A great logic game, also known as picross, nonogram, griddler, paint by number, and picgrid.
Reveal the underlying hidden picture by turning on the correct colored pixels based on numerical clues. Remembers your progress for each unfinished puzzle to allow you to continue later on. Very efficient touch interaction to achieve minimum solve times as well as unlimited undo. Includes 30 black-n-white and color puzzles spanning 4 difficulty levels. Additional puzzle packs available as in-app purchases for up to 10,000 more puzzles.
There are many griddler style apps out there, but this one is the best. It concentrates on the game play, maximizes screen real estate, efficient touch interaction, and providing a very large puzzle library.

This game is a lot of fun. The controls are very simple. And it’s addicting, plus you don’t need to be online to play. The packs are at a great price, and you get a ton of puzzles.
Love this game so much. Its always our go to no matter where we am.
We loved the old version but am not as wild about it since the update. The pictures are good, but don’t have the high quality of the old ones. It’s still the best picture logic game out there.
We have been playing this game for many years and have always loved this game. We’ve been avoiding upgrading to recent versions because of the poor reviews after each upgrade. We finally upgraded and was so bummed to see that you could no longer hold the "x" button (or whatever color filled in the spots that you determine to be blank in the puzzle) to have the game automatically fill in rows/columns which you have fully solved. It’s really annoying having to draw in the x’s when clearly you’ve already solved certain rows/columns. Please bring that feature back! We know it seems petty but the removal of that feature has ruined the game for us.
The upgrade is terrible. We’ve been playing this game for years, and now it’s so frustrating we’re looking for a different app. The pause button is right below the color selection palette, so we keep pausing the game. When we couldnt solve a puzzle we used to be able to select . Reveal solution. And move on to next puzzle. Now we have through the whole puzzle selection process. Then, when in complete the new puzzle and click next, it throws us back to the puzzle we couldn’t solve previously – EVERY time! Then we have to go through the whole selection process AGAIN!! We agree with all of these issues, AND we wish it would just keep the current game on the screen, instead of forcing the selection process.
One of the best picross user interfaces. The puzzles are abundant and cheap! One suggestion: please move the pause button as it’s easy to hit accidentally where it is. Highly recommended!
We have been playing this about two weeks now and really enjoy it. Used to do this activity on paper, but like it better on line. Two concerns however. 1. The puzzles that are shades of black are not doable. The shades all look alike and yes we have tried adjusting brightness and contrast on our iPad. 2. Which leads to a second concern. When we finish a puzzle and click next it goes back to the Undoable puzzle every time. Then we have to chose home, yes exit puzzle, then remember which pack we are in, at what level and if we are doing b/w or color. There should be a way to just go straight to the puzzle list we are working in and scroll to the next puzzle.
This is a fantastic app offering a huge variety of puzzles and difficulty levels. We absolutely love it!!

Up until we just updated this app, it worked great! Now after we finish each puzzle the screen freezes and we have to close/quit and reopen the app. Awesome game though!
We love nonograms and this is our favorite app by far. The add on packs are reasonably priced and we love the features. Highly recommend.
We’ve tried quite a few iOS and even desktop nonogram apps, and this one is easily the most usable. It’s little things, like the tapping the number clues to select the color, and the option to show or hide the palette to make best use of the screen real estate. The puzzles are satisfying, and there are a lot of them available for a reasonable price. Well done!
We just can’t put it down. We rarely write reviews. But we had to leave a review this time.
We used to do paper Nonograms, now known as Griddlers, and tried many of the apps to switch to an electronic format. This one is by far the best with great feel. Sometimes games rated as expert are way too easy but overall are fun to work on. Our only wish is that the pause button would not be so close to the color palette buttons. We’re always pausing by mistake if not careful.
Great game to play on the Ipad. Not super difficult and the designs are colorful.
