Lena Games Taipei is a Mahjong solitaire game for iPhone and iPad.
The game rules are classic: at each move you remove a pair of similar
tiles from the board, the goal is to remove all tiles.
Only those tiles can to be removed that are not covered by other tiles.

All three of this developers games are awesome. They work faultlessly and the graphics are great. We play all three of her games daily. This game and her jigsaw puzzles are our favorites.
A recent update replaced the standard tiles with a new on with much lighter images that have thinner llines. We prefer the old tiles; the new ones are harder to recognize. Please bring back the old ones.
Many reviews go back several years so we thought we would write one that is current. This is a wonderful game that l play daily. It is one of several MJ games that we enjoy. It is updated regularly. Keep up the good work.
This version of the game has been one of our favorites for years. Im so happy to be playing it again.
But we wish the games were numbered so we could recall particularly difficult games to replay and cite them to friends to play! As of today we have won 8474. We also would like the NEW button moved but to the right in the position of the HINT button. Sometimes when we are playing we too inadvertently hit the new button before we win the game.
Please move NEW to extreme left so player is less likely to tap it inadvertently, especially since this input cannot be undone.
This is the tile game for us. One of our go-tos when we have some free time. So excited it's updated to 64-bit!!! Didn't want to see it go and now it's not! Thank you so much.
This is our before bed activity to clear our mind of thoughts. Challenging without being too hard. Just right.
Very pretty, standard tiles and some alternates (more tile choices would be nice!), works well. Like the different layouts and choice to dim out-of-play tiles.
Fun game. Just challenging enough without being stressful. Beautiful backgrounds and music. Worth the upgrade.
Love playing the game but it sometimes freezes up. Update 1/7/17. Really annoying. Constantly freezes. Is this gonna get fixed or what.

We have played this game for years on a computer, and now on our IPAD and IPHONE. It has been very entertaining and the Author has always been very helpful with any questions we may have had in the past. Thank you Ms Lena.
The BEST! We've been playing Lena's games for years on our PC and can't believe our luck to find it for ipad! We had to go on line. It wasn't in the Ap store. But we LOVE it. Thanks, Lena.
Version 1.4 is wonderful. The entire game is improved, screen is clearer, backgrounds are more interesting, tile sets are easier to see. For once an improvement actually improves the game. Thanks Lena.
We were never much of a game player until Taipei. We probably play at least one game a day. It's definitely a game for (older) adults.
The game is no longer challenging, since you made it where you can shuffle the tiles until you win. What a bummer.

Hi, we used to love playing Taipei, but the newest version (1.1) is very slow when you clear a tile. We deleted it and re-installed version 1.0. Please fix this problem.
This was our favourite of the Shanghai games (the only problem we had with it was the "bwoop!" when you cleared a pair of tiles; would prefer nothing, or a simple clean "click" to match the tile selection sound). Now a weird glittery-glowy effect is added to clearing tiles as well, and it is a very slow animation.
This version has many different options, but the one thing we don't like about it is that once you make a match, the tiles slowly dim out and it seems a bit delayed. Very annoying.
Great game, best mahjongg game in the app store. We'd bump it to 5 stars if it had a shuffle button for when there are no more moves left. Definitely worth a purchase.

This is a wonderful game! It has all kinds of customizable features, and as always with every game Lena develops she pays special attention to each tiny detail. We echo what the previous reviewer wrote, including the fact that Lena DOES answer her mail, and tries to always please her customers in any way she can. Give her games a try, and we're sure you will be pleased. The extra special thing about Lena is that she isn't just trying to make $$$$, she is trying her best to make people happy.
We have been buying Lena's jigsaw puzzle and solitaire games for our computer and pocket pc for years. Of all the developers out there, she is simply the very best. She works hard for her customers, and even answers email!!! We have been asking her to put her games out for iTunes, and am SO SO very happy she finally has. This Taipei game is WONDERFUL! It's fully customizable, and she even provided a free version to try it. Please support her games so she will put her JIGSAW games on iTunes. No other jigsaw games can possibly compare with LenaGames. We have all her Bigjig versions, and am waiting to be able to play them on our iPhone and especially our iPad. Thank you Lena!!!!!!! You are wonderful and your games are perfection, as well as fun and addicting.
We are so excited at she finally came out with an iPad version of this game. We were one of the many that has emailed her and asked her to make an apple version available. We've kept an old pocket windows device just to play this game on and we're so glad to see we can play it anytime now. We're not sure what makes this game so much better than the rest, it just is. You'll find it a challenge to be able to defeat all the different tile designs. The only thing we're bummed about is that she left out the CAT design. It is our favorite. Please update and add that one too.
Finally, it's Taipei just like we remember it years ago on the old Windows 95 computer. You've made our day. Instant purchase.
