Community Insight:
Youre going to spend hours playing this game, we bought it a week ago and we cant tell you how many times the game notified that we should take a break after playing for two hours , its crazy addicting, massive improvement from the first game, we cant wait to see what the game has in store, would love to see a career mode where you can start off running for a lower spot like an assembly and work your way up to say mayor or governor, something where you dont automatically start out as the leader of the party, so you can work your way up to say governor, member of the legislature, and so on very much looking forward to more updates.
OK well this game needs a lot of new changes. There is a bug where you cannot open your previous game. It does not let you open it to play it. There is a bug where the opposition president needs to vote on approval of a law but they dont vote so the game doesnt progress this game but its just so buggy. The game closes every now and then please we wanna play it.
The game was great potential and keeps getting better with every major update. We just hope that we can get closer to having a more functional game without so many bugs but other than that its a great game and Im excited to see it when its no longer in its beta stages.
To start out with this game is absolutely great. Its so much fun and creative. And we love how challenging also. A few things though would be fun to see get added. When going to war for instance maybe give the options of every nation instead of the nations that are only available in game. Another thing to add should be to make it so that if your parties candidate for speaker of the House wins then you can make a resolution to move a vote to another day or do a secret vote. It would be fun if that can be something to do and make it easier to understand how to do. Another thing to add to make it more interesting would be the option to halt trade with other specific nations and even for war option add the action of blockading the nation with ships and be able to make a fleet with like cruiser, battleships, aircraft carriers. Thats all that we have to say for now but all and all its a great game.
We have wanted a game like this for many years! We are very happy it is finally here.
We love the game very much but we got an Idea for the Supreme Court you should be able to appoint Justices to the Supreme Court as a president with the Senate approving or not approving the presidents choice to the Supreme Court but overall great game.
When we click on the Map Tap So many maps pop up and we have keep deleting them Game is Good though.
We like the game but there are a few things that should be added. We wish if we could add custom parties to the game like the Constitution Party or Forward Party. Also we wish if we could run for senate and house races without running a presidential candidate, sometimes that can spoil the election for a major party candidate.
Whenever you go to make new laws or click a checkmark, it clicks the law maker and the background and whenever you go to work with your policies and stuff like that and like move around the back screen moves with it and its messing up our big claws cause we have to go in and restart all over just because its clicking on the background and not the checkmark And this started after yall updated the game yesterday so maybe that might help.
Theres a big in which it wont let you action points (it wont even show the option to do anything) the only thing you can do is skip time and thats it.
This game scratches the itch. We loved the first game, we are willing to commit crimes for the sequel! We wish nothing but the best for this project.
We believe that everything in here is perfect. Its very well of course theres some things and especially on like an iPad or an iPhone. This works just as well as on a computer or PC so we give this a 10 out of five.
Id just downloaded the first version of Lawgivers after grumbling about paying four dollars only to find the game was worth the money. We did some research and found out they were working on a second version, but it was difficult for us to justify the price. While the first one was a good game, we wanted more, so we bought and downloaded Lawgivers II. Its worth the money. Really. It requires more attention and hands-on playing than the first, and we love the amount of control one has over so many different areas. And as an Estatian, the basis is there to pretty much make The United States as accurate as possible. Itd be cool to maybe have a campaign manager tab where you could see the current geopolitical map – and maybe the previous one – to better ascertain where to make your next move. But any notes we have are nit-picky. As far as the previous reviews: theyre invalid because these issues theyve brought have been addressed and fixed by the developers. THE. GAME. IS. WORTH. THE. MONEY.
Great game! Why cant we run to be a Councilor in town or state assemblies on iPhone? Please fix that.
Firstly we want to start off by saying this is one of the best political and realistic political sims out there. But it lacks core features. One thing you could add is maybe 2-3 more countries. Obviously adding countries takes time because you have to get it right to the last metric but maybe just add 2-3 in the next update we were thinking China for sure since they have so much influence. Then maybe India, and Japan. Another thing is could you make it to where you can abolish the monarchy or change the government type. Thats all for Now!! REALLY HOPE YOU TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION.
Ive only started playing the game but Ive already noticed a bug. We got the Prime Minister of the UK imprisoned after fabricating a scandal and its still showing him as the prime minister even while hes in Prison and on the history it says Resigned as Representative Resigned as Prime Minister.
For the most part we really enjoy this game but would like a better system for local elections. For instance, if we could click on an individual state and see its upcoming elections. Maybe the option to either auto select for us or we choose. Alternatively the calendar could be pre-populated with those elections like the others are. It would also be nice to have a spot for tracking past elections and performance vs the current graph we have that just shows party trajectory.
Just started playing them game very confused but we like it will get the hang of it but seems well made and good.
This game is great and we have played for hours since buying it three days ago. Would highly suggest fixing the bug where black money isnt received after making a deal to approve legislation with the opposite party. Countless times now we have made deals to pass legislation, once it is approved the money is not received. Also, it would be nice to have a historical log of prior election results and to show which Senate seats and Congressional districts are up for reelection!!! This would be nice to have for planning purposes when organizing Campaigns.
Yall did yall big one with this game. We think a great addition would be being able to nominate our own judges, it would be dope if other parties could accuse us of crimes and we could possibly defend ourselves in the court of law, or to challenge the legality of things based on laws implemented. It would be great that when events happen, we are able to choose a response to it out side of legislation, more executive order/power. We love how we can now do things on the local level & nominate for those seats although we have to personally select a member, should be notified when local elections are happening. Also we think the ability to cancel elections through martial law should be added. Our last suggestion would be nothing else our favorite game version 1 & 2 for the last 5 years.
Its okay its not the best but not the worst either we mean if the controls Were a little less wonky and the election not being a total landslide for the other side we think it would and could be better but we love the updates so keep it coming so 6.4/10 (in our opinion).
We would say it needs more, but besides that its pretty fun to play and the developers update so we cant wait to see what they have in store.
Can you please put a simple in game archive/list that shows all detailed election results, histories of presidents/PMs and the years they served to and from, laws voted on, wars, etc. Almost like a ledger, thats the BIGGEST thing this game needs to continue to move forward. Thank you.
Please find a way to add a portrait mode like in lawgivers 1.
Needs a better tutorial, after that this would be amazing game. There is a lot to learn and a better tutorial would do help.
It would be a great addition to add primary races and to add more in depth features for war. A good example for UI in elections for America is the Steam game The Political Process.
We love this game its so addictive, though we played it a lot money and getting voters is easy. Id like to take over the world and own trading systems. Id like to see all your products stockpile instead of just how many you produce. Theres bug in trade where it doesnt tell you how many you are producing, also making item takes too long. If you could make trade more indulging and show how much storage of goods would make it feel more emerging. More laws would be nice, more items to trade, more countries, more statistics to just observe, and more powers to the president. Finally can you please add more resources and fix new resources being introduced in time just for them not to be traded or anywhere in the world. Can you also bring timeline to 1950, and can you fix your country being compared to country that dont exist like United States being lower in gdp to china when china cant be interacted. We love this game we know its a process but Id love to see these features.
This is a game that has quite a learning curve. Specially, for those who might not know the legislative process. It is that very complexity that makes this game so rewarding. So many that are trying to understand the legislative process Environment we would highly recommend this game.
