Community Insight:
This game is the most amazing game hands down. Just was wondering why it never turns night like in your city or on the map.
If someone one day had the thought to combine, GOC, COC, and Sims, PVP is balance but also still freelance & adds a battle pass this game is it. It hits every notch, nook and cranny you would want out of a game like this. The game is so immersive, and very addictive. Only thing we can say, the game is slightly buggy, but not enough to make anyone stop playing Im sure. For example the Grand adventurers armor is missing the knife, or sometimes the sound effects let the arrow whistling when you get a message doesnt always sound off, unless thats a bug in itself or sometimes the keyboard gets stuck in screen and youll have to restart app. But like we said all minor things. The game is huge!! And its exactly what Ive been looking for!!! Keep up the great work!! We would also love to see more connections via Facebook, your own platform like how Clash has Supercell Account connections so you could play across pc maybe. Features like that also enable us to customize our banners more, like uploading images, or just adding more layers. 5 limits the creativity.
So recently we purchased the mighty Marshall role, however no new role showed up, maybe we misread it or maybe not but we cant find it anywhere in the base game.
The game has issues with bugs, which has secondary monetary affects. Additionally, the UI gets bugged out requiring restart. Theres no transfer from iOS to PC unlike with google. Game has great concepts, but support is near non existent and not because they arent there. They respond, they just dont care. Additionally, global chat is a cesspool pool of racism, and toxicity (like most of these games). Lastly, this is not a casual game, its a time sink, it can be fun, but the devs need to fix some issues. When they do, Ill rate higher.
And also has a mulberry outburst we need to go to the clinic.
Its slowly evolving over time and getting better with each update in our opinion. Been playing for about a year now. Definitely the best MMORTSG we ever played. We love how proactive they are about removing Bots and making sure no alts on same shard as players main. They do better at this than most other games that are similar. We would say the most stressful times are merges. But game is very addicting to us and we find ourselves layering daily! >.<.
We wanna say thanks to the men and women in development who work on this game. This game connects people from different religions, backgrounds and countries all over the world to be able to come together and achieve a common goal. Starting off its a pretty good game, the game map is huge and it feels like youre entering another world when you play. Most games of this genre are still using the old square checker board map. The counties have a lot of PvEs so youll definitely stay busy because another thing we like about this game is NO ENERGY CAP, YAY! That alone makes this a wonderful game to play. Having to wait until your energy builds back up or purchase energy to play the game makes us never wanna play the game again. Thank you for that. Something else we like that this game doesnt do is teleport cities. Its not realistic and so un-original. Having to breakdown the base and having some time for it to be rebuilt is the best thing Ive seen in any of the other games of this genre, we think thats more original. Being able to interact in the keep is pretty cool a lot of games dont do that with their castles. Penalties for attacking lower tier players is also great Things that wouldve liked to see in the game is more stats. Players like games that put as much stats in the game to see how you compare with other players, stats that players like to see in this types of games are battles won and lost, attacks won and lost, defenses won and lost, battle win/ loss ratio, troop kill/death ratio, castles destroyed, monster kills, destroyed enemy power, tributes sent, resources collected just to name a few. Something that we felt missing in this game was some sort of arena where you could send nobles to battle. The mobile game Knighthood is a perfect example of something that would fit perfectly in a game such as this one. We wouldve liked to do more in the keep, the mobile game Castles Elder Scrolls is a perfect example of keep interactions and making the keep another part of the game to have fun in, we wouldve also liked to be able to equip champions with equipment like in other games to boost their abilities and change the names of the champions to make the game more personalized. The kingdom needs more buildings in it to take up a lot of empty space, how are the armies healing with out infirmaries and med tents. What about traps, moats, things that they had in that era and other games do have these in their games. The more realistic the better. We wouldve liked to have seen day night cycles rain, snow, tornadoes, who goes through the trouble to put birds and roaming live stock in the game and not add elements to the game to make it more alive and immersive. Water, what army marches without water. Speaking of water how about naval units and islands to trade on and have naval battles to add another element to the game. A game like this has the potential to add even more upgradable troops at least up until the modern era where troops can have muskets and possibly beyond. All these games stop at a certain era in time which is a waste because the potential is limitless with upgrading and keeping players hooked. Things we didnt like about the game the biggest thing was the campaign for the dragon is awful. Its super hard to beat to the point we dont think its meant for anyone to get the dragon lol. We think its put there for a tease. Your finger hurts after so long of dragging your finger across the screen we were so sad because we knew we were giving up on getting the dragon. Its a part of the game Ill never get to experience. We hate those type of games any ways so that didnt help either. Another thing we really disliked about the game was that all those PVEs looking like statues. The PVEs should be more interactive instead of us waiting to attack them they should be attacking us as well periodically wasted opportunity to make the game more interesting. It wouldve been nice to attack a PVE after it sacked a city and took the loot back to its layer and it kept doing until an actual player beat it and was able to take the loot from the PVE and it started the cycle over again just wishful thinking. Overall its an ok game it has potential and room for growth and to morph into something great Im looking forward to see where its headed in the future.
