Enjoy playing this game. Have played it on a desktop computer also. Nice distraction.

We’ve been playing this game for years. We’ve learned many different strategies and its still challenging at times. Its kept our interest over the years and we really enjoy coming back to it if we havent played it in a while. Great Risk-Like strategy game. Kids can even learn about the different regions of the US, including topography and how it might affect a large scale battle. Big thanks to the developer!

We play on mobile and iPad! Its a little tricky. But when you know the rule you will beat AI easily! When you conquer a city you will increase army next round. When you not powerful enough, you could choose hold in the city and wait next round!

We’ve played the original lux for years and this is a nice change of pace. The AI could be smarter, but still a very nice change of pace. We love that there are no ads!

Last update (?) player info started covering lower left corner of board. Before, it was smaller & movable. Now its not. Can this be fixed? Love the game.

This game is completely luck, you could have almost the entire country but the other teams can just get cards and win instantly. Its so stupid.

We used 4 armies to attack a place but failed.

This game is terrible dont play it The AI Multiples Thier Soliders more and more and gets 200 and takes over when they only have a single territory we cant switch out of fortify mode.

Have changed strategies over our time playing. Most fun is to defend positions and only allowing myself to take one state each turn. Generally makes the game last an hour or more.

Enough like Risk to be a good mobile phone game. It no longer works on our iPad, no clue why.

Feature Request: we would like to be able to turn off the audio.

A we becomes predictable after playing. It beats looking out the window of a plane.

Of all the games we own, this is the one we keep coming back to. The OS10 version looks great too!

Much like the board game of risk, except that you just play against the U.S. The AI is pretty good, but after a while you can beat it fairly consistently. Still fun to play the war. Great job!!

Thanks for fixing this app so quickly!

This game is great! It is a strategic game that deals with odds. Yes sometimes you lose big time, but sometimes you win big time as well. One FYI, when you have been in a game for a bit, if your screen times out and shuts off your game crashes and starts over.

Addictive, fun and great little risk-like game.

Thanks for the update so it works with iOS 10.

We find the USA version of LUX to be slightly more challenging than the Risk clone they make. Overall it’s a good game, good enough graphics for what it is and keeps us entertained.

Actually, our favorite. Had it for years. Thanks for the update with the new IOS. One thing, the new baby blue color… Not digging it!

This is an interesting and fun version of Lux. Thank you for fixing the IOS 10 problems quickly.

Relatively fair game play compared to other games. We love trying out different strategies to win. Hasn’t frozen and kicked out like once did. Very addictive game and a great way to kill 10-20 mins. Developers should take a bow.

We have been playing this game since we got our first iPhone 6 years ago and we still love it. A quick game and back on with our day.

Not a complaint….. With the new update this game has become way harder.. 7 out of 10 games, the computer is taking us out within the first three turns lol.. However we like the challenge!!

Well made game. Contains great strategy elements.

We liked it so much we bought the full version. It’s simple and fun yet still challenging.

After 30 minutes we won, it more fun than risk after you get a hang of it, start with the south-east from Houston on. We then captured LA and moved on to the North east, and closed in on the west.

We would like it if you could play online and other little things but other than that it’s a really great app.

Excellent Strategy Game- lots of variables.

With the new update to iOS, cannot open the app. Hope it gets a fix.

Yes after months of waiting u guys finally fix the bugs and the music is back to :) the game is fun to although we dont no why ppl are complaing about how hard it is, its all about strategy u guys!!!! Our only complaint is that u guys took WAY to long to fix the bugs and u cant even save the game -_- over all we are glad we get to play this game again with out any crashes :)

Took a little getting used to, but now we love it. Only two complaints. 1.) we can’t quit and come back to continue our game. If we quit we lose all our progress and have to start over. Needs a continue game option. 2.) the reinforcement option is a lil Wierd. Can only reinforce across two territories :( This is why only a 4 star. But love it!

We like the swift action of five players while still obtaining a strategy game. We hope developers add Canada and Mexico to the map.

This game is like Risk, except it is only the USA that you are conquering. Beware that some of the rivers form barriers that can’t be crossed to attack or defend. The first few times you play will be to familiarize yourself with the game. The computer players aren’t too smart, but usually there will be one enemy that is smarter than the others.

We have been playing the iPhone/iPod version for years and always liked it except for some bugs where the app would quit in the middle of the game or just freeze while moving armies from one country to another after a move. This app is different, even the layout and possible paths for attack (i.e. Across the Gulf of Mexico from FL to TX) which are different from the iPhone version. Additionally, the app does not work correctly on the new iPad (3). It is very slow and has a lot of lag. When you attack a country and want to stop the moving of armies to the conquered country by removing your finger, the armies keep moving on, sometimes until all are moved, making it very difficult to play a specific strategy or attach multiple countries from the same (left & right). Please fix. PS: What is the deal with the ‘subtitle’ that reads "War Zone USA" ? Update 04/2015 – too bad this app hasn’t been updated in years. It still works on IOS 8.3 but now it does not save the game when you close it, put the phone to sleep or switch to another app.

This a fun game that we love playing. But something is wrong with it on the new iPad. It runs abnormally slow. Run it on an iPad 1 or iPad 2 and things work just fine. But on the new iPad the app really struggles. Notice that the app has not been updated since March 2012. This app needs the speed problem fixed.

We don’t understand how it’s too hard, we haven’t lost once… However, computer turns take too long… Way too long.. If we’re in an intense game with thousands of armies, it takes hours for the computer to take its turn. Kinda ruins having fun when you’ve pretty much won but don’t want to end it..

Needs to be updated to work on the new iPad. It does work but its EXCRUCIATINGLY slow. We love this game but get this problem fixed ASAP please.

This game is great but if u join after not playing for a while it starts over.

This game won’t even open for us anymore. Since the update, it instantly crashes. Hopefully you all can fix this soon. It’s one of our go-to games. Just the right amount of difficulty with AI. Keep it up! :-)

We like the map, but you are not able to customize your options which kills the fun after several games. It becomes redundant.

We are an avid risk, lux, and vox player, and while we love the set-up of this map, the odds almost always favor the computer, both on offense and defense. Until that is fixed, this version is not fun to play.

If you like other Sillysoft products you’ll probably like this one. If you don’t, this one wont change your mind.

This is not a game of strategy. Perhaps it’s based in one, but something is off in the programming that throws that all away. Forget those times when your army of five or six gets slaughtered trying to take over a territory without anything on it, sometimes the computer will decide to award itself 50+ units and wipes the board after its been all but defeated.

Is anyone else noticing a slow-down in performance on the New ipad? Our ipad2 is much smoother………

The USA map is different on iPhone and ipad. How is southern Texas connected to southern Florida?? Stupid developers need to look at a map sometime.