Used to play Picross on our Nintendo DS and was THRILLED when we got our iPad and saw our beloved game was available – in MANY incarnations. This one is our fave by far… It is easy to use and doesn’t need many steps to change colors, rows, etc. Most importantly — for 99 cents you get a TON of puzzles to solve, where other games charge 2 or 3 times that much for only a fraction of the amount of puzzles. LOVE IT,!
We absolutely love this game but hated some of the changes in the prior update. This update fixes the problems and that makes us very happy. Thank you for restoring the darker grid lines to mark off groups of five, for moving the undo button that had been driving us nuts, and for showing the picture when the puzzle is completed. Now LogicPicColor is back to being our very favorite game!
We contacted the developer and he says the glitches are an iOS bug that he cannot workaround. Maybe iOS 7.1 will fix the problem. He also said that anytime the puzzle loads incorrectly, that it actually is correct but that the screen just needs to refresh. To force it to refresh just rotate your device to landscape and then back to portrait and it is fixed. We can’t believe so many people are griping about so many things. We like that color puzzles are separated from black and white. We only like playing color puzzles so this makes it very easy to find them. Who wants to scroll through a long list of puzzles looking for number of colors bigger than 2. Also, the new feature of resuming play of any unfinished puzzle is awesome! We no longer have to play just one at a time. No other app of this kind can beat the cost per puzzle nor the shear amount of puzzles available.
Since you’ve updated it to work on the iPad .. LOVE IT!! Challenging .. But you can play at any level you’re comfortable with. What I’d really like is to be able to purchase packages that only had games at the level we wish to play at, without all the levels we don’t play.
After the recent update, we purchased pack 6. There are now many glitches, the number margins don’t show and we can’t play the game. Please fix ASAP!
Before the Jan 2014 update we LOVE LOVE LOVED this game but now it keeps messing up. If the puzzle loads we can’t always play. Sometimes it loads 2 puzzles (one horizontal the other vertical). The next button does nothing. This was addicting, we played everyday. Now we can only hope it gets fixed. We also bought pack 10 which seems to be giving us lots of problems, more than the original packs. If these glitches were fixed we would, again, recommend this game. It helps with logic reasoning.
Excited to have new puzzles but the new interface is awful. The multi-square background is difficult on the eyes; the pictures don’t look as nice as they did; if you have the "X" turned off you can barely tell the difference in the colors; if you’ve finished all the puzzles in a pack, you get an error when you finish a puzzle (trying to beat a previous time) saying that there are no more unfinished puzzles, um, ok! This used to be one of our favorite ways to pass the time, now it’s just no fun.
Either Loads two puzzles at the same time. One vertically and one horizontally or leaves the picture from a previously played puzzle on the screen. Impossible to play. Very sad. Can no longer play. Doesn’t update. We even tried deleting everything and reloading it. It worked for awhile then stopped again. Please fix this so we can give it 5 stars.
This is one of our favorite gamesI don’t delete this one or get tired of it. 99¢ for 1500 puzzles is pretty amazing, we’ll say. Updated review: App update is great! So excited for all the restored features.

Since the newest update most of the puzzles will not load. Repeatedly attempting to reload puzzles has turned this from one of our favorite apps to a pain.
It was crashing after the update, but it was fixed very fast. Works great now! Needs the dark line every 5 lines, but the author promptly responded to our email & assured us it will be fixed soon.
Before the update we loved playing this game and then when it got updated it just crashed on our when we tried hitting the play button.
We are very disappointed with the latest update. We feel like all of the features that made us love the game before are gone. Without the bolder lines every five spaces, it’s harder to tell where to put colors. Also, we find it annoying that, not only can you not look at the picture when you’re done, you can’t go straight to the next puzzle. We honestly don’t understand why these changes were made, and we would appreciate it if there was at least an option to restore these features, especially the first one we mentioned.
Options say you can pick background color, but it doesn’t change. Grid lines are gone making it very hard to tell where to put marks. Screen no longer rotates to match position of our tablet. No longer a fun game to play. PLEASE FIX!
