom of any other card or stack. King stacks don’t move, since there’s nothing higher than a King.

Start a new stack if there’s an empty space on the table. Only kings can start the corner stacks, but any other card can start a stack in one of the four unmarked spots.

We sent you have trouble clicking the new game and end up with a different game. Then we have to delete it so we can begin playing the solitaire game again.

We played kings in the corner as a child with our grandparents. We thoroughly enjoy the digital version.
Our grandma taught us how to play king in the corners when we had the flu and after she taught us how to play we played constantly constantly and constantly and now Im a master at King in the Quarter in the scheme helps us practice our king in the corner game.
This app is so much fun. Simple to play yet challenging enough. Download and give it a try. You wont be disappointed .
Its a fun relaxing game. Easy to learn and you can play it with friends with real cards. Also, we didnt know you take a new card at the end of your turn and not the start of it. Thanks!
Love this game but still having a hard time starting a game with Game Center friends.
We play this a lot but the problem is that it freezes about every 4-5 games and we have to remove the app and redownload. Annoying.
Fun game, but the computer cheats when you play against it. Seen it dozens of times.
We’ve played this since we were a kid so we love the app! We play solo but no issues with crashes or anything. We wish you could make it compatible with android so we can play on our tablet though!!
This is a favorite card game we play with real cards. This is a fun version of that. We would give 5 stars but , you cant change your mind on a play, once you place that card, its forever. We have lost many times because we missed a play. Need an Undo option.
We looked in multiple places for the rules in case we missed something. We didnt. The place should be like solitaire in that house have to match an opposite color suit and descending numbers. At least 20% of the time, the game will put a card that is either 3 5 numbers down from was is a legal move. And most often when it does that, the game will win. It is a bit annoying but we like the gameplay so keeping it.
The game is fun but the computer keeps cheating and placing cards in the wrong spots like placing an ace on a 7.
Find someone that can challenge us!!!!!!! We know the game cheats but a person cant. We have waited 30 minutes for this app to find someone for us to play. No one apparently can do it. You design the game. You play us!!!!! Im a master at this game! You beat us twice in a row and you already have our respect. Bring it!!!!!!! Find someone!!!!!!!
Im a new player; never heard of this game but since when can an AI place a 10 on top of a QUEEN.. Something is missing here! Im trying to learn this game, but we bet if we try to place 10 on top of a Queen, Ill get slapped down!!!!! A suggestionfor us new guys: have some sort of reference guide to the game. We had no idea until the third game that we could move a STACK onto another stack and we had nothing to consult about rules! This is a pretty neat game if the AI stops cheating. TOO MANY ADS!!!! One ad after each game is too much. We hate boring adssame one after same one. Teach!! ***The AI JUST DID IT AGAIN! AI placed an 8 on top of a JACK!!! REALLY?????? Game need s work guys!
We really enjoy this game. We would like to see it have an undo feature like many other solitaire game versions.
We love playing this game. However often, and we mean often, the computer stacks a random card on a higher card with no sequence whatsoever. If it wasnt for that, Id be all in. Many others have complained about the same thing, so why cant the developers fix it? Whats the point? Weve noticed it, now please fix it. Otherwise, its a great game. We love the simple graphics, the speed a difficulty.
Great game, but unstable when playing with others via Game Center.
Very easy to grab the wrong card! Have lost many times because of fat fingers. An undo function is needed or else make it less easy to grab the wrong card.

Game is great if you want to play alone, if you want to play with friends may have better luck elsewhere.
Its a great game but a lot of glitching while playing with others. And needs an open messaging dialog of communication. Also needs a time limit to end game for a disconnected player to give them a chance to return to game or reconnect.
Wish it had an undo button – if you drop t he wrong card by mistake there is no way to undo you must end your turn – computer generally will always win unless you pick easy mode then its 50/50.
We’ve never once been able to play against online opponents.
All we get when we play this game is all black cards or all red cards which means we cant play any cards so the computer always wins.
We love the game but when we do the multiplayer and try to connect with friend or family it wont stay connected. Please fix it.
Most of the time when we try to play multiplayer it wont show either of us our cards so we cant play and then even when we do play it shuts down the app before we can finish.
Looks nice. End of deck play is broken because players can keep passing back and forth without putting down cards. Multiplayer and Game Center games regularly crash or disconnect. Hame center itself is already a pain so it might take four or five tries to connect and play a full game without freezing or disconnecting. Cant see cards in hand while waiting for opponent to finish turn. This is a strong personal preference and in our opinion makes planning moves more enjoyable and efficient. As it is now it is a solid 2.5/5 app. Ads are redundant and a pain to see constantly flashing, especially ones involving location cookies.
We love this game but it needs work as it cheats horribly. The developer needs to re work it.
We’ve seen several moves that the computer made illegally this is one of our favorite games but Im really disappointed in this app overall.

Cant use anymore it doesnt work with voiceover.
Just download it today does not work with voiceover will not tell us open slots and does not tell us what cards are on the table when Im trying to move a card and doesnt even have a how to play option so we can look at commands we think we might just delete this app not worth our time.
