JOURNEY BEYOND THE STARS
Last Voyage is a cosmic adventure through space and mind in 10 unique chapters. Go through psychedelic portals, solve abstract puzzles, explore grand minimal forms or race against the stars. A science-fiction experience unlike any other game.

THE DESIGN
A cinematic game with stunning movie-like graphics, each chapter is visually unique and explores an original concept with completely new game mechanics.

THE MUSIC
60+ minutes of original soundtrack to heighten your sense of wonder. The soundtrack features a variety of genres and has been tailored to every movement on the screen. Best experienced with headphones.

PHILOSOPHY
Last Voyage is a game about space that is not about spaceships but rather what lies beyond our culture and technology. A game where you don't master a single task but rather explore a range of concepts. As a result, the levels are sometimes mysterious, and other times very direct. Sometimes completely still, and other times moving at the speed of light. While these chapters form a continuous narrative, you are constantly surprised with new ways to interact as you seamlessly transition from one chapter to another.

This Entertainment game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

You play a work of art. They prioritised quality over quantity. Short but sweet but also its only a dollar.

Great game. Lots of fun interesting things to do. Only wish there was more.

This game is very weird and interesting but DAM we have probably never seen anything like this, but it is AMAZING good The soundtrack is really good too anyway 5/5.

Wow. Just… Wow. The graphics are something unreal, and the gameplay is fun. This is the new age of puzzle/ dodging games.

We love abstract visual games like this. Fantastic soundtrack too. Hard enough to keep you interested and on the edge. Another winner for this amazing developer.

This game has some beautiful art and music, but in the end it feels like random puzzles stitched together without much of a point. Some of the puzzles are too easy, and some are punishingly difficult. The Skip button was a welcome addition. Overall, its an experiment that has some interesting moments but is ultimately not for us.

Nightgate was one of the best games Ive played on the phone. This one however is super frustrating and just doesnt have the same charm. Its more annoying than anything else and we die a ton. 2 stars. Boooo.

A couple of the same mini games, taken from other games, repeated and repeated. Moody atmosphere that aims for portentous, hits pretentious. Amazed that games like this get good reviews.

If youre looking for a calming or beautiful puzzle game like Monument Valley or The Room, this is not it. There are two or three ingenious puzzles in here, but they are short-lived, and separated by endless runs of flying-obstacle-avoidance interspersed with endless scrolling landscapes with nothing to do. An OK game if free, but designers did not put enough thought into this to justify the $4.99 price.

Please ignore all reviews. We are a cosmic ahole.

This iOS app is the best app we ever had in our iPhone! We cant believe that missed this, and its like a present for us, in the first days of 2019! We cant even call this a game, Its perfect piece of Art! We drowned into mysterious story and enjoyed mini games that plays so smooth… After several minutes we said to our self that we should give this five stars! Please download this game and enjoy.

Awesome overall (art, graphics, music & concept), we just wish you can play again from part 1.

Though beautiful in look and sound, this game is an unholy mix of relaxing puzzle solver and twitch game. Could have been as legendary as Journey if the level designers had more discipline.

Some levels are randomly generated which very quickly leads to dull and meaningless gameplay, Chapter 9 being the worst. However, some of the more intentionally designed puzzles, like in chapter 10, were challenging and much more enjoyable. Too much randomly generated game play, and too many repetitive puzzles lead to the low review. We wouldnt pay for this app (we downloaded it while it was free).

Its very fun and beautiful except Im stuck on the 4th level and cant get past the green and red lights. No matter how far we get, we have to start over. We just cant get it, especially when it says Im only 3% done. Every time.

The music in the preview is not in the game, theres 10 chapters of puzzles or other things of the sort, none very long. Nothing to challenging and we feel no different, the descriptions quotes say the game is mind altering and makes you ponder the way you think, Im not sure we experienced either, but we know it not worth the 5 dollars, 1 or 2 maybe, but not 5.

This was a waste of $5. Im sorry we ever bought this game.

Simple boring puzzles interrupted by impossible endless runner levels that can't be saved.

