We’ve been playing this game for about a week now and this been entertaining. No complaints here.
This game allows the computer to make up words that are not in the dictionary.
This game literally pops an ad up between every game. If not careful you’ll find yourself kicked out of the game into the App Store without a quick jump back. The game would have potential if the developer weren’t using such a miserable user hostile funding system. After your free lives are up you can buy more at ridiculously high prices considering that the AI makes words of dubious provenance while rejecting real words from the human. We have no intention of checking to see if buying lives stops the ads. We’ll find another game and avoid this developer like the plague.
Starts slow but once you get into the higher levels it becomes a fun challenge. Great way to start the day- thinking!!
Challenging game — we would pay a couple bucks to not have to wait to reload lives and to avoid ads. Right now the only option is to ‘buy’ lives but the pricing is ridiculous given how fast you can run through lives.
It’s an okay game.. There should be an option to play against other people because playing against the comp is very challenging & gets frustrating when it comes up with completely ridiculous words, it makes it seem like it’s impossible to beat & it gets redundant when you play round after round using the same words.. It’s a very good concept & the interplay is great.. We would just suggest the option to play against other people and the computer.
OMY JOHNNIE THIS GAME IS SO GOOD we GOT PREGGERS WITH THREE LITTLE BUTNUGGETS ALL NAMED FAPPY.
We thought we were the only one to experience the issue where the computer opponent makes up weird words, but we guess not. We thought it was just us whose screen periodically fades to black while the computer selects every tile as a word (after having submitted our word and simultaneously running out of time), but again, it appears to be commonplace. And when you exit the game and return to finish the match, you’ve lost (regardless of progress). Lastly, you’re a loser when you tie on this game. This rule is extremely frustrating and discouraging. Suggestions: add a "dictionary" feature to allow the user to look-up the last word submitted during gameplay. This would help ease the frustration if those "special" words are in fact real words. The same dictionary engine would be available in the home screen (outside of gameplay) for the user to try and look up words (I think the "Scrabble" app had this feature) to build a smarter, more capable player. Next, work on the bug that makes the A/I "flip out" if you submit your word right at the end of your time. It literally looks like you’re playing with an angry child when it does that. Finally, change the rule for ties. You could have the user keep their life or have a sudden-death thing where the board is used for one more word (longest word wins the round). In this scenario, words already played would not be allowed, and the rule of having to use a new tile will not apply. Just a few thoughts here…
So, a tied score where the computer gets the last tile is a loss and a tied score where the user gets the last tile is ALSO a loss? Why? We deleted your game for this. Terrible. Frustrating.

Great game, addicting. However, every time we run out of lives and go to get out of it, our phone freezes and has to be restarted. It takes us about 10min to wt it restarted because it literally doesn’t want to do anything. We want to keep playing but not if we have to do that every time to back out. Annoying!! And hard on our phone.
Ads pop up at the beginning and end of every round. They seem timed to pop up so you accidentally tap them. It’s so frustrating because the length of a round is very short. The time to finish a round is just as long as the time it takes to get back into the game after you’ve accidentally tapped an ad. The AI is also not very believable.
(MUST READ) This could be super fun but it cheats like no other!!! Lettro makes up words that take half the tiles and when we use real words they get declined. We tried LENT on three levels and it said no, Lettro uses it once and gets points like we’re not going to remember we tried that word!!! It occasionally freezes but it’s so bad it take 5-10minutes for our phone to restart!!! Worst of all we realized something. Pay attention to the timers, yours goes out fast but Lettro’s starts and then STOPS until it starts the word!!! Seriously, what is the purpose??? We referred this game to friends but we recant our statements!!! Do not recommend unless you want to be so frustrated that you feel like throwing your phone on a busy highway!!!
Ads pop up at the beginning and end of every game. As you get higher in the levels it gets nearly impossible to win because the computer makes up long words and the real words you use aren’t in the games dictionary.
This game has potential, but its flaws make it the most frustrating game we’ve ever played. First, there is the ad issue. They are pervasive and pop up after every single game. Many times, without even touching the ad, we were taken to the App Store to download the advertised app. Second, a draw between you and your opponent actually equals a loss for you. Sorry, but that’s ridiculous. Third, and most frustrating for us, the computer makes up words that don’t exist and they count. It happens at least two or three times per game. In our last game, "sented" counted as a word – that was the final straw for us.

