Community Insight:

Love these games. Each has a unique story that is engaging. The graphics are beautiful, too.

From the puzzles to the story its so interesting and fun. Very stimulating game that really has you thinking the whole time. So entertaining we absolutely love that its a whole series that has its own stories but keeps following the same character.

We are almost 5o years old and maybe thats odd to play games at this age but thats how we relax after a busy day. We like smart games instead of just shooting things or match candies, etc. We absolutely love these games! We are downloading #6 and we hope there are another 100 of them . Love that they are free obviously but we always end up purchasing hints. Which are in our opinion very inexpensive comparison to other games (note to developers: keep the pricing please). So all and all best games ever! Next step would be making them more interactive.? Thank you guys! Great job.

We love these games !! We hope they never run out.

We love, love, love these. To the Developer, Thank you so Much! For providing this type of entertainment. You have a few that we want to play after the Lost Land series. Sure hope that you keep this game type coming.

We absolutely love all of the Lost Lands games so farIm on #6. We do wish you could get more coins from watching videos. Either 5 second videos for 1 coin or 30 sec for 15 coins for when you need to skip a game and youre a few coins short.

We love this game but it can be frustratingly hard. The hints are ok. Its not bad that its difficult it just that we wish we didnt have to use hints so much. Some of the h8 stuff are vague which is adds to the frustration.

All we have to say is thank goodness for walkthroughs and YouTube videos of these games. They are too complex for us to play without them. Still enjoyable.

We have 83% of the game complete, but we need 5 rung to repair the ladder going up in the attic and we only have 4. Ive spent $3 to complete that task but it wont work because we need 5 rungs. We really like the game but our quest ends here. Theres no way to find the other board, really disappointed.

We dont like to use helps but got stuck. In Pantagonia we are supposed to push a rock. No rock moves. Yep, checked the exact one per your site and it wont move. It is hard to play a game more than half way through to get stuck.

The watch ad button conveniently doesnt work often and you need to buy coins to proceed.

In the captains quarters the player is supposed to go to his table and click on some objects after doing the organ puzzle. Thing is, we cant click anywhere near that table, without the organ sheet music popping up. The other puzzles are similar; the player doesnt need to be anywhere near the puzzle/whatever to have it be the only thing that the game provides. Ive noticed it in other parts of the game and wondered if it was going to mess our play up. And it looks as if it has, since theres no other way to get to those objects. Ive played your Darkness and a New York Mysteries games. None of them were remotely this kind of buggy. Can you bring those developers back to fix this game.

We love the puzzles; graphics are wonderful; and the stories are interesting! Five-BN becomes better in developing more logic driven clues. Finding the next object at the beginning (e.g. Lost Lands 1) was much more random, and we had to rely most on memory (and hints). With each release, you are making the games better by reducing randomness, replacing it with our ability to reason where we can find the object to move the story forward. This is our second time through the entire Lost Lands series, and you just get better and better! Thank you.

We love how the story line continues through all of them.

Really have been enjoying this series and it really is possible to not spend anything. Watch the ads while you are doing something else. They go by fast, even to get enough to skip a puzzle here and there.

Ive played 1 – 3 and loved them all. This game has many of the same elements that attracted us to Lost Lands. If you love following a quest with trials and tribulations these games are for you.

We have played 1-3 of the lost lands they were fantastic, really made us think, beautiful graphics, #4 is no less awesome except the graphics arent as nice as the other 3. But am looking forward to playing 5 and beyond.

Surprisingly well produced for a hidden object game. Story line and puzzles very addicting and fairly intuitive.

Im completing them in order and loving the whole journey.

Best games Ive ever played,1 & 3 are the best so far & 4 is awesome. Plse make more of these games (we def have a few ideas) we need a hints which are 30 sec videos! 3 was a lil more challenging cos of all the areas! We played 13 skulls & thought it was the best-bring that back.

Makes you want to keep playing. Great puzzles.

Thats nice but.. We paid for all the bonus chapters and was happy to do so. Now Ive lost all the hints that came with the purchase.

Its a great story line, Id recommend starting from the Lost Lands 1 working your way through to the end. Challenging and not money hungry. Ive been able to figure out many puzzles without hints.

Started with #3 and went back to do 1 and 2. Am now up to 4 and having a fun time.

Im hoping and praying these guys stay on the light side of the yin Yang of light and darkness. The world has so much evil we love playing technical games like this that DON,T feed the darkness if you will. Make a better day for someone every day. A smile will often do it.

We love love love lost lands! Fantastic, genius creators. #4 was not our favorite. Totally different vibe. When we found LL, we gathered a small tribe to join in the fun. As we were playing this one we commented on the difference and it felt like maybe they gave an intern a shot at their own game. Too much story line/commentary Lots of manuscripts that just told a story but were not very helpful. More jumping around than usual and when the game ended we felt like there were more clues that went unsolved but we couldnt go back to check. Still enjoyed the game finished it and the bonus chapter. Just a different feel. Looking forward to #5.

Just started playing this one but the font is much smaller than previous games. On a phone so well see if it becomes too annoying as there are so much to read. Best escape games out there though. Just wish font was easier to read.