Bought this for $0.99 and dont regret it. Amazing trippy immersive game that captures and is hard to let go. Although this game is not new and we saw it featured in a documentary, well worth the wait.

Our dad had introduced us to this about 2 weeks ago, so we bought it for ourselves- and was completely blown away. The graphics, the way it shows a different perspective from a mind bending game, the music that makes it so zen, and the puzzles- they really make it work your brain because of how the dimensions work in the game. We could play this forever. In fact- when we finish, we want to play it again. We just got a new phone and we wanted to take our mind off something while we ride the LOUD bus to school filled with annoying people- and it SO worked. We were completely zoned in the game and it made us relax for school. It made us forget about everything else and just the overall beauty of the game. Great distraction from the real world. Such interesting puzzles that are difficult but in the end making you want more. 10/10 recommend for a brain game.

Magnifique. Its not an action game, but we loved it.

Take notes developers, this is how you make a game. Most of us are happy to pay a nominal purchase price, avoid all and any advertising and enjoy a smooth, clean game with great replay ability. Why are there not more games like this.

It is unique game and very nice, we hope you add new levels.

Oops! Missed it again. Dang, yet again. Welp. Im too dumb for the game we guess. Looks cool but im not gonna mess around tryna guess. Too bad too because it seemed like id really love it. Paid for it tho so perhaps we will try again sometime.

This game has been finish by no more than five – ten percent. Not sure but Id bet our pinky toe its true. Ridiculous awful game. If one desires to make any progress being on the spectrum would be the most helpful advantage on this bloody darn atrocity of a game. The fact that they charge for it is an utterly ruthless kick in the bollocks.

Really fun. Wish there were more levels.

Its not one of our favorite game because of you play it for too long it gets boring and it really doesnt have a story line. BUT… The amazing graphics music and feel to the game are worth WAY more than the 2 bucks that we payed for it.

The video makes it look like the app supports landscape mode, when the app really doesnt. To use it we have to take our iPad out of it case/stand. Worse yet, it doesnt support both both portrait orientation so we also have to disconnect our charging cable to play it too. Another developer that fails to recognize that there are iPads too. Running it on our iPhone loses a lot of the awe the app can create on a large display so whats the point.

We think this is a good game and all, but it could use a little more content. And the part after chapter 6 could be made skippable.

The puzzles were not all that challenging. The coordination parts were moderately challenging. We had fun…for the whole HOUR AND A HALF it took us to complete THE ENTIRE GAME!! Moderately entertaining but not worth the money for what you actually get.

Bought this one because of Nightgate and found this one to be annoyingly like many of the running games that make you turn left then right; whoops too slow, now start completely over…quite tedious and quite deleted.

We HATED this game. Totally annoying. Waste of money. Dont buy.

We get lost in this gorgeous experience, all senses simulated! So dope.

This game is one of the few games to ever stand out to us in this way. The puzzles are fantastic, but the journey it takes you on is simply unreal. So otherworldly, reminds us of 2001! We seriously hope more chapters come in the near future because we seriously loved every moment of this game.

Wonderful graphics and sound track.

The game is pure art, the soundtrack is mysteriously stimulating, and the puzzles are just difficult enough to avoid frustration. We love this game and will enjoy playing it again and again.

Great game. We like the puzzles. The hand/eye coordination challenges not as much.

This game is honestly one of the best out there. It's different, strategic, and just so beautiful. Seeing so many things at once is quite an intense feeling. It's best to play in the dark, alone. We feel like in this setting the game just really gets you going. It's almost like a high-ish feeling, this game makes our mind feel at ease.

Amazing graphics, engaging play, and a wonderful soundtrack, but gosh darn if we're not stuck on Chapter 5. We flew through the other chapters but Chapter 5 level 3 has us frustrated. Worth the money.

This is a Amazing game experience. Not-too-challenging puzzles, beautiful design, just absolutely amazing. Our only wish is that there was more.

If you like games like _prism, you'll love this one. Some levels can be a little fast, but we were able to skip a level that was incurred stress. The puzzle levels are very interesting. NOT a waste of money.

