Community Insight:
The game has a great feel to it. We love the gameplay, it has fair difficulty, we especially love the music, and there are generously few ads. Well done, lads.
We love this game. It has a great gameplay. And we understand the work and effort that was put into it, but theres so much potential for Labyrinth of the witch going forward. Its lacking in plot and lore.
But really wish it was a little more forgiving and let us keep items/levels.
Character doesnt keep any levels and some of the challenges are extremely difficult to try and achieve like not using a weapon or shield when you cant keep any the character levels. There are no stat points to attempt to build on your character either.
Often even just forgets to give you rewards. Would recommend something else.
This game is great cant say anything wrong with it. It just great old school gaming is best love it just keep on truck in if you die you lose your stuff and pick your self up off your back pockets and try again simple and straight forward you know your limits do you go back if fight more its up to you make your own legend of the labyrinth.
We have been playing this for a couple weeks now and it is a blast! We have a question about the premium version which we hope the devs can answer. We purchased the premium version of this game to support the developers, and as a bonus we thought continuing in a dungeon when dying would be ad-free, but we still have to watch an advertisement to revive. Is this a bug with premium or was we misinformed about the no more ads? Thank you.
We havent seen anything wrong with this game it brings us back to our middle school years when we were playing red rescue mystery dungeon we love this game so much.
We dunno why but item insurance isnt returning all our items.
The only game that Ive ever played that if the game runs out of ads, you just get the reward for free.
The gameplay us reminiscent of Pokemon Mysterious dungeon and the graphics are SOO CUTE!! Do wish you didnt have to pay real money to unlock other characters.
Us ourselves is a big fan of old style RPG games, and this one really hit the spot. Simple mechanics, lovely animation. We would however want other characters to be purchase through game credits too. But overall a great game.
Generally, when games mix genres, it either ends in an awkward switch mechanic, or something equally hacked together. This game however feels like many in one, though maintains an overall sense of an RPG. It has a fun number of mechanics and dungeons that mesh well together, and we can play it for hours on end. Overall, a very great game, and definitely worth a try.
First of all we adore the art style, its exactly our type. The characters and enemies are cute and everything just looks wonderful. The game mechanic is fun and it reminds us of Pokmon mystery dungeon, which is one of our favorite series of games. We feel that its lacking a motivation though. We would love to see more of a story line in the game, or perhaps a more fleshed out overworld that the player can interact with. Maybe even quests. Right now, other than collecting pets, it feels like there isnt much reason to keep playing.
The challenges needed for a 3 Star Ratting on a level are a bit TOO difficult, especially the NO ITEMS challenge. Id be fine if it didnt count pre-equipped items, but it does. Otherwise its a good game, well worth the trouble.
This a really good game for you to kill time. The sound, the graphic, and control is very charming. Whenever you equip something, it changes your appearance. The only reason we gave it 4 and not 5 is because of the storage that you can store items after you complete a dungeon. The only way to upgrade it is to spend real money. But besides that, the games is enchanting.
Awesome game lots of love and neat attacks but having the option of playing a guy or girl at the start would be nice but hey thats just us.
Love this game. So much fun! One thing that would make it better is if you had an upgrade so players could carry more in the dungeons. Believe it or not, 20 items is VERY LITTLE.
You guys should really implement more taming. An actual team of monsters would be epic. Maybe even add side stories. Talking monsters are always fun.
The only thing this game is missing is being able to stop and leave the dungeons at check points. Running 20 level floors without losing ALL of your resources is frustrating. And why can't you bring a captured animal from the ranch with you? What's the point of capturing them then.
While adorable and evidently made with love, the game does not feel whole. You can tame monsters, but you can't do anything with them. There is no real sense of reward after killing a boss you simply unlock the next area. Playing the game without purchasing items to help you makes the experience highly difficult, and overall unsatisfying, since, as previously mentioned, there is no "reward". The dungeons, which are meant to be "ever-changing", feel exactly the same each time you go through them. We purchased a few of the add-on features (no ads, another character & hat pack, etc.) because we do truly see & love the effort being put into this game. The art style is adorable, and the music is beautiful the game just isn't finished. We hope that the creators keep showing love to this game, because we think it can end up as one of the best mobile dungeon-crawlers there is.
