Really have enjoyed this so far its also nice you can beat AI and get a starter deck for each type of cards. PvP isnt bad either we dont feel like we need to spend to compete. All in all a very good game and a great time killer.
Been playing warhammer quite a bit, thought Id try this. Launch it into and thrown immediately into a tutorial with nothing else before it. A little weird but fine. Get to the part where it tells you to use the Flame Bat, Im holding 3 and it refuses to let us use 2 of them. A bit funky but whatever. We get to the very next part asking the same thing but cant use either of the bats we have. Reinstalling didnt help. A solid 0 stars if we could. Not worth the time.
Brings a tabletop game on the go taking your collection on the go. This isnt mtg online where u have to buy the cards twice and in our opinion more fun than mtg and no super combos that end the game in 2 turns. The game is very balanced and for those who are looking for a new tcg to play this is the place to go. Very good job on this game and we hope it topples magic one day. Cant wait to pick up a box of then next expansion after kindred. Thanks again for the amazing game.
We played the game for several hours and really enjoyed the experience. We decided to link our account to our android device. Before doing so we got a warning that said something like the other file is further along so we reversed our choice and for whatever reason our level 1 account was the one that remained. We dont feel like going through the entire tutorial again and unlocking all the starter decks again. We’ve uninstalled.
This game was our unexpected big buy at Gen Con 2018. Played 5 minutes of the demo and was hooked. Bought every starter deck and several boosters. Icing on the cake when we saw there was a full fledged app on iOS also. And it also let us scan in every card we had just received in boosters and starters so we could use them in the online game as well. The timing mechanic where the cards rotate every turn was very interesting also. Really enjoy the game.
The literal best card game we’ve seen.
The base mechanics seems nice and all but as a tcg we would say it needs something to stand out a little more. That and maybe a little more marketing since we barely heard of the game before trying out the app. Likewise the app doesnt have much f2p options so there is not much to do in the casual realm of the app as of now. We also have multiplayer cards but no multiplayer mode yet. Once we see more of this we would be more likely to recommend the game but currently it isnt hasnt developed enough.
Played multiple games and have not won one game. They give you a starter deck and they have you play other decks to win them and the deck you start with cannot beat them. Done before we can even start. Looks like it could be good but not going to spend money on a game that Im not even sure of.
Cant beat Cedrus in practice mode whatsoever. Constantly lose in three turns of less with every deck (except his, of course, since we cant even get it to see if we like it or not). Glad we played this before spending money on the IRL version.

We dont usually play card games but this game is amazing. We were wondering will there be a shop to buy packs cause Im at 300 coins.
We’ve played the original physical game and absolutely loved it. And this is a perfect adaptation to digital. We also love that you can scan all of your physical cards and use them in the game.
Its an amazing TCG to be honest. Its like hearthstone and MTG made a really successful baby. We played the physical card game for about a month and then this came out and Im really blown away. Such a good job with it!! To unlock everything you actually have to finish the tutorials and deck trials. Its all free!!! Be sure to scan tributes online for free boosters.

We found this game by accident because since we love card games and we were looking for something new we searched for one and stumbled on to this!! At first we thought it was going to be typical…. But the minute we started playing we instantly loved it !!! Way different from any card game we’ve played, polished graphics… Cool card mechanics… And good strategy!!! We just played online and works perfectly and pretty intense battles … Keep up the good work keep adding content and this game can go far coming from a true card gamer …. We see the potential this can have with more cards and heroes and different strategies introduced…. Got a winner !!!
This game reminds us of Chaotic a lot in that it is trying to be played using the real cards and also online. What’s holding it back a little bit for us is that the game itself is pretty average as far as TCG’s go and the fact that they haven’t really built up any Lightseekers lore or told any stories of the characters and world depicted on the cards. That is where Chaotic is bounds and leaps ahead of this new attempt.
Hi! We are having problems with the app. We accidentally linked accounts with our boyfriend and it deleted our account and replaced it with his. We cant figure out how to log him out and log in as us again! Help!
This TCG is great and very unique. And the crazy thing is tons of people still play this. We rarely wait more than a few seconds for a casual match. Seems to be still getting regular updates. If you are in the mood for a TCG that isnt just a hearthstone clone, give this one a shot.
Yo, this game is awesome. Its like if the Pokmon TCG had a cooler, but unknown brother. Swear Im not a bot. This is a good game.
We love how it introduces TCG in a different way by having corners. Timing is everything and nothing.

