We love this genre of games and have been playing through the series. The puzzles are a good mix between intuitive and being totally lost for a little while. Keeps it fun. Looking forward to the next ones.
Ive played them all and some of them multiple times. It amazes us how addicting Five-BN games are to play. Ive searched and trialed other games like DO, Big Fish, Friendly Fox and Alawar. Alawar owns Five-BN but even playing just Alawar games isnt the same. If it says Five-BN then buckle up and stock up on the drinks and snacks because its hard to stop playing once you start. We wish they had more games but they are a small company. Some of the greatest designers in the business. We periodically read forums digging for unknown games by Five-BN but there are no more until the next new one. If Five-BN reads these reviews then just know you are amazing and have brought so much joy to this old man. With minimal enjoyable things in todays world, you guys are a shining star. You guys/gals are the pillar of our gaming world. Thank you.

Good stories and inventive puzzles. We just get lost sometimes because of so many different locations. A great series.
We wont play any other games but the ones made by this company. We have played a lot of other games but after one or two trys we deleted. These we play all the way through. Thanks and please make more lol.
We love Five BN games. We especially love the different puzzles and challenges they offer. However, we must submit a 4 rating because sometimes the game will not allow the puzzle to complete or solve. This is not a user error and we have throughly checked to make sure Ive done the puzzle correctly. In Lost Lands 5, the train track puzzle wouldnt allow us to insert the final two tracks in their proper place. It kept lighting a red area to indicate that you couldnt use the tracks there. We reworked the puzzle from the top down and from the bottom up. Both ways it lit a red area even though it was the proper track. We finally had to use our precious coins to skip the puzzle so we could go on with the game. There are still a few bugs that need to be worked out.
Truly, this is an excellent game! We have been making our way through all of the Five BN series of games we like them so much! The New York Mysteries series is well worth the downloads as well! These games have just the right amount of challenge for us to figure out. We dont want to spend hours on the most challenging puzzles on the planet, but we do enjoy figuring out puzzles, and Five BN games hit that mark every time! However, there is a glitch in this particular game which is halting our progress. Once in the dark woods, just before meeting the fairies, there is a mini puzzle which requires you to hang the correct combination of pipes on a wind chime. For whatever reason, we are not able to hang the 6th pipe, whether correct or not, the game doesnt allow us to hang any chime in its spot. The game really cannot continue without completing this task, so Im really hoping that this comment is seen and the bug will be fixed so that we can continue on with this game. Keep up the great work, guys! We really do love these games.
The farthest right chime will not attach to the base. Im certain Im doing it right, even went and found a walkthrough just to make sure. Ive restarted the game three times. All the other chimes are fine. Ive tried solving it left to right, and right to left. What do.
We want to play the 5th lost lands but our mom played it before us and said it was Extremely gory, she said it was a good game but too gory. We have played the 1234th ones but Im sad that this game is too gory. Im not a fan of too much blood. :(.
Great storyline and game play like the other games. Only down side is that several of the mini games have bugs and youre unable to actually complete the puzzles or games and have to skip them. Noticed this in a lot of their other games too.

This Game is so fun and doesn't glitch at all the story is interesting challenging and fun and we totally recommend.
Not quite as good as the first 2, but a good step up from 3 and 4. The puzzles and solutions all make sense. They do a much better job of not overwhelming the player with too many hanging clues; as you move through the areas everything gets wrapped up so you can focus on the new area. Solid story, and as always beautiful art. If anything, this one might have been a little too easy. But its a small complaint, overall very enjoyable.
Ive began playing the Lost Lands series recently. These games are AWESOME! They have an interesting storyline and wonderful graphics. Some of the game play and puzzles can be completed with ease and others are a challenge. We are thoroughly enjoying these games and plan to play them all. Thanks for the mind-stretching entertainment.
Its a great game wish you would make many more! Only problem when you watch the videos to get coins just about every other video it doesnt give you a coin. So Ive watched and lost so many coins. Frustrating to say the least.
We would like to suggest a one time hint package for money or to have a way for the coins to carry across to all your game platforms. In turn it will be a way for others to search your games.
We have enjoyed these lost lands games, we already played the first 4 before playing this one. This isnt a problem we had with any of those, but this 5th storyline keeps glitching out on the mini games so that we have to watch videos to get coins and skip past because it physically wont let us do the mini game. This happened several times in the main game and has already happened at least once in the bonus chapter so far. We wish this would get fixed because we really like these games, but building up 10 coins is time consuming.
Played this game many years ago. Now we cant because of in app purchases. Not worth the money for coins.
Susan is becoming part of fantasy hero lore! Seriously you guys did an amazing job with each installment of this series, making the stories rich enough to carry a clicky game and then some! Susan belongs up there among the ranks of other famous game heroes. We have a question though: the voice of the dwarf in this one, is that Rafael Ferrer? He sounds exactly like the character Skorpio from the Archer episode by the same name.
Five BN hooked us with their New York series and we have been addicted to the genre and this particular developer ever since. As a casual gamer we dont mind buying hints now and again. Five BN makes it worth every penny and their final product just keeps getting better it seems.

