We accidentally deleted the app and forgot the name, and we thought we were going to lose it. Luckily, after going through all our apps we found it!! It is fun, makes you think, and teaches us things we didnt know.
This is a fun app. Youre not forced into buying anything. You can earn more time by watching a 30 second clip.
When we first downloaded the game, we couldnt stop playing it! But, one day, when we had time to play it again, it had crashed and we had to start at level 1 again. We would have given it 5 stars but the crash is the only reason we gave it 4 instead.
This is a fun game for people who like to think and fill out things like pop crossword puzzles. It requires a little bit more thought about what a column is and what a row is but once you start thinking about that carefully, its actually very well done thank you.
We enjoy the strategy and logic of this. Our biggest problem tends to come with us typing too fast for the game, so it only picks up a few of our letters.
The clues are almost always clear, and using the pencil option lets us temporary guesses in the boxes helps eliminate squares when considering other clues. But recently we are getting repeat logic puzzles. And they are the more recent ones, not ones from months ago. Im not sure what is happening since we always use the same iPad.
We play this game to go to sleep and have for a couple years. We actually paid the one time fee to get rid of ads. But now Ive done all the levels and Im to the point where its doing random levels which feels like its picking from a much smaller handful of puzzles than the hundreds of levels Ive already done. For example, we did the level based on Norse mythology one night and then turned around and got the same level the next morning. Anyway. We love this app. The keyboard is slow but its okay when youre using one thumb to type while laying down with one eye open. We also liked the event type things where however many levels were based on one specific topic. We wish that would come back. It was only available for like a month.
The game is really fun and challenging in most parts. First: The keyboard, its very unresponsive. Whenever we type on our phone we do it fast and the game keyboard just cant handle it sometimes and it just wont register a click Second: ads. Ads ads ads. Theres too many ads. In some of the larger puzzles Ive gotten 3 ad breaks and then another one once completed. It needs to be scaled down its almost unplayable without paying. We believe if this were fixed the game would be 10x better but overall good game.
Conceptually this game is a great idea but we get super annoyed at how the game plays. The keyboard for the game is super bad and we wish they would just use the regular phone keyboard. For the note function; it would be better if there was a clear box button so we wouldnt have to delete the words in such an agonizing way. Also it would be great if there was a side column for notes. Finally, we wish there was a way to press enter so that we could divide the words into individual lines rather than them all just being typed side by side.
We like this game because we love word and logical puzzles. But the things are really hard and when you dont add an s to some words or dont put the exact right way to spell a word.
This is such a great game but the pop ups asking us if we need a hint are driving us NUTS. Stop asking us if we want a hint while we are thinking. If we want a hint, we'll click the button, it doesnt need to pop up every 30 seconds.
The clue that says The Hermit is in a different diagonal than Temperance and Strength should read is in the SAME diagonal. This is a fun game except for three things. Periodic errors like the above, ads interrupting game play (challenging in a game that requires train of thought thinking), and the inability to view the whole game at one time.
This is a good logic game. But the number of ads are excessive. Maybe one ad a game and one between would be okay. This has ads every few correct answers.
We like the game yet the vague and misleading clues as well incorrect placement of answers are frequent and frustrating. For example listing a word as located in C4 but it is actually in E4. Additionally, we have noted misspellings, columns labeled as one subject when it is actually something different, and providing clues in the incorrect tense, such as, Diagrams is in D2 but the actual answer is Diagram. In our opinion, more thorough review and editing is necessary.
Its like theyve started using ai for the daily puzzles. Many clues are poorly written, or the logic just flat does make sense.
We absolutely love this game. Im addicted to it. But come onthe ads!! Get a wrong answer, ad follows. Get a right answer, another ads. Finish the game, here comes an ad. They are LOUD, they are LONG, they are CONSTANT. They interfere with our concentration. We wont purchase anything in the ads. There is no way to opt out of a particular ad. PLEASE find some other advertising. Im getting ready to quit this app.
Ive been playing the game for several weeks up to level 346, and enjoying it, but today we played our first Daily Challenge and am pretty annoyed. One of the first boxes we opened said THEATER is surrounded by three words, and listed the three. Not only did THEATER turn out to be surrounded by five words rather than three, NOT ONE of the words listed as surrounding it was among the five. They were all on the opposite side of the board!? We had to watch a LOT of ads before we worked it all out because of that. If false, misleading clues are what make the Daily Challenge more challenging, count us out.
We paid to turn off ads because we really enjoyed solving the puzzles. Now that we have done so we are seeing the same puzzles that we completed recently. Not enough puzzles!!! It feels like less than 100 puzzles.
We love the concept of this game so much that we recommended it to our fellow puzzle-loving mother! However, over time we found it harder and harder to play not because of the typical difficulties that gradually come from level to level, but because of the indecipherable clues! It can be so tough to figure out the next move from the vague clue given! Next, please stop badgering us to use hints and giving unsolicited hints! If we want a hint, we can get one ourselves. And we wouldnt need any hint if, again, the clues were clear. Lastly, as aforementioned in other reviews, the shop and hint buttons are not well placed and often block clues. We are an avid puzzler and wholeheartedly appreciate a good challenge. Please listen to your customers and make this game more enjoyable for players by correcting these issues.