Just as everyone else has said, the game cheats all the time, which ruins what would otherwise be a great game. Also, the ads are CONSTANT. They are clearly designed to make you mistakenly click on them. Terrible.
The most pervasive and disruptive ads were all packed into this game and they are never ending. Deleted and forgotten.
This app makes up words out of no where, and declines actually words!! But if the game decided it is not a word then you loose your turn. If it made up one or two words, we would be fine with the game; however, we mean three to four words a round are RIDICULOUS. As if they mashed up random letters into a word so that the computer could win. These made up words are the only thing that makes the computer difficult to beat.
Just started a new game when the Computer rushes to take its turn using ALL the letters in the grid, spelling TTHJLLADHIOW. The screen goes to black telling us TTHJLLADHIOW is not a word (really? You dont say?) and from that point on it was just that notification box coming down the black screen over and over with the letter selection dinging carrying on in the background. Pressing any and all buttons made no difference for almost 10 minutes, but we finally got it to shut down. And when we started it up again we immediately uninstalled this app FOR GOOD! We shouldnt have to fear an app just broke our phone!
We really enjoy this game except when we start a new level, we’re clueless to the words. We have to watch lettros words and use them after we lose before we can win. Without using the words the computer generates the first round, I’d never win against it. Just so many words we don’t know, yet ones we try are invalid.
We enjoy the game, but wish we could challenge the computer’s words. It spells some words we have never heard of, need to be challenged, or are questionable for not allowing words we spell. You just have to go with whatever it chooses to spell.

The app is set up really well but when your playing against the computer it comes up with words you never would have guessed and it’s totally unfair. This game is fun sometimes but the computer ruins it.

This game is a lot of fun, and has a great concept, but there needs to be more lives available. We’re barely able to play with a max of three lives. It’s hard to keep our interested when we have to wait a half hour just to try a level again.
Very fun game, but would be much better with a way to get more lives. If we could play for longer than 2 minutes without having to wait a half hour we would give the game 5 stars :)
It’s fun but take off the stupid life system because we don’t want to wait a half-hour to play again.
If we connect to Facebook how come it doesn’t save progress? We play on two devices. It’s frustrating to have to restart. Please fix that.
Its really unfair how they give you three lives for such a slight complicated game. If we knew that this game was that big of a rip off we would have never downloaded it.

This game simply should never have been featured by Apple. It is the half-baked, wait-for-twenty-minutes between losses mockware designed to frustrate you enough to purchase the full version. Buy it falls short of that as well. We installed it on both our iPhones and our iPads and the graphics look childish, the gameplay confusing and the 20 minute pause between losses is enough to lose your interest in about two games. In our opinion, Apple needs to get rid of this programming model for apps. Either charge for it or give it away. Don’t sucker us in with your Apple Recommendation just to find that the games is really just a watered down version of the real game that costs $10 and requires that it be allowed to speak for you or better yet to impersonate you on every social media app from now until enternity…

It was fine until "28:00 minutes until the next life." Uninstalled immediately. Let us play, or get off our device.
If you think that you will make money by not letting people play you are wrong. We love this game but we are deleting it. Even Candy Crush has 5 lives. Later.
The game is fun for the 2 mins you can play it. But then u have to wait 30 minutes to play again. They need to give you more lives or people will lose interest.
CPU just played "toltered" which is not a word. We have also lost to "ikorkos". CPU has no problem finding words like "hereinto" to beat you and cause you to lose. It is not a challenge when you lose like that…