We were enjoying the game. Still in early stages we had built something before it was part of the chapter. And now it wont say its done. Which means we cant go forward. So we deleted it. This game has real potential but still has bugs and glitches to work out.
So its pretty great they work actively on its development and growth, speaking of which, we have a baby in our city that we assigned to the adventuring role however we have no way to change that role (it is still a baby) we think it would be good to add a way to change the role of a baby when you have assigned it to a role that already has all of its slots full.
Always something new. Always something to do. Ive made lifelong friends in the game that Ive now met in person.
Such a great game and soo much to do.
This is a fantastic game, but we wish we could restart without having to go through all that extra hassle.
This game is super fun, but we think the tavern ruins it.
Ive played for a couple of solid weeks and not found any pay walls so far! Its very cutesy and the story will appeal to those with a dry sense of humor. Its a lot at first, but it quickly becomes more repetitive and well paced. Overall nice change of pace from the pay to win garbage we all know and love. City building is how you want it set up. There is pay to win features but you arent penalized the way other games lean towards.
The game was fun for a period of time, but like other reviews have said, this is very much a pay to play game. If you spend a bunch of money your army will be stronger then everyone else and youll be untouchable. There is not a fair leveling system because of the options to buy extra perks for your Kingdom! Sad because it could be one of the best games out there in this genre. Really a shame.
READ ALL OF THIS SO YOU KNOW Dont waste your time on this game ive been on it for two years now and have wasted our time and money on this game for someone whos been on it for two years and has wasted their money and time on it ill have to say they do a really good job at manipulating you to spend money.. Also support does a really good job at not listening to their players.. Without support the game is just a scam.. They dont care about the players but they do care about your money..The game had potential but lost it when they started adding new units (like titans just like every other medieval game like this with dragons as well) we got to Keep level 33.. Each offer in the store at that level is worth $50, $100 and even $200 and thats not even worth for the stuff that you get for that kind of money at that point lets say that you have about 12 armies to fill up with 5-6 battalions slots each with 1,400-1,600 troops in each battalion (if youre nobles are at a certain level and thats another way they manipulate you to purchase from the store and im just not gonna get into that point but we will make it short for ya nobles is what you need in order to have good armies and thats another long grind you gotta focus on).. Well the store offers about enough royal honors for about 1 battalion of troops.. Whats royal honors ? Well its the rewards from attacking armies on the map.. And thats about 7 royal honors for a lvl 32 army that you can attack for a level 34 army it will give you 8 royal honors each time you attack.. Well a full battalion takes about 12,000-15,000 royal honors.. Thats over atleast about 1,500 level 34 armies If you have the time to do all that congrats to you.. We had the time when we were at like a lower level but as you progress and move to a higher level the prices will get higher and the time to grind for one certain section of the game will get even longer theres alot of things you gotta do to get to that point and it took us 2 years by using money thats not even worth it.. Imagine playing for free.. Itll take you about double the time or even more to get to that point.. And once you get to that point in the game.. The game isnt fun anymore All spenders end up in the same alliance or two or 3 and gang up on the free to play alliances and bully them off the game.. Its how all competitive mobile games like this one end up as. To be honest games like these dont last long and end up shutting down because people start to realize how ridiculous the game and devs are. Mining this is another major grinding part of the game youll feel like youve been mining throughout the whole time youve been playing this game gotta ours to get the resources you need to get your city leveled up oh research we forgot too.. Gotta ours certain materials to unlock certain things in the game to help you become stronger.. Purchase and make armor in the armory as well all those materials you gotta ours yeah you gotta refine all those materials too and that takes about 8 hours or more we would say to refine the materials each time and it doesnt give you that much after refining.. It may seem like a fast paced process as you start but as you progress im telling you it will take you awhileeee to get to where we were without spending or even spending.. All those things we mentioned about the game are only a few things that you gotta grind for to waste your time or if ya want you can purchase each of those offers in the store to help you skip that process but at that point if you purchase and skip the process then you wont know how to properly play the game.. People