Could have been our favorite word game everexcept for the constant, and we mean constant, ad breaks! Not only were they way too frequent but each ad was also way too long. Took the fun out of the game.
We like the puzzles, but there are some annoying things. 3 stars for the game, would be 5 stars if not for these three issues: 1 store/hint button location: These buttons are on top of the puzzle board and block the view of the bottom row so it is difficult to see the clues. 2 keyboard: we wish the in game keyboard allowed numbers and punctuationespecially when you are using the note feature. The keyboard needs a collapse/hide button when moving around the board. 3 ads: we are ok with ads but not when they are interrupting our thinking in the middle of a logic puzzle. And sometimes it feels like they are back to backmore time in ads than time working the puzzle. We can be on a streak of entering correct answers but the streak is reset when interrupted by an ad. 4 we would consider paying to remove the ads if the other 2 issues listed above were fixed.
Nice idea for a game. The interface leaves some to be desired: Too much scrolling back and forth needed, the shopping and clue buttons cover up parts of the puzzle. Some puzzles dont have enough info to solve without getting a clue. Would really like the game if the interface issues got improved.
We enjoy this game but way too many ads. We put an answer or two and another ad pops up. We understand the need for ads but they should be at the end of a level, not throughout the entire game. Time to find a new game.
We love logic puzzles, but this game has far too many ads and too few opportunities to get an answer wrong. There are ads after every couple of answers, and another to get another chance. Also, you have to be exact in the answer. For example, if the answer is tater tot, you cant write tater tots or tots. And you only get a chance to miss maybe two before you run out of chances. Im spending more time watching ads than we are playing. Time to find another logic game to play.
Theres so many ad breaks, constant dead ends, and not to mention errors were we put in the correct word many times and they counted it wrong until we watch a video for a hint and it puts in the EXACT word. We were on level 28, put in the word Driver in the correct spot and it counted it wrong so many times but the hint said it was right???? Like why?? Otherwise its a fun game.
This game is great if you like ads. It distracts you from your next long-thought-out move so that by the time its over, youve forgotten where you were putting your next answer. Also, many of the clues are so vague that you run out of hearts guessing which cell it is, requiring you to start over or watch more ads. (For example, x is in a corner, but you have 4 corners and only 3 hearts.) we havent been able to figure out how the notes function works to mark down possibilities before committing to an answer yet. We would also like to suggest a way to go back through your typing, aside from the backspace button, because its frustrating to type a long entry only to find that you somehow missed a letter and have to delete most of the text to fix it. Im certainly glad its not timed.
So many suuuuper long ads that arent even animated. Snooze! Tried game 3 times, its ridiculous, literally staring at the screen doing nothing for MINUTES. Game is good, but then another long ad interrupts the game while Im playing! Im out.
There are entirely too many LONG ads. They do ads after 2 or 3 answers. And they are mostly about 2 minutes long.
We enjoy this game and understand the need for ads, but the developers taking every minuscule opportunity to insert ads in the game is disheartening. Also, as the game is played the player can click cells they no longer need to grey them out indicating the clue has been used, but if an ad plays and the game is closed out before the ad finishes, when the game is reopened every greyed out cell retains the answer the player typed in, but they are no longer greyed out. This causes the player to re-review the clues to grey out the ones they dont need which allows the ad timer to count down, increasing the number of ads. Its nefarious that the developers punish players for closing the game prior to the ad ending. We understand ads are needed to make a game free but the underhanded psychological tricks in play to coerce players into spending money to avoid these punishments is deplorable. Or its a bug, we hope for the latter.
We really enjoy this game, but there are WAY too many ad breaks. We dont mind being interrupted once during a game, but more than that is beyond annoying, especially when it is the same annoying as over and over. We hadnt played for some time and redownloaded the game and was immediately reminded of the reason we quit playing in the first place. In an effort to declutter our phone, we will probably delete the app altogether.

We liked the game in theory and had fun for the most part. Apart from the constant ads (way more than normal games, we feel!), the clues were.not the best. You end up having to guess at a lot of them because there is not enough information to fill in answers. Also, words have to be sooo specific. We had had about enough when a clue was if you go on a trip, youll need this. The answer was not suitcase, it was bag. Like how am we supposed to know the exact word? On the same puzzle, an answer was plane and would not accept airplane. Maybe have the game flag the box and notify that the answer is close but not correct, or something idk. But anyway, fun game but needs work for sure.
Was a lot better when there were guides within the squares to show how many letters there were.
Im honestly getting really tired of games being so full of ads that you have to wait 30 seconds after every task. We had like 3 ad breaks in the third level and decided enough was enough. If you need to fund your app, keep ads in a bar and not all over the screen. Its super annoying.
