We are gonna give it five stars, it is pretty interesting and cool but we wanted the butterfly’s to come faster.
We love this game and we love Lily!!!! But we don’t love how LONG it takes to get butterflies when you COULD get four and wait for an hour, you get ONE AND HAVE TO WAIT FOR AT LEAST FIVE HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cool! We have a few reccomendations, though. 1. Reduce butterfly time. 2. When you finish the book, add other stories of other people’s point of view, like cinnamon. 3. When you finish, make the choices free. 4. Make other apps like this!!!

This game is awesome and has been a wonderful experience, but we would suggest all players start with a certain amount of butterflies ranging from 5-8 and are able to use more videos to obtain them.
We love the game but the butterflies take a really long time to generate and since it’s 5 hours maybe 5 butterflies and is the story just a teaser to make some cash or will it update and if it does then when?
This game is a lot of fun. It’s also easy to play. Also the info of plants and stuff is correct and real info.
This app was amazing. We can’t wait for the next season. The only thing we didn’t like was the butterfly wait time,but other than that it was good.
This story is so interactive we love being able to choose the fate of our own character in the story ! We also love the fact you can change your appearance and all the little games and stories in the book ! So far we’ve gotten through the first part can’t wait for the rest that will be coming out soon! The only thing we would say is the butterflies do take a long time to get. Overall great app!!! Also this might be a far stretch but we think that Cora Lilly’s mom was shapeshifted into Lilly’s cat. Since in the book it states that it’s a witch that was subjected to high magic powers and they sometimes can’t control the shape shifting? We might be wrong but idk.

The story is very well written and interesting. We love the art and the puzzles, and its not too hard to get butterflies.
We love the game. Every time we come to visit we get really excited. But the only problem with the game is the fact that it takes HOURS of waiting to even get ONE butterfly. Maybe you could at least try to decrease the time and maybe make it to butterfly’s at a time. But if you’re just doing that for the money, don’t waist our time. We’re sorry to bother,but we’re just saying that if you did that the game could be better and we would maybe even rate 5 stars. Thank you for reading.
We love how we have different choices and the storyline itself is pretty interesting! The characters are cool, too. We like how the looks are diverse (there are more than 2 skin colors) and how the accessories are awesome! Our only problem is that we have to wait 6 hours just to get 1 butterfly. Come on now! Most of the choices require 2 or 3 butterflies! We do like how you can watch an ad and get a butterfly, though. This game is awesome!!! YEAHHHHH.

Okay, a lot of people is saying Cinnamon, Lilys cat is her mom, but it does not make sense when they say Cinnamon is a boy. So what we think is gonna happen is that, Lily finds out that Eric is also magical and he is probably another guardian and he is trying to get to Rufuss family. We also think that Lily will fall in love with Eric! We also think Rufus and Lily are gonna hang out more. We also think Jess will tell Pam or someone else that Lily is a witch!
We always have theories for any book, movie, TV show, and game we ever read, watch, or play. So this is our theory: Rose and Vera thought Cora died, but Cornelia put a curse on her and shapeshifted her into a cat, Cinnamon. Thats why Cornelia doesnt like cats. They also thought that Lilys dad died, but he didnt. He thought Cora died, so he remarried a black woman and his son is Eric. He thought he couldnt keep Lily safe, so he left her. Thats why Eric choose Lily during gym class, because he knew and she didnt. Jesss parents dont trust Rose and Vera because her dad is Dravuss brother. Kwans family is magic too but he didnt know. Thanks.
So we got this game pretty recently and we REALLY love it the arts really cute and the storys interesting but the wait for the butterflies is a bit much and you can only hold five butterflies at a time so you cant save them up. And then theres the reason we writing this review on chapter 11 or 12 our marigolds time bar just stopped moving it didnt even show the time till another butterfly! Although we think this is only an issue that we’ve come across But just so you know you can do things we between butterflies ^v^
We really like it and yes it is one of the best story games we have seen (so far) but you need to make the next part of the game because the way our story went at the end someone dies!!! We will not say who because someone might read this who has not played the game but please please please make the next part and we will rate 5stars :)
We love this game it is so fun and addicting. But seriously don’t put the game out there if the story is not complete. We bet it’s just a trap to get us to pay a fortune on more butterflies. But overall we really enjoyed this game. We wish we knew the rest if the story.