Very simple game design with simple controls and often little in the way of instruction, but still greatly enjoyable! Great use of color, shapes, and sounds in mind-altering flying sequences.

This is one of the best games we have ever played. It is utterly captivating, utterly enveloping, utterly brilliant. We were truly moved by this game, no…this experience. We never write reviews for anything. No games, no Amazon purchases….but, this was another level. Can't even remember what we spent on it, not that it matters. We will play it again and again. It is just difficult enough to keep you coming back. Truly takes you to another world. Meditative. Thanks for an incredibly mind blowing experience.

Nothing more than an homage type game to 2001 and interstellar (both great films)….but the later levels (especially that awful tilt level) got waayyyyyy too hard and fast…we beat the game but we cannot see ourselves going back and playing the later levels again due to high frustration and lack of fun.

This game is awesome, we think it's a great way to strengthen your brain and its beautiful in graphics and sound.

Last voyage is undoubtedly a masterpiece. Some levels are fast based and reaction oriented, others slower and puzzle based. We'd call Last Voyage an experience more so than a game, and it's a wonderful one at that. There are at least six different kinds of gameplay present within the game, ranging from flying through portals to navigating through the stars. One section (chapter four) closely resembles the stargate sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Because of the varying gameplay styles, different people will find different levels hard. The game's not impossibly hard, but you will definitely come across one or two levels that will really make you think. The minimalistic, yet almost psychedelic art style, similar to that of monument valley is wonderful and captivating. The ambient soundtrack, with a few orchestral arrangements thrown in only enhances the dark, mysterious environment–we'd highly suggest you check it out on iTunes or Spotify. The plot, much like the art style is minimal. Is it a trek through the stars? Or is it a voyage through the human mind? An exploration of life, death and rebirth? Or maybe you'd rather simply enjoy Last Voyage as a nonlinear puzzle game. The choice is yours. The game is a must play if you are a fan of Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. One final note about the game, if you have epilepsy or get headaches from Flashing images/lights, there are many fast moving shapes/lights in this game and in the final chapter there are some strong flickering lights.

It's worth it to make it to chapter 4, The Path. It evokes the sublime in the same fashion as 2001. The level is in first person while you fly through space. Your left/right swipe by default move your character to the left and right respectively, but you can reverse this in the options. The reversed mechanics are intuitive as well though- with this control scheme you can imagine the left swipe is pushing off the ether like a swimmer who pushes water to the left in order to propel the body to the right. Or perhaps you aren't moving your body at all, maybe your body is stationary and you are moving the entire universe. Everything is perspective, or perhaps perspective is itself the grandest illusion of all. The truth of the universe belies all perspective.

Poetic. Mentally thrilling. Insanely satisfying to figure out and beat each level. Props to the developer for releasing 5 new chapters and making improvements to the overall experience.

Fantastic puzzles. Music is perfectly done. 11/10.

We feel like we're in some cosmic realm when we play this game…a place so unusual and ethereal we would rather be there (than here on Earth) to learn how to live, survive, and have a better meaningful purpose in life. We haven't finished the game yet. We bought it a few days ago after deciding between this game and a few other cosmic-inspiring games in the Apple Store. We watched a little of the gameplay on YouTube and that solidified our reasonings for buying Last Voyage. On the first few levels we kinda needed a little cheat sheet for, but for the most part, the puzzles can be easy or they can really test your mind. One puzzle we did was strange. We didn't understand what the objective was for that mini-game, but we did beat it out of luck…just curious as to what the objective was. So far, our favorite mini-games are The Void and The Path. The one we like/dislike is The Beyond because it took us a few days to beat. That level was the most frustrating to complete without having to play it well over a hundred times (we're sure of it)but after just beating all the levels to it, we feel more relieved to write this review. In the end of that mini-game, we believe the struggles to make it to the end was all worth it. You'll see why if you buy this game and play that level. We're on Part 2 now, but we haven't played it yet. We needed a moment to recuperate, lol. We would love to play more games like this. It's an escape from this world.
