Community Insight:
Ive had this app for forever and only recently decided to conquer every bit. We only just now beat the game using the green watering can, which was our last star to acquire. Question: are there only 139 points to collect during the game? Or am we missing more? Finding Easter eggs on Reddit threads seem to not exist. AnyhooThere are bits that are insane to beat, but for the diligent player, they can be conquered. We love the choices of relics we have to play that make it different each game. You quickly figure out which relics work best where. The graphics are cool, as theyre totally reminiscent of the early Atari and NES days. We sure hope you someday will add on extra levels, as it seems to leave it a little open-ended. Pretty please do add on. We know its been a while since you first developed the game, but for us diehards, we implore you. Thanks for a great game.
This was a very great game, we love the art style! We're writing this after we 100%ed the game. When we were bored we always played this game, we're sad it has to end. One of our favorite games!!! Also could you add an ending when you get all stars.
This is truly one of the best mobile games we have ever played. We have put hundreds of hours into this game, unlocked everything there is to unlock, and we still find new and fun strategies to break the game. It has amazing charm, depth, strategy, and replayability. We cannot recommend this game enough.
The Titan boss is crazy hard tho.
Such a fun game – the tutorial does a good job of introducing you to the controls, and once you play a few levels they really start to click! The art is very endearing, the level design is smart and engaging and the ability to choose different items/upgrades as you progress makes for great replay-ability. Highly recommend this game.
We love this game, it's simple but challenging, and we've already collected all the stars. Is there a true ending to this game.
People who think its too hard, just didnt play long enough to unlock better upgrades. Fun game. We cant figure out how to damage Ouroboros at the very end though? Any help.
A really lovely, simple little game. Not once did we feel that our failure was anything but a skill issue. Everything has been well-tailored to the unique and intuitive control scheme.
The game was hard in the beginning but now Im a goat the games controls just work and the game never gets boring we love the graphics like it has like an arcade feel and the enemies are creative also the duck makes a funny feature but the only thing is its not a play for hours game but besides that love the game.
This is a really fun gallery shooting game that tests your timing skills. Each level has its own challenges but as you go through each one you get faster and better at anticipating movements. Plus the levels are randomized enough that not every play through is exactly the same. We also like that even when you complete the game, there are lots of other things to unlock and so youll want to replay it to see what else you can get. We sometimes give ourselves handicaps too to really test our skills. Def recommend and hope to see new levels in the future.
As someone who has spent hours on this game and unlocked everything, we can honestly say that this game is one of the fun mobile games Ive ever played. M. Duck incorporates basic roguelike elements with goofy character designs, old school shoot em up mechanics, and very creative boss fights to deliver a game with that is highly replayable, casual, and fun. The items provide players with various choices in customizing their build and playstyles to their liking. Although the game is not story-heavy, each item and enemy you fight has their bits of unlockable lore that slowly reveals the silly story of the game as you complete the achievements for each. The bosses and enemy fights get more creative and always add something new as you progress through each wave. If you enjoying a simple, casual, yet semi-challenging game with unlockable achievements that youll replay over and over again, we would highly recommend giving M.Duck a try. We hope to see more games of this sort from the developer in the near future.
Just an hour or so in, and its amazing! Like the title says, its as cute as it is addictive. Theres an 8-bit style / arcade-era nostalgia, with really creative touch screen mapping. The animations are adorable and gameplay is quirky yet compelling. GREAT game.
Nice to find a game that isnt regurgitating the same content one hundred times over like most mobile apps. The unique controls bring a fun challenge to the table and all the different builds you can assemble to achieve victory keeps us coming back for more, even after beating it.
Not your typical mindless swipe or tap game, this game actually demands your attention. After you get used to the controls, it's hard to put down. And that duck is super cute.
It took us a while to get used to it, but once we did its so addictive! Great game and look forward to more from this developer.
Some achievements in the game are insanely hard to get, or essentially impossible. For example, how do you destroy a curse (e.g on the cursed painting or wand) PLEASE HELP.
Wanted to return the game just because we dont use it or games much. Guess we gotta become a pro now.
Its as cute and polished as other reviews have said, but it would be so, so much easier to play and pleasant overall if there werent a gap between the left and right buttons. Over and over, Id reach to tap either L or R and would land in the dead zone between both, and which has so far sapped some of charm out of the game for us. Looking forward to future updates! Edit: Not to brag, but Im playing on our iPhone 12. Best of luck in all your endeavors.