The game is so great we played it twice, but we really want more stories. We need to know how it ends, or even continues. We love this but its irritating to know its been nearly 2 years since an update. This game is honestly one of the greatest things we’ve played and we really want to know what happens next. The butterfly garden wait time could also be reduced.
We love this game! We just started playing it and we can hardly put it down! Our only issue is that waiting SIX HOURS for ONE BUTTERFLY is a little more than we can handle. Im impatient and we wanna keep following the story but its so engaging that we spent all our butterflies and have no more left to do so. We would appreciate it if the amount of butterflies received per six hours was boosted up a bit (even two per six hours would be an improvement!) or if the waiting time was reduced a little. Now, Im not saying that we should get ten thousand butterflies every five seconds, but just enough to keep us from falling out of the game through sheer boredom lol. Im not sure if others feel the same way or if these are simply the ramblings of a very impatient person, but we think it would help keep people from no longer playing the game because there arent enough butterflies to keep reading the story at a pace which keeps the player invested enough to continue. Anyways, this review is getting a bit too long for our tastes, so Ill just say that this game is so unique and so fun and to please keep up the good work! ;)
We love this game, but we finished it a few years ago, downloaded it again, and there have been no updates. We really wish it would have been continued, and had more story afterwards. We heard there would be a season two, but we dont think there has been one.
Its been so long since we’ve played this game but we remember really enjoying it. We were thinking of playing it again and noticed it still hasnt gotten anything new! Please add new chapters! We would love to know how it ends!
This would’ve been a five star game if the butterfly wait time is reduced. We mean, five hours for one measly butterfly? Pfff, no way! But other than that, the game is amazing and creative! We would totally recommend this people.
We are a HUGE Tapps fan and we love all of their games, especially this one, but the wait time and cost for the butterflies is far too steep.
We usually don’t give most games 5 stars, but this is an exception since the story was written so well! (Nvm, we just edited it to a 4 star, since we just checked that it’s been a full year since this games release) It also helped remind us that using white lineart was good if it was in the direction of the light source. We’re still waiting for season 2 though… Please release a sequel soon! It’d be perfect if you would. If you find any plot holes you could easy patch them up and you more than enough information and questions to answer (as well as being up, if you want) in another season. Please… It’s been a year and still nothing, you even said that there would be more adventures soon… Did you not mean it when you said that? If you do, I’d definitely add change the rating to 5 stars if you did.
Everything about this game is great. But we played this game 3 years ago, and downloaded it again, yet it still hasnt been updated past a certain chapter. So our question is. Will there be an continuation?
This is such a good game! There are some bugs tho. Like somewhere around like chapter 15 or 13 you stop getting butterflies. Like the flower doesn’t have a timer anymore it’s just the flower is healthy and proper. And then you have to watch a video to get butterflies and you only get 3 a day. And you may think at this point oh just delete the app and re download it. Yes that works but it happens at like chapter 16 so then you lose all you progress which is annoying. And also make it to where you can make an account, so that way if you need to transfer your data to another device you can sign in. Other than that a really good game.
The story is pretty interesting, and we love choose your own adventure books/games, but there is one problem. It takes too long to wait to get more butterflies, the storys great, but it takes too long to actually choose your own adventure. This would definitely be 5 stars if it didnt take as long to get more butterflies, other than that, this is a great game!
We love this game so much! We love the wardrobe, the spell book, and the story book, but there is one main problem… WHERE ARE THE BUTTERFLIES???!!! They disappeared… We are not happy