These Lost Land games are the best games that we have played from the App Store. Not just the best free games but the best games.
This was our favorite story so far! The cutscenes were far more interesting to watch with switching povs, the money was an interesting addition, the puzzles were challenging, and the characters were great! The museum was such a fun switch up and that ending!! We cant wait to see what happens next in Susans story now that weve seen that cliffhanger! We love that we see the same friends again and again, aging as the time between worlds differs. The bonus chapters are so fun too, expanding the lore and showing how things we already knew came to be.
We really love it! One change we would request is to help finish the collections by guiding us to the area of the ones we've missed. In every game, we have been missing one of this or one of that so we are unable to enjoy some of the bonus content. Throughout the game we tapped on every square millimeter of every scene and we can't imagine going back through every single scene of the game to find the one missing piece without a clue as to where we should look. If you could drop us into the scene where we can find the piece, we wouldn't leave feeling like we failed to finish the game. Someone in reviews mentioned the same scenes were reused in this release. We loved seeing some of the areas from the past. We mean, it is a world, and of course you will revisit some of the same places. You all have done such an awesome job with this series.we're enthralled with the characters, bird songs, plant life, lore. So much detail! Thank you. Be safe.

Love this game. Was a little lost in 4 but LOVED #5!!! The vibe was back. Loved the challenge/adventure! The writers, artists and creators should be commended! Its engaging, fun, challenging at times and rewarding. Super excited for #6.
We were wary of this genre of games. Usually, they are very low end with crude graphics, lame puzzles, unimaginative story lines, and requirements to pay money after you get sucked into the game. The Lost Lands series are all great, and keep getting better. Very well done graphics, real voice actors with believable dialog, a nice music sound track, very interesting and creative story lines, and some of the most innovative puzzles that are often challenging, but all doable. They have an ample free hint with each puzzle, and if you get stuck or just want to move on, the cost is to watch an ad, which runs from 5 to 30 seconds max. You can actually buy hints for money, but we would never do that. Im guessing this business model is working for Five BN because they pump out a lot of good stuff.

These games are incredible, but what happened to the option to adjust difficulty and the strategy guide? Anyone.
First off Five-Bn has set a whole new standard in escape games. We only compare their games to themselves. So Lost Lands 5 easily blows other developers escape games away. But compared to the 1st 4 in this series its the least of the bunch for us. Not as much heavy lifting this time through. Pretty straight forward. Maybe 1/2 page of notes as opposed to at least a page or more from other games. Still great to play though. Story lines and graphics are next level. As far as puzzle glitches, as some were worried about, we did not experience any functional glitches anywhere. We did, however, have to carry the info card on the dragons venom bottle with us the whole game. No biggie. On a side note. For an environment of few people they sure lock everything up and tend to lose keys a lot. Keeps us busy though. Finally, we love the fact were not inundated with ads. You only watch as many as you need for hints. Or none at all if you wanna buy coins packs. Fantastic model. Great work Five-Bn.

Love many of their games. This is so easy it plays itself. Basically just tap stuff and the game progresses. A little boring.
The game was great until we hit a snag. There is a glitch that allowed us to accidentally remove an item from our inventory. The item disappeared and we cant harvest it again from the game. If we want to finish the game, Ill have to completely start over.
Ive played all the previous Lost Lands and there is an increasing trend to have more HOPS or mini-games as part of the process. This version seems to have one every couple of moves which is really frustrating. Not only are there too many of them, but the bulk of them are so convoluted that logic alone does not come into play figuring them out we have had to resort to online walk-throughs to get solutions, and, even then, the sequences arent always clearly explained, so we wind up spending a LOT of time watching ads so we can earn 10 credits and skip the whole thing to get whatever part is there. This one, too, has very little plot we have no idea what the purpose of this one is, its just hunt and seek and play stupid HOPs. We dont know if Im even motivated to finish it.
We are so upset, we love all games by this developer, however this game has a bug or something and wont let you complete the wind chime puzzle. The last one wont hang and we are so frustrated to have made it as far into the game as we did just to have to delete it because of a glitching puzzle. We recommend most of the games just skip downloading this one unless you want to pay $3 to skip the puzzle that glitches.
Good storyline and some fun puzzles. Some of the things you need to figure out are ridiculously impossible forcing you to use clues for jokingly difficult to find items.
In response to developers suggestions: (1) you are greedy. Its much less expensive for players to pay for a game and have free hints. We should also have puzzles that do not require a ton of steps or money to skip. (2) there is no reason for anyone to use a VPN unless they wish to hide their identity/location, and we see no relation from this suggestion to our review. ( try using VPN ) INITIAL REVIEW: Ridiculous to have to buy coins for hints or to skip difficult puzzles. The first move the snow puzzle at the beginning of the game requires approximately 28 steps to complete or 10 coins to skip. We checked online for the puzzle solution, and thats where we saw all of the steps it would take to complete the puzzle. Disappointed.
We were made to pay $7.99 to download this game. Id paid nothing for 1-4. We assumed this meant we wouldnt need to pay for hints. Nope. Theres no difference except that we were made to pay $7.99 to download it and now we feel ripped-off.