will know youve purchased and that you are a weak whale. Another thing about this game is they care more about spenders than free to play players.. If youre free to play your basically wasting your time.. If youre a spender youre basically wasting both your time and money either way you choose youre basically a slave to the game because im telling you now.. If you have the time and money for this game go ahead but im giving you a fair warning and review about this. Reason we gave 5 stars was how ridiculous this game is and how pathetic the devs/support are. Again this is coming from someone who has played this game for about 2 years now and has put money in this game.. Im moving on and dont have the time or patience to play this game that we would call a scam and a waste of time / money. People that are still on the game honestly are just there for the people and communicating and getting to know new people.. Not the game because they know how much of a scam it is. Yall can do that in person and do that out in reality rather than in a scam type game.. So dont waste your time and money on this. Ive met alot of new people and still talk to them today and plan on keeping in touch with them in the future as well but the game.. Yeah its not worth it. Goodluck to those who choose to waste their time and money on this. Hope you dont end up doing what we did.. Atleast we learned from this and moving on.. The game lost its sparkk and is no longer fun.. Just a scam.. The return on your effort if you do play this is just isnt there anymore.. If you read all of this we appreciate you for taking your time.. Just gave you a fair warning Youll understand and youll appreciate us taking our time to post a review over this game. Just dont want others to end up how we ended up. Sincerely, Sparkk of Treetop.
Best game ever besides new vegas res evil the stick of truth fallout skyrim mario earthworm jim starpoint gemini warlords cyberpunk atom rpg and dying light.
Its not bad. The mix of active interaction and passive build/upgrades is nice. The biggest change we would beg for is a way to upgrade/promote older items/soldiers at reduced costs so that we can more easily improve our armies. The cost discrepancy tends to make it harder to be frequently active on the app as you have to wait for the resources if you dont want to spend $$$. Also, for the interactive campaign map, a preview of expected opponents and weaknesses (maybe a research thing?) so that we can plan attacks and weapon upgrades.
Terrible game dont play it, the gms dont even play the game and dont take advice from their customer base, your just stuck with whatever random cash grab they make up on a day to day basis. Just read the gm responses to these reviews, they make excuses and blame the players for their game being extremely unbalanced. They make no actual effort to fix the problems, and none of them play the game yet tell people the game is fine and great.
The game is fun. You run into some annoyances like with any of these games; guilds people etc. You dont deal with many mega whales, rather normal purchases that you may yourself get. You get into a routine but even then it holds up.
Yo, that ad was sick we want a tv show or a YouTube series or something.
The developers changed the game for the better!! Free to play is alive and well.
Its not like that game at all. Its actually good and is advertised correctly and doesnt lie to you and isnt a paid to play dumpster fire. Jokes aside its actually good we recommend it and we even bought things in it that we did not need to just because it was good.
Really enjoying the game has plenty to do and its easy to get into it really like the customization but wish we could change the color of our troops uniforms to match our house crests as well as heros we definitely see a lot of potential in this game to become something more our only real complaint is a lot of pop up adds for packs trying to get you to buy stuff and the prices are to high but no video adds so thats a huge plus for us you can just close the pop up ones no problem keep up the great work devs but please add more customization for armys and please add player shields next to allies to find them easier in the map with the alliance banner and can we get flags for our own bases it would be nice to feel like Im fully building our kingdom and its ours and not just some minor differences to make each players kingdom feel a little more unique and their own definitely will recommend this game to others 8/10.
Scrap the tutorial is too much almost quit Is not difficult.
The game is fun until you get to the point where it is pay to win. We really enjoyed the game, but they merged shards (servers), and the older players had paid upgrades, like double PvP damage, and basically took all of the fun out of the game. There are lots of layers that make the game complex, yet simple, but theres just no joy in getting beaten by whales.
Love it!!! Best game that Ive played in awhile.
This game is like the future more upgraded, better graphics CoC. You can breed, base build and farm/grind in order to grow without needing to spend a cent! There is NO Perma death so this is actually the only RTS that is NOT P2P and its actually FREE TO PLAY POSSIBLE.
This game is everything RoK wants to be.
We have not stopped playing it for the three straight weeks.
