Description
Throw away your pads and pencils, Clued Up will make you a Clue champion.
Clued Up transforms your messy notes into a crisp table, showing you for each card, at a glance: who’s holding it, who’s not holding it, who’s suggested it, who’s seen it and the likelihood of it being the card in the envelope. All you have to do is enter the details of each turn.
If you don’t want to give your opponents a chance Clued Up can go beyond just a smart scorecard. If you enable automatic deductions the app will cross-reference all of the turns in the game and locate cards for you, going way beyond what a human could achieve.

If you don’t see your edition listed you can use the card set editing feature to create any edition you like and store it in the cloud for others to use.
Instructions
Game Setup:
Enter your name then the names of your opponents in the order they are sitting, starting with the player on your left.
Select if you want the game to automatically locate cards for you. If you select to use this feature, as you record the turns in the game the app will cross-reference the location of cards from all of the player’s responses and deduce for you what cards must have been shown in each go. Be sure that your opponents don’t mind you winning if you leave this switch on (or don’t tell them).
Once you’ve entered the names of the players in the game you’ll be given the option to select which edition of the game you are playing. If you don’t see your edition listed then you can create a new edition. Any edition you create will be stored in the cloud for yourself and other players to use.
After selecting your card set you then have to enter in all of the cards you have been dealt. Enter every card you are holding and then press finish.
Playing the Game:
On the main screen, you have a list of all of the items. Eliminated items are shown in blue, items held by you in green and solved items are shown in red. Underneath the item name, you will see additional information such as who does or does not hold the card, who has suggested a card and who has seen a card. You will also see stats indicating how likely each card is to be the final item as a percentage and with the progress bar under each card.
To eliminate items you need to make suggestions and enter in the suggestions that your opponents make. The app will automatically eliminate a card if it is shown to you and, if you’ve selected to have the game located cards for you, when entering another player’s suggestion, if a card is shown and it’s known that the other two cards in the suggestion are elsewhere or not held by that player the game will automatically eliminate these.
To enter your suggestion you pick the items from the table and press the ‘Your Suggestion’ button. You will ask the player to your left, if they don’t show a card to you press ‘No Cards Shown’ and move on to the next player, if they show a card you select the card from the wheel and press ‘Card Shown’.
To enter an opponent’s suggestion you do the same thing except you select ‘Other’s Suggestion’ and, on the next screen, select the player making the suggestion.
You can manually enter that a player holds or doesn’t hold a particular card by swiping the cell to the left a pressing the Eliminate/Uneliminate button.
The app will tell you when cards locations are deduced and categories are solved.
You can undo your last move if you make a mistake by pressing the menu button and selecting Undo.

Love the app since its update. Saves paper and makes the game goes easier.
We actually play "Cluedo" on our iPhone, and it has a "clipboard" that lets you put things on it, and it puts an x for the weapon, room, and suspect that aren’t held by the players, and a check for who has the card. But this will give you a probability that it’s this or that player, or weapon, etc., based on the info you enter from the game. It helps us to decide who or what we want to check out next. It actually gives the same info as the clipboard, but we like how it’s organized much better. A concern: we were playing an established game, and entered the players as instructed. No problems. We created our own game, for the classic players. It showed "weapons" but later it came up as "rooms". It wants to do it opposite of the app game. We can overlook that, but we entered the players (they were correctly labeled as "players") in the order they should be. Everything was fine, though they looked mixed up on our list–but we remembered that they don’t show up in the order that they go in the game. And one by one, it asked for the correct player after another–until it got to us. Mrs. White should have shown us a card or not, but it skipped her, and then declared that the game was over and what I’d entered had solved it! Not the case. We will try something else. We still like the app! Those who have given bad ratings because they can’t "play" it, or are rating it as a game? They are irrelevant and should be removed by Apple! It clearly states that it is a game "solver" or something like that, and again, when you are reading about it in the app itself, it states that it is not a game! We’re not sure why people are confused about this!
Does above basic job of keeping and finding cards. Don’t expect to win tournaments or higher level gameplay consistently with it tho.
Works easier than the paper method.
What more can we say. Works like a charm every time. Just be sure to get your players in the right order during set up and make sure not to screw up any inputs during other people’s or your own suggestion. One wrong input can ruin things. As long as you’re careful you’ll win.
Nice and a very handy tool to have by your side when in the mist of a game of Clue!
The app works really well for tracking your game notes, but the pro version updates the card sets every time you "create a game" and the process isn’t exactly speedy. Updating card decks should either happen once every time you launch the app or manually. Aside from that it’s a helpful app if you’re a fan of Clue.

We have played Classic Clue and Discover The Secrets. Both worked well & gave us an advantage in the games.
This is our go-to app when playing Clue at any time, it’s a major improvement over pencil and paper. The app is well done, easy to use, intuitive, and is very solid. We’ve never run into any major bugs. However, there is something we noticed that could be improved on. Clue: Master Detective Edition supports 10 players, but the app only lets you imput the names of 6 players which might make things very difficult should someone be playing with any number of players higher than 6. We know it seems like a minor issue, but we would like the option to input more than 6 player’s names. The option could appear when you’re only playing with the Master Detective editon to make it simple. All in all, if you like playing Clue but don’t like using pencil and paper, we highly reccomend this app. It’s well worth the purchase.

Great app, really helpful while playing, but there’s no option for incorrect accusations, which could be cool to see.
If you’re playing original Clue, this app works like magic. It completely eliminates the need for paper notes or crazy strategies. When you play Master Detective, however, the turn system isn’t set up to match the method outlined in the printed rules. When a player makes a suggestion in Master Detective, you could end up seeing multiple cards from multiple players. The app, unfortunately, stops the turn once you indicate the first player has shown a card.
After the big update, the app will not run on our iPhone 6. It crashes whenever you try to play.
Nothing more to say. It won’t start.
Only the 4 sets provided with the app work at all! When trying to access or create a custom set the app freezes. How do you get a refund.

This app helps so much with figuring out the mystery on the board game. We have only lost once with this app (against family & friends) . This app thinks in ways we never did when we were playing by hand with a pen and the mark off sheet . Hope this review helps.
We have not played it yet but it says u need at least 3 players to play.
We’re disappointed that we paid for this app-thought that we were buying the game of Clue for our phone, but this app is just a companion to help you solve the game. Should have read more carefully…
We would’ve given this app five stars but because it didn’t have the exact same cards or game that we have, we had to put all them in myself. We have CLUE the Classic Mystery Game. IT HELP ME SOLVE IT IN NO TIME FLAT THOUGH. We WAS SHOCKED! We really had NO CLUE!
Love the app but hate it when it crashes and we lose ALL info and have to totally restart the game. May as well quit if that happens cause we can’t win when we lose all info :( please fix this problem with an update ASAP.
Love the App!!! But there is one thing that they need to add. When somebody tries to solve the clue and the person didn’t get it right we can’t eliminate the person from the game, and redistribute the cards.
Really? Just how does this app resemble board game? First, it doesn’t even tell you that you MUST HAVE multiple PEOPLE to play… Not just us (you) vs the computer.. Then, it assumes you want to make a guess simply because you didn’t enter the other players card shows appropriately without giving a chance to correct mistakes… LOVE BOARD GAME – app, not so much…
A great app that works but would love the probability percentages next to each card. This would really help when deciding which cards to target in your next suggestion.
Superhuman ability isn’t as good as it sounds. Should only cost $0.99.
So beep up if it stays like this we want a refund if possible. It keeps repeating turns and it is confusing. It’s also overpriced.
