Enjoyed passing some time playing this game.
Learning Python, this game is helping us get around infinite loops and using them to our advantage. This game is amazing, and we think the only thing that would make it even better is the ability to make our own puzzles :)
Wow! Totally get this, puzzles are tricky and its so addicting.

We just really, really wish we could listen to music while we play.
Needs to be updated. It wont even load because its not updated to the latest iOS.
Conditional level 2 has a bug, at least on our iPad, so cant move up level… Main problem is that there is no support.
Solved the puzzles, but we don’t think they are good in teaching you anything.
Gameplay is entertaining and thought provoking. As a software engineer is has been quite enjoyable to share with our kids, who love solving the puzzles too. A great app, and we hope more levels are being developed. This game could benefit from a puzzle editor and a community to share puzzles.
Simple to use with age-appropriate challenges, this puzzle game teaches basic programming concepts. Its like Apples old Logo refreshed for the iPhone and the iPad. Our twins love it, and our daughter loves that theres a girl robot. Well done, LightBot!
In the library media center all students and second and third grade were exposed to this coding app. It’s so engaging and they loved it.

Our daughters both love to mess around with Lightbot! Their school uses it to introduce computer coding concepts to kindergarteners and first graders each week and all the kids seem to enjoy it.
We suppose one could learn some basic programming concepts from Lightbot: sequential execution of instructions, conditional branching, procedure calls. But you wont learn anything about the larger programming concepts of objects or inheritance. Nevertheless we give it 5 stars because theyre simply great puzzles. It took us a couple weeks to work through all the challenge levels, and it was a lot of fun for $5. More like this, LightBot!

We loved how engaging this is for children. It would excite us to see when he would get frustrated and then continue and continue to try and how happy he was when he got the robot to work. Very easy for children to understand. He passed all levels in a matter of a few days. I’d rather him be on this app than any other app. We hope for more levels in the near future.

This nice-looking, smoothly executed puzzle game gives a fun introduction to thinking like a programmer. Programming concepts introduced include conditionals, loops, interrupt commands, and others. Our only disappointments are that there is no hint system for the three or four trickiest levels and that the game is relatively short, at 20 levels total. (But if the worst you can say about a game is "I wanted more!" that’s not too bad!)

Devs: please fix location on Main box in Conditionals level! The play button covers the code and deletes commands when you press it! Review: A Must Buy!!! Super cute and certainly not easy. Challenging for us and we are mid thirties! It’s extremely addictive. Not just for kids, will definitely get your brain working again for us oldies! It makes you think, and it is a fantastic logic puzzle in each new level. One if most engrossing games we’ve played. We’re so happy we took the chance and downloaded this one! It’s a great surprise!
Great Game! Our Computer Science Class Loves it! However, please fix the following things. In the conditional section the play button covers the main upper right box so the code cant be read.

Teaches the fundamentals of coding in an intuitive and fun way. We looked into it as part of the hour of code. The full version is worth the money. We loved the challenge levels at the end. We hope there will be more levels coming for all the stages.

It’s a lot of fun we used it last quarter in our project lead the way class.
We were curious how programming concepts would be made kid friendly and kid accessible. We are astounded, they did such a good job. Our 8 year old is picking it up amazingly quickly and is eager to do more, the mark of a good "game" which is quietly teaching. We are SO grateful for this enrichment for our son!
We found this app to closer to actual programming than other apps claiming to teach how to code.
It is a fun game on the cpu and we would imaging here to but it crashes on every level u try.
When we do a level, we are always going back to the home screen.

As a professional programmer, we thought the way they handled programming was inventive and appropriate for the app. It’s been fun coaching our children. We hope more levels come, or even better, a way to make our own levels!

We love the pc version but our iPod 4 gen app crashes before we can even start the 1st level! We tap on the speech bubble from the robot and we crash! Please fix!!!!!