Good mechanics and decent card design. Terrible cash-grab tactics ruin the experience. Fun for a few days until you realize it’s completely impossible to grind for anything whatsoever. You’ll have to pay into an endless pit to advance. We spend thousands on games annually but not when they don’t value our time or that of free players.

Super easy to pick up, and is really fun with friends.
We really enjoy the game and its unique style of play, but while selling our cards, we sold a red rarity card that glitched our crafting currency to not be able to craft anymore cards. We had a couple thousand of it and then lost all of it to this glitch. Other than that, we have found the game very fun and challenging.
We’ve been playing for a while and like the card game itself but we dislike the constant changes being made to the game. We think a lot of the cards were fine the way they were.
We have been playing and its fun and addicting. But we’ve gotten to the point where we have to use a power card and we sont have a strike IV so we cant continue the game. Please fix this for us so we can continue playing and not wasting our time trying to get the strike IV itself or trying to fix…
This game used to be amazing, as we collected 90% of other physical cards for the original release. With the most recent version, ALL of our decks suddenly contained cards we apparently no longer owned. We dont see how this was possible because back before the cash grab, you all GAVE us the decks. This makes us sorry we invested a little money into this app. We love the newer features you have been implementing, but this game has really outgrown our interests. We would be less critical if when banning old cards, you replaced them with new ones or updated ones as you did with the crazed bomber in the tech deck. You have essentially taken away everything we have been earning since the beginning of the app, and are trying to force us to pay to buy new cards. No thanks.
Im not too demanding as a gamer, we can play almost anything and find myself immersed in virtual escapes quite often. If someone asked us to review lightseekers, Id say that game is easy to get into and has quite a lot going for itI appreciate the art style, the subtle lore, the attention to detail (and, more recently, gameplay balancing.) we’ve played for roughly a month and a half and have got to say we’ve enjoyed our first online card-game experience. Our one major issue as a somewhat seasoned player would probably be to provide an option for non-legacy (illegal cards which have been determined as unplayable in ranked mode) matchmaking on the unranked mode. For a game thats paid so much attention to detail, we cant help but wonder why this isnt an optionsometimes you might not want to play in ranked matchmaking… But also not want to play against illegal (broken) decks in the unranked alternative. We could feel our motivation to play this game gradually decreasing as match after match we’ve had to choose between one or the other, and it just took away from the experience. But hey, overall, its a fun game. We were able to play intermittently as a free player and got quite farmost mobile games reward players (even free ones) for loyalty and Lightseekers is no exception, which is great. This game is moving in the right direction. Id be interested in seeing where it ends up, because theres plenty of potential here.
This game is good but we closed it out to charge our iPad and now it will not log back in, honestly makes us sad that we were enjoying this game but cant get it to load now. Re-downloaded it but it will still not work. So unfortunately we will be permanently deleting this game.
We cant play, since the game says we need an update and there is no update. We spent a good deal of money on in-game cards thinking it would be great to manage virtual cards rather than physical cards. Now we have nothing but sunk investment and no way to play. There should at least be an offline option: let you manage and view cards while they fix bugs. That may encourage us to believe that our investment is not lost. Instead, we get a screen that sends us to the iTunes Store where we can buy music and movies.
We saw a review earlier stating that youre forced to buy a toy pack to receive cards ?? Extremely obscured statement with zero logic to the games generosity in their loot system. We’ve literally paid 5 dollars and pulled out 2 legendaries and tons and tons of epics ! You dont even have to spend a dollar ! We spent 5 to support this great game ! Thanks for being generous with the loot ! If youre like us .. An addict for loot games then this is for you ! Good luck.
We think light seekers is a perfect game because it gives you an opportunity to play with friends it helps to create decks be more smart and have fun.
We have been a dedicated player since beta. We are stubborn, ambitious and dedicated and used to love the challenges. We can usually pretty quickly figure out the strategy however the strategies dont work when you have things like the Thrillsquid where they can have more than 6 of a buff that causes you to not be able to do any damage. Clearly in this case you need to be able to remove the buffs. Seems like a simple enough strategy however you can only have three of the same card. We make a deck with three of a card that removes 2 buffs at a time which should work. It can be challenging when your needed cards never come up. All of this we could deal with and kept trying but when you finally get the cards and they somehow have 7 or 8 of this card it just gets stupid and boring. It is no longer fun or about strategy. Even switching up decks you should be able to try different strategies with favorite decks but they keep ruining, nerfing and screwing up the decks once you get used to a certain style of play. We used to love the dread deck and used Sicario but they screwed him up so bad he is no longer fun to play. Just wish theyd balance the game again. Still holding out hope that it will be fun again.

