Madness/Endless Reviews

Im honestly a bit taken aback that this game has some reviews under 5 stars. We read through them all and they are all complaining about such small and stupid things that are not game related, even in the slightest. Even though those reviewers give 3 stars and under for this game, make no mistake, they all rave about the story, the controls, and the look and feel of the game. Their complaints are not warranted because their own experiences with Madness/Endless are great and the complaints are about controller support and their own dislike on the style of the game, which is personal choice, not game related. One 3 star review even said that he will still continue to play the game WHAT? What kind of person will continue play a game that they gave 3 stars, a game that they have issues with? Unless you do like the game but you are just a jerk.

We love this. We wouldnt mind a little customization. Like earning blade colors or something. And we need a save option. Maybe there is one, but if we delete the game we want to be able to save the data so we dont do it all over again. There might be an option for that. But we havent found it. Great game, a tiny bit repetitive but the bosses are so much fun.

There is no reason this game shouldnt have almost all 5 star reviews like it does now the gameplay is very simple while still having a great story and it has many different monsters with different abilities to keep the game entertaining there is also a endless mode which you can play after you finish the story.

Just beat it! What a game. What a final battle. This game is so very polished. So creative. So perfectly, exactly balanced to be the right level of infuriatingly difficult to make the win rewarding. One reviewer said they were never frustrated. We were, for sure; but not at all in a negative way. It’s the same frustration one might get from challenging Mario levels. It’s a great challenge to overcome. Like another player, we’re not too into the horror aspect; but this one’s done well. It seems all the world has turned to madness in a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of monsters. It’s done exceptionally and REALLY works with the concept. We would play this over and over. It’s very well worth the experience.

Still working our way through it, but really neat game. Its one of those awesome indie horror games youd find on Steam, but just on mobile. Great price, interesting story and art, and fun gameplay. Highly recommend.

Its hard to find a game these days that isnt overloaded with IAP hooks or other surprises. This game plays perfectly on a phone, it was clearly designed for a touch screen and to be precise and fun. Still playing through the story but we love it so far!

Haven’t paid for an app in years.

This game is fun. So rare to find a game these that you just pay once and that’s it. No subscription or in app purchases. Worth every penny.

This is what the mobile market needs, quality games that dont shove in-app purchases in your face. $4 and it comes with an 8 hour campaign as well as an Endless mode. Honestly, we cant think of money better spent in the App Store so far. If you like a good, fun, and never frustrating challenge, get this game. It is hard, but not hard in a way that is unfair. You learn from your mistakes and get better every time. To show that, the developer has put a neat after-level sketch of your run of the level. Most of the time that we die, it is because we are trying to be too flashy and arrogant, which makes dying our fault. But honestly, that is fun too. Buy the game Do it.

We almost never leave reviews but we had to for this one. These developers have found a way to actually make a decent mobile game. Something so rare to see especially now days.

Been playing this game a bunch. Has a great lovecraft vibe and story. Gameplay is on point with great touch controls that are so hard to come by. Easy reco for an actual game not trying to IAP us into madness.

We only played a little bit past the tutorial. The atmosphere, audio, and visuals are awesome; the control mechanics look simple, interesting and different in a good way. Unfortunately there’s no controller support so this will limit how much we play this game as our disability hinders holding and gaming with our phone for extended periods of time.

We have to say, we’ve never been a fan of the Rob Zombiesh brutal, dark, eternal suffering and pain aesthetic. We know theres a certain kind of person whos into that, but it has never been for us. If you enjoyed the combat in Dandara, but not the metroidvania aspectsthis is the perfect game for you. Im not head over heels for it but Im still playing and enjoying it. It does feel like a quality experience. Ill update if we change our opinion.

We found this game through Reddit, and was pleasantly surprised. The premise of the game is simple: bust up nightmarish creatures by flinging your character from one wall to another. Avoid the red areas where the creatures are looking, or you will be driven mad. You can pause your character mid-flight and change direction, which makes for some really awesome combos! The game mechanics feel smooth as butter, and the dark world which serves as the setting seems so far unique and well-crafted. The difficulty is (again, so far) challenging enough to be appealing but never frustrating. If youre looking for something fresh, we highly recommend this game!