We love the game so far but Im having a hard time enjoying it or getting to know it any better because our game freezes at random while Im playing. We would love to play the game more if you could fix this issue.
We havent played much of the game itself, so Ill give it a neutral 3 stars, but the music in the first floor is EXTREMELY close to Dearly Beloved that is prominent in the Kingdom Hearts series. Be careful Devs.
Such a shame. There is an unbelievable amount of charm to this game. But much like so many others, its completely toxic with free to play gimmicks, and this one is aggressive. We play all the iOS roguelikes and we thought we could do alright dodging the $ tricks, until we got to the first proper boss. Then it became obvious that you're going to have to lean HEAVILY on the in game currency items to progress. Its fine. This game is free and you cant expect a free game to give you fun for free. Its just a bummer because besides alchemic dungeons/rogue ninja there arent really many mystery dungeon style crawlers out there. Womp womp plenty of fish in the sea.
Great game!! Reminds us of Zelda, but mobile and dont need wifi access to play :) wish there was an encyclopedia of items (what it does/where to get it) because we didnt know about bread, and died a couple times. Great gameplay, good monsters, like the variety of the floors.
Unlike others… We didnt have any problems with the ad on the bottom of the screen. We were hooked by this game immediately and have been playing it for a while now! (we wish the other characters werent $4.00 though…) It is a fun game to play and we hope others enjoy it too.
This game is amazing, we love all of its qualities the artistic style is fantastic. We think its often overlooked the effort put in to actually change the appearance of weapons, and shields when the character equips a different type. Instead of simply buffing up the stats theres artwork for each type of equipment. The characters look great, the dungeons pace very well, its reminiscent of Pokmon Mystery Dungeon from the GBA, or Pixel Dungeon from the App Store, both stellar games. You have a lifelong supporter in us, it is definitely worth it to purchase the ad-free version, this game is worth more than its sold for. The musical direction is perfect for each stage, everything works so well in composition with one and other. The fact that its also played in regular mode, not landscape allows for quick and easy access to progress whenever and wherever you have the time to. Cant wait to see what comes.
Go play Monster Hunter World on PC you mobile and console peasants.
Some of the challenges quite tough to the extreme but overall a fun game. Highly recommend if you like the mystery dungeon series.
ITS SUCH AN AMAZING GAME IM ADDICTED.
Based, and dare we say, red pilled.
…but, among other things, Id like tamed monsters to actually do something, like possibly being able to take them into the dungeon, and we think the other playable characters should be able to be obtained through normal gameplay.
The game is great the character unlock price (ingame gold version) is a bit steep but not unfair. Id recommend adding journals from other adventurers to find in the dungeon (maybe even other character your not playing as) to add more insight into the world outside the dungeon along with some background on the characters.
Decent game. Could be better, but could also be a lot worse. 4/5.
Overall this game is well-made and somewhat entertaining. However, nearly everything is behind a paywall, with no way to obtain certain features otherwise. Personally, we would recommend giving players the ability to unlock other characters/expand storage via an in-game means such as a hard-to-get currency that could be purchased with real money. In addition, after clearing the first boss, we were disappointed that there were no drops. We would have expected some kind of reward other than just unlocking the next area. Overall a nice game but still lacking in some parts.
This game is very fun. If this game was $5, and had less in-app purchases, we would give it 5 stars. The in-app purchase should be obtained in the story. Im very early in the game, so Im not sure if the characters are obtainable in the story.
This game is very entertaining and a lot of fun for a quick game here and there. This game feels very much at its beginning or alpha stage and we hope continues to grow and add to it. Taking monsters is fun but there is nothing good that comes from it. We would like the monsters to either go in the dungeon with you, equip them to give you some special ability or bonus stat, or raise them at the ranch and maybe get limited items from them. If you are looking for a complete game then this is not for you, if you like the beginnings of a game and want to play rogue like games this is great.
