A Glimpse into LDS Quiet Games

We’d all love it if our elementary age kids sat in church quietly taking notes and paying attention. But let’s be honest, does that really ever happen? Most of the time our kids make noise and cause everyone around to get distracted too. This app will help in 3 ways:

  1. Your kids will be quietly engaged
  2. You and your neighbors will be able to pay attention better
  3. Your kids will have fun without making a sound

Here are the 6 games: Bingo, Word Search, Memo Game, Prophet Matching, Temple Matching, and Hangman

  • Bingo: The classic conference bingo now with different sizes and always randomized.
  • Word Search: A fun word search game with LDS words that will keep children engaged.
  • Memo Game: Try to match each picture with its matching counterpart. No score so the kids won’t fight :)
  • Prophet matching: Learn each prophet’s name and face. Includes latter-day prophets and modern day apostles.
  • Temple matching: Match the temple to it’s correct name. Learn what each of the temples look like.
  • Hangman: Try to guess the lds word before the picture is completely drawn.

So sit back and enjoy General Conference or Sacrament meeting while your children are quietly engaged.

User Reviews on LDS Quiet Games

Looking for more information? Read a comprehensive review of LDS Quiet Games below:

The app itself is quiet havent seen any sound from it except for when it plays at slip then start to place sounds that part is a bit annoying. We dont mind that it has ads but it would be good if the ads didnt actually start just playing sounds.

Okay. First of all, we are not even a teenager yet, and we really enjoy this fun app. Our parents dont allow us to play any games except this app on Sundays. We would really enjoy this app, but there are a few issues: 1. Advertisements. We can understand little banners on the bottom, but the pop-up ads that make sound? We dont think thats good for Sunday. Also, in the hangman game, the banner ads on the bottom block some of the letters, so can you please transfer them to the top of the screen or something? 2. Answers revealed. In the temple match game, when youre supposed to find the Anchorage, Alaska temple, the picture for the temple SHOWS THE NAME OF THE TEMPLE. Can that please be fixed? We hate having to accidentally cheat. Thanks for taking the time to read this review. We hope these issues get fixed.

The game is good for a Sunday activity but the ads are very annoying.

There are so many beautiful photos of the Portland temple surrounded by tall green trees. Why did you choose this ugly dark close up of such a small portion? Our grandsons have been to this temple many times but didnt recognize it from your photo. Please change it.

We give our phone to our kids to read the scriptures and they play other stuff but when we downloaded this app they said that they liked it and it was fun now we can play conference bingo with out ink for our printer.

We with it had an option to do picture or words for the conference bingo.

Thanks for this app! Our son loves to play it; however we turn off safari, except for approved websites, and this app doesnt work unless a website is approved. What is the website associated with this app so we can put it on his approved list so it works on his phone? Thanks!

We agree about the annoying loud ads. Defeats the whole point, dont you think?

The whole point, for us, was a quiet app. Im so glad we tested this, because it would have been so embarrassing to have a loud ad blaring in Sacrament Meeting.

Its kind of boring we would like more fun games if possible but if not we will not continue to use it and will delete it it is also bland and not worth it we get that its LDS and all but it is not really a kid friendly game so those who are reading we advise you to not install this game unless you like bland boring and not fun.

Its just ok. The games are boring and predictable, the advertising is really not good, this is supposed to be an LDS game and yet its just like every other mobile game.

Its a good app – simple but good. We cannot understand why in this day and age hangman is considered appropriate, considered its roots in racism. We would actually pay for the app if that was not included in the app.

We like the app just fine and we understand needing/wanting some compensation for the time it took to program it so we dont really mind the ads on principle. BUT an app specifically for helping children be quiet during church shouldnt play video ads with sound. That should be a basic design feature. This oversight in design caused an embarrassing situation for us so we quickly deleted the app after that. Wont be putting it back on until thats fixed.

We dont like the adds so we intend to delete this app.

Every time we open the app iOS warns us that the app has copy and pasted the contents of our text messages. Seems like the developer may be stealing our data?!