Shame on us for not reading the reviews before installing the update! There are so many things not working. We even lost the puzzle pack we had previously purchased. Not a happy camper. Please go back to the earlier version.
We used to love this app and played almost daily. Since the update we have been really frustrated, mostly with the lack of the thick lines between every five boxes. Please fix soon!!
This was our favorite logic puzzle game until it was updated. Like others, we miss the guide lines and can’t stand a line not starting with the first block. We also miss being able to put tentative colors when we wasn’t positive about the placement. It is also nearly impossible to see white blocks since the background is so light. We hope there is another update quickly. We don’t really have much of a desire to play this anymore.
We’ve been a user for quite some time now. Since the update today, the new features are frustrating. As you try to drag across the first box you touched doesn’t get marked. The thick lines showing every five boxes are gone, making it really hard to see how many boxes have been marked. This used to be such a great game to play. Update again soon!
When will we get an update to add back some of the useful features like dark guide lines, ability to mark empty spaces of solved lines with x and the ability to go to next puzzle directly. We have already lost our high scores on all puzzles in first 3 packs just trying to get some basic functionality and stop the app from crashing. Not happy… This was our favorite app prior to the update.
It’s hard to articulate how bad this update is. This app was the best Picross game but the redesign ended its reign.
The best pic cross we’ve played. A mix of color cross and regular one color pic cross. Free puzzles and you also can buy over 500 puzzles for 99 cents. A++++++
When u click on a space it puts the color in it and then changed it please fix thanks other than that we love the game.
Positives – best graphics and most colorful of this type. Love the look of the boxes. A TON of games for 0.99, vs 3-6ish for 20 puzzles for our other fav. We do wish that a double tap could set an x in the box., and a third would make empty, etc. We like that there is a way to mark guesses (will be great for newbies). Going back to the page with continue and options should include a choice for picking a different puzzle. There are a lot of free puzzles, at all levels, too. Beware that changing options quits the app (both iPhone and mini) after one or two changes. Second, it’s about impossible to play bigger levels on the iPhone. Note: we only write long reviews for apps that we like. Great job, developers!

We really enjoy this game bit couple notes: As others have said, it’s hard to tell some of the colors apart It really is impossible to play higher than the intermediate or advanced on an iPhone because you can’t see the numbers.
We would love to be able to listen to music while we play. Every time we open the app, our music players pause, and they won’t restart as long as we have the app open.
We love this type of puzzle, and some of the design of this app is great, but it needs work. The biggest problem by far is the color choice. The colors you select between do not agree with the colors on the side and top of the puzzle. This alone makes some of the puzzles very difficult as you have to remember that light gray in one area corresponds to medium gray in the other, for instance. The other problem is that some of the colors are nearly impossible to tell apart. This makes some of the puzzles darn near impossible. Fine if you are just playing the free version and skipped puzzles are free, but we would be mad if we paid for puzzles we couldn’t do.
We recently updated our iPhone, and downloaded this app. It didn’t save our completed puzzles, but that was alright because we haven’t had this app for a while because of space issues. The only problem is that we are almost positive that we had purchased one or two of the level packs, but there is no way of knowing because there is no "restore purchases" button. We loved this game, but we really would like it if we don’t have to pay twice to get what we already paid for. If you fix this issue, this app is easily worth 5 stars. Until we can restore our purchases, though, it will remain at three.
This app is fine until you get to the larger puzzles. On an iPhone, you simply cannot see the clues without tapping a separate window to open, which blocks your view of the puzzle, making it nearly impossible to figure out where you may have made a mistake. It also gives you a "green light" when you’ve placed the correct number of colors in a row, rather than when you’ve placed them in the correct squares. With no hint button of any kind, solving the larger puzzles is pretty much impossible thanks to these poor design features. Oh well, at least the price is right!