This is fantastic. In a world where there are a ton of options to play this game is deep and immersive. They WANT you to play their game so you can trasfer physical cards onto the digital and no other game does that.
Great card game. Probably one of the best balanced card games we’ve ever played. Great online and to play in real life with friends. That being said the campaigns are overly frustrating. We like a challenge but when you go up against clearly illegal decks it feels cheap and you feel cheated. It lost one star for that alone.
If you want a card game that is strategic and fun, this is it. The campaigns are challenging without being completely overtuned and impossible. We had never heard of this game before, and as a paper MTG player, we’re always skeptical of new card games. This game greatly exceeded our expectations.
Game is constantly trying to upsell you buying physical cards after every match. It’s bad enough that earning cards by playing is painfully slow but it seems the expectation is you MUST buy physical since some cards are ONLY available via those packs or toys to life figures. We were mostly interested in the campaign challenges only to find these are locked behind loot crates. Not only are they locked but the CPU literally cheats. They have non-legal decks that are absolutely infuriating to play against. They break all the deck building rules and this is not clear at all when start a match. There are also a series of UI issues such as not being able to see attachments on heroes, being given very little time to read a card that is being attached or played, notification badges that won’t clear, or the app ignoring drags. We have played CCGs for over 20 years and this is one of the more deceptive that we have played. A little more transparency up front would go a long way. When we tried to play casual we end up vs people who have obviously invested in the game. We have no issues dropping money on CCGs (I’ve spent thousands over the years) but when you have little chance of playing others who are using starters no thank you. We see a ton of potential here but it’s marred by some questionable choices.
We got the card game when we first saw it in the store and we’ve loved it ever since! And this app is no less.
So love this game however reason for the 3 stars is the latest patch introduced more gameplay elements via challengers, short campaigns. These features are great except for how they were executed. Let us explain that these challengers you face do not play by one of the games top restrictions as in the enemies are using a multitude more of the exact same card multiple times, sometimes back to back thus steamrolling you in 2-3 turns quite often. Nothing like sitting there watching the same cards fire off one after another, seen 4-5 of the same card sitting in the play field. As the rules state a 3 card max, then facing off against these new elements that obviously do no follow the games own rules is not any fun and might need to rebalance and make the opponents challenging without having to rely on having to overwhelm players with 4-6 of the same cards being played one after another especially high damage combo cards, yes there was more then one copy of those played as well(1 copy of a combo card per rules).
Mechanically excellent game with the utmost potential. However, without throwing in money either directly into the app or indirectly via purchasing physical cards and then scanning them in, progression is painstakingly slow. If youre going to go all in this game is a rewarding experience. If youre intending to stay completely free to play and you dont have friends who have physical cards Id advise you to stay away.