Its Pokmon dungeons with ads people!but its surprisingly fun.
This is a great game wish there was a bit more features to it.
Feels nostalgic, it has Pokmon Mystery Dungeon Vibe but in gacha… Ill keep on playing for the nostalgia, hopefully we end up with 5 stars rating as we go on playing.
This is a very fun game almost identical to the Pokmon Mystery Dungeon series. However, the game is riddled with microtranactions. Understandably paying for an ad-free game is okay, but please remove the banner the ads were on entirely. Secondly, the player needs to be able to earn the characters and storage space by playing the game. By giving the users the choice of playing the game to unlock items, rather than outright buying them, will keep them playing longer for an overall increased experience.
The game has been relatively fun, but annoyingly, theres an AFK Arena ad thats constantly playing at the bottom the entire time youre playing. We wouldnt mind if we could turn the sound off, but you cant, so you cant have the game sound on, which is actually quite nice, without hearing this loud and annoying ad over and over again.
Its just pokmon mystery dungeon but with less features and its pay to win.
We downloaded this game because in theory it did seem interesting, but in reality this was not the case. It was extremely confusing to play and did not have a well thought out tutorial. On top of that the dungeons were very repetitive. There was so story arc and it did not feel as though we were playing for an end goal. In addition to everything previously stated it has a lot of ads and many in app purchases.
Good game but becomes grindy and frustrating because it becomes pay 2 win too quickly.
So this game is a cheap knockoff of Azure Dreams. A game which added the elements of town building, dating sim, but most importantly monster taming and training. You could bring said tamed monsters into the dungeon with you, and unlike you they maintained their level. Without this element, the game loop here is boring and pointless.
There was an ad playing in the background and it was so annoying we couldnt play it.
The loud ads that play at the bottom of the screen make the game in playable. Not worth the time if you cant even hear the background music.
Once you see everything the game has to offer in terms of features and actual gameplay, youll soon realize this gets boring and repetitive FAST. Also the stars system is confusing as hell, it says clear it with no items (which Ive Done multiple times) and still leaves us with our initial one star rating. Not to mention theyll tempt you with characters that have better stats hidden behind a paywall. Except for the first dude which you can either purchase with real money or spend a couple weeks grinding out 100,000. Good luck. The whole expedition whatever system always gives you garbage loot. There is no way for you to improve your characters base stats over time when you exit the dungeon. They expect items to be your incentive but thats contradictory because then they give you challenges that require you to not use items at all, so youre setting yourself up for failure. The RNG when it comes to runes is just annoying with no skillful ways to avoid getting screwed over, it almost always works against you. You will constantly be pushing the wrong buttons on the clustered control panel. Enemy movement is sporadic and messy. You never truly feel like youve completed a floor because enemies just keep spawning. Taming monsters is also a random non skill based mechanic that doesnt even do anything aside from show you what monsters youve killed multiple times, so its essentially just a monster encyclopedia system that is even harder to fill out because you have to randomly kill monsters many times to add them, rather than kill them once, just to see them in your little ranch. Oh oh and get this, they have a feature called headwear where you can use a different currency you get by watching ads to save up and buy cosmetics, but they want you to pay both the ad-based currency AND real money. Thats hilarious, they couldnt even resist asking for money when they add an entirely different currency system that forces players to watch their ads. Obviously the devs coulda just made a complete game and charged a dollar or two for the game, but of course thats not as profitable as little kids asking their moms to buy them stuff. The only thing this game has going for it is that it has some decent pixel art but its nothing special and looses its charm quickly.
We dont know why but literally the moment we open the game it starts looping an ad INFINITELY. We just get this loud ad looping over and over again telling us AFK ARENA PLAY NOW FOR FREE and its so obnoxious we uninstalled the game immediately after that. We thought opening and closing the app would do something but it doesnt. Horrible. Mix the obnoxiously loud ad and this games sound and it sounds like our phone is possessed.