This game is amazing! Its unique in many ways and extremely addicting. We like the battle mechanics, especially how you control the battle and can watch it and gain reinforcements. The family is awesome too with marriages and trait farming. The build and upgrade mechanics make base design creative and fun, often being unique player to player. The alliances are cool too, with capitals and guilds to take and control the area. But we would say that there should be at least one more important alliance role, and another alliance building to go with it. That would add more appeal and complexity to alliances that Im sure many other people would enjoy. For example, there could be a treasurer that deals with the treasury and the amount of tax that is earned and distributed to each member. The dragons are a little tough to upgrade once they get up there due to the dragon stone amount needed for the next upgrade, but we think the dragon is a cool addition. Overall we think this game is great and still has great potential and we have recommended this to friends.
Only continuing to play because of the people we play with. If we didnt play with the group we have we wouldve stopped playing this long ago. Been playing for about a year and can say the devs dont much care about most of their customers and only about the money they make. If you want to be competitive you would have to spend $1000+ just to keep up with others since they make it gut wrenching to grind anything. Literally like having a whole other job. Do not play this.
Hi guys,Ive been playing this game for 2 years and its really fun Ive waited for the dragons for a time and Im very happy its finally released you guys are really doing a great job .It would be more fun if you could assign a noble to to ride them and also give the dragons armor and maybe nobles could also die in battle Game of thrones vibes. Anyways you guys are doing a great job, thanks a lot. Hope you get our message.
Not sure about other people, but our game just goes to black and wont load. Im still trying to figure it out, and it probably just for us, but the small amount of time we did play was very fun. Would recommend.
This is just like rise of kingdoms but better.
We had this game about year ago we uninstalled it because it was kind of stale but there have been great improvements and we think theres room to improve it and make it grow on another note we think they should let us choose a color scheme for our dragon just an idea up to the developers.
We loved the game and play it a lot but we just wish there was an unlimited amount of characters you could have in your house but you can only have 7 witch we hate but the game is really good and fun.
The game is great! There is one disadvantage, there is no Russian language. To us is not comfortable for us to play due to the lack of Russian and our poor English, it would be great if you added Russian in the next update. P. S : we have been asking for almost a year to add Russian, they tell us that they have been informed about this and will add it soon, but they have not been able to add it for a year.
Game does exactly as advertised, just overall very fun game.
The game is so fun just in general but being in a alliance is the best way to experience the game with others.
Great game Ive spent a lot of money on over the years, but the developers have a nasty habit of sneaking in game ruining aspects into updates meant to improve game quality. The developers know how to manipulate and scam players Ill give them that. The game consistently decreases in quality but is still a bit better than others out there. Note to the Developers – Stop ruining aspects aspects of the game that no one complained about and most rather enjoyed.
Cool little funny rpg for passing the time. Good game.
Its hard to play this game with the mentality that Im just gonna chill and do our own thing. The events are extremely competitive. We were mostly a F2P player and then after about 8 months gave in and spent around $120. There is SO much potential for this title to be excellent, but basically if you want to remain competitive whatsoever, you will have to keep up with the Joness. Most serious players are spending easily $100-500 per month on this game. Its absolutely ridiculous. Yes there are no in-game ads, but you literally cant compete for decent event rewards and upgrades without spending. The prices are so inflated. $20 bare minimum for any single purchase of value, and then it ranges from $50 upward. We were very involved in an alliance and in discord and even the official discord with the devs. The dailies take a while especially later in the game, and the COMPETITIVE EVENTS CAN BE SO TEDIOUS.
First thing we want to bring up is that the commentary and conversations between people are hilarious. Honestly, the best part of the game. Its a little different as far as the graphics go, but not necessarily a bad thing. The only thing might have a slight issue with is there is no explanation for combat, from what we can remember. Its more learn as you go. Still a fun game, and Id recommend.
Short review, but its a good, humorous game with lots of great content. The only thing we want is the ability to play offline.
This game is the best, you can actually see your army moving and fighting and if you have problems you can talk to the developers to get them addressed.
Ive haven't played a mobile game that made us laugh in a LOONG while! 10/10.
We cant see our other armies when they join the fight.
Its hard to re-make your kingdom. This game is all about making kingdoms and experiment with different bases, but its hard to change it. We think there should be a mode in building that will get rid of your buildings and then they are be sorted out by level/building type so you can just drag them out so you can re-place your buildings to make it easier to make your kingdom. This will make the game a lot better. This will really help us players experiment with our kingdoms. Thank you for reading.
Kinda lost interest, but Ill be back.