Loved the first Lost Lands so much that we finished and downloaded every remaining game. Theyve progressively gotten longer with new puzzle styles and slightly more difficultly variations but Lost Lands 4 has lost its luster with the extremely difficult puzzles. Ive been ok watching a few ads to get hints but we cant keep up with some of the puzzlesIm completely skipping 4 in hopes of 5 being better. We love a challenge with the puzzles but play these games to relax and if it requires us to spend an entire day trying to figure out, its not worth it for us. Puzzles aside: great storyline and graphics. The games are great and usually so much fun.

These games are usually pretty good, but some of the recent games have bugs or gameplay flaws that just dont allow you to reset or move forward. Ive contacted the creators and they insist it has to be mu iPad version. Why would certain objects not be available because of a driver version? We even checked the problem using the extensive walkthroughs they provide and it just doesnt match whats in the game.

Loved this game until we started getting charges to our account for coins that we did not purchase.

We just started playing and you already get 5 stars for putting in the Lost numbers in the game.

Great combination of length, puzzles, and hidden objects.

Great games in this series, and so long! Some puzzles are annoying, and game 3 was really glitchy, but we mostly always enjoy these FiveBN games.

We dont know if its not working. We just started it and cant get pass entering the new code in the picture frameit wont go any further.

Some hard but not impossible puzzles.

Love the game however, we wish the credits /unused hints would transfer to the next game.

Overall this isnt our favorite of the lost lands series, but its still a good game with interesting puzzles. Our main complaints are issues with the map overlaying itself across multiple areas, and the back button disappeared that takes you from the area with the blade back to the dungeon. This is a newer glitch because we havent seen it before, but we hope it gets fixed soon.

Downloading 4 now. A great mind teaser adventure. Makes you think, great graphics, some of the most clever puzzles to solve. Always a great story line… First class.

These games are super awesome. Just download it. Only request would be for 20 more.

We paid for the bonus chapter after the game just to say thank you for making a F2P game that's so well developed and can really be played for free. Really liked discovering portals and secret places, and the narrative element (the great Susan!).

UPDATE AFTER FINISHING: Wow Ive never spent so much time in a game like this. Very long, detailed game. It did descend into ghoulish happenings occasionally which we find a kinda lazy storytelling device, but not too often. GOOD TO KNOW: F2P means free to play but you either pay for hints and skips, or use the BigFish walkthrough online, which hampers gameplay and gets old quick. According to the dev response to our review here, you can now pay $6.99 for a full unlock version we wish Id done this, its well worth the money for such a long, excellent game. Also in this F2P version you still have to pay $1.99 to unlock the bonus game, which is a frustrating discovery after playing the main game for so long. ORIGINAL REVIEW AFTER PLAYING 1 HOUR: Ive been playing games like this since before iPads even existed, so we know when we stumble across a gem. This game (and Im assuming others in the series from the same dev) is just so far superior in every way from all the other games of this ilk that usually have dumb storylines (yawn… Ghosts anyone?) annoying music, and puzzles that are too easy, or make zero sense. Everything is intelligent and so well thought out. The graphics are beautiful. The music is cinematic and doesnt loop irritatingly, it stops (as it should) after a while if you stay longer than a certain time in a scene. Overall the exceptional music draws you into the experience instead of making you want to turn the volume down. The voiceover actors and their accents are actually good! The storyline makes sense and doesnt lazily sink into ghouls and spirits to explain every otherwise nonsensical plotline. Overall the combination of so many well-crafted elements makes this game immersive from the very start usually Im quickly bored and wanting hints/skips to get along, and never really drawn in. But this game is a completely different experience we havent had since Myst and Riven captivated us years ago. Im excited to play the others in this series, and wish there was more on iPad from this dev as itd definitely pay for it. A couple of tips for the dev, because we work in the music, copywriting and graphic design industries, and have also built websites for years, so we have pretty good observations to share… You need to explain what F2P means in your game description. We happen to know what it is, but the majority of players wont understand that this means they can play the whole game for free unless they want to buy pay-as-you-go variously priced packages to fund hints and skips. Make it clear then people wont whine about it in reviews. And finally… You might want to reconsider the F2P model entirely, because the solutions for any puzzles we couldnt figure out were easily found online. This game is so beautifully done we would gladly have paid $6.99 or more to unlock it.

The lost lands games are really good.

Cant stop. We keep going back to it all, getting nothing done. Lol we plan on playing the whole series.

We really like Lost Lands games. Please make more,.

The first three versions were spectacular. Fun and puzzles were challenging without being impossible. This version has some impossible puzzles that are designed for you to want to skip…but that costs $$. The saw blade puzzle was ridiculous. If you read some comments on forums, players have quit the game because of this extremely difficult puzzle. And one other negative… They placed the back button right over top of the inventory items. So when you click on an item and dont want it, many times you will hit the back button and go to a different scene. Dumb.

For some reason on symbols on the column The third symbol wont work. We have tried everything. So far every game has worked flawlessly, so we are a bit disappointed to have to stop at this point. We have been hooked on these games lately, we are so glad we came across them. Difficult yet fun.

We spent money on Lost Land 3 and we pass it but still have coins up there (110). Why didnt it rollover to Lost land 4.