So this is a great logic game. Very challenging! But its not made for iPad and has some major flaws that inhibit game play. One major problem is that you cant zoom out on the game board to see the whole board. When typing in a cell that is on the left side of the board, sometimes you need to refer to a cell that is on the right side of the board. But you cant see both cells at the same time, because you cant zoom out. This is a frequent problem because you often need to refer to a previous cell to provide the answer to your current cell. Another problem is on the bottom row of cells. These cells are always obstructed by menu buttons. So you cant see what is written in the bottom cells and you cant see what exactly youre typing into these bottom cells. The bottom menu buttons should be moved so they dont obstruct the bottom row of cells. We also wish there was also some consistency with the font. The clues are all written in lowercase letters. But you have to type in your answers in uppercase. This can be tricky when youre trying to spell the answer correctly. And accidentally misspelling an answer will deduct a life. We wish there was a fix to this, because oftentimes the misspelling is just a typo. These issues ultimately make the game unplayable, which is unfortunate. Id like to play this game more and think it can be easily improved. If these changes were made, we would easily give this a five-star review.
We looked this up again to see if anything has improved. Apparently, it hasnt. The bugs, the ads, all of the issues if you look at past reviews, you see the same complaints over and over again starting as far back as you can see. If there have been continuous updates, why havent any of the issues been resolved? This could be an extremely fun and probably popular game if it was actually working. The canned response to every complaint states that they appreciate our input and are working to improve these issues but clearly, it isnt happening. So dont bother unless you want to pay for it, and even then it isnt that good.
We're so addicted to this game – we're on level 187! It pushes our brain so hard! USE THE NOTES FEATURE! Ive gotten through almost every single level WITHOUT USING HINTS because of it. There have been SO many times where we were absolutely certain that there was an error in the level and no way to go forward without a hint – yet, every single time, we WAS WRONG! And the only way we figured it out was by using the notes feature at the top left to map out the possibilities we knew of from the clues. On some of the levels theres no way our brain could have figured it out without the notes because we personally need the visual to help us. YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY FOR HINTS! If you wait a bit, a message will pop up asking you if you need a hint. And it will give you an actual hint, not just the answer like the ones you pay for do. We actually prefer doing that – it's free, plus we still have to figure it out to a certain extent. There are some annoying parts of the app like others have mentioned. Hopefully they will be addressed – but even if they dont, Ill keep playing! It's annoying to have to "scroll" to see all of the columns. It would be awesome if you had the ability to do landscape mode. We don't know if you could resize it so you can see all the rows in that mode too. What would be even better is if the app was sized for the iPad – it would especially be so easy in landscape mode if it had that ability! Or even just being able to zoom in and out in general – on either device. Also, being able to sync between devices would be awesome – when we went to play it on our iPad we were already on level 122 and was bummed that we would have to start over if we wanted to play on it! Even if it was something you could charge for with getting rid of ads – we would totally pay for that! The keyboard isn't as responsive as it could be. It's easy to press a key but then see that it didn't actually type the letter – or vice versa, it typed it in twice. If you're not paying close attention, you can get it wrong. It would be nice to be able to go back and see the levels after you've completed them – for various reasons. Sometimes there are clues where the answer could be one word or two or it could be pluralized, but it isn't stated in the clue, so you might get it wrong. (There have been times where those things are clearly stated in the clue, though.) So far we have only found a few misspellings – Ive messaged them about it, so hopefully theyll get fixed.

Asking for a review after youve played one game is insane. What would we be reviewing? On game 3 we already had TWO ad breaks in the same short puzzle. Putting an ad in the middle of a game that involves some level of thinking is do annoying. Youre thinking about the hint and suddenly ad break which makes you lose your train of thought. Just have an ad at the end. Overall it wasnt fun to us or what we were looking for.
Every single thing you do beyond just filling in a square pops a full screen ad. We get they can be removed, but it interferes with even trialing the game. Since the keyboard is so laggy and inaccurate as to be broken, Im not paying for it. If they change it to use the system keyboard as is proper rather than rolling their own significantly worse one Id consider it. As it is, deleted.
We love this game but the ads make it difficult to keep playing, there is an advertisement after everything and whats worse even if the ad finishes you have to click done click arrow click the X to get back to your game. Dont see the logic in that, our sister n law introduced this to us when they came over from Spain right away she said the ads are ridiculous. She was right.
We were on level 600, when we updated it sent us back to the beginning with no way to retrieve our finished levels. Very frustrating. Great game otherwise.
The puzzles are fun but we cant see the entire puzzle to get a feeling of how much we have accomplished. We wish it would zoom in and zoom out with a pinch of our fingers like everything else on the ipad but it doesnt. We keep waiting for an update so Ill ask. Do you have plans to do an update on the puzzles visibility.
Its stimulates the mind. We really do like the game. The only problem we have is that we paid $5.99 to go ad free and Im still seeing ads. If the developers are reading this, please help fix the problem or please refund us our money. We did give 3 stars because we love the game but something has to be done about the ads seeing that Ive paid for it . Too many ads and something has to be done about that. Thank you.
Game eventually just makes it so everything you type is not spelled correctly even if it is.
This is a great game except you cant play a game without multiple ads! We wouldnt mind an ad between games, but 3-4 during each game. Sorry, will be deleting.
We like the game, but the bombardment of ads ruins it. We play one level maybe once a week if we have nothing else to do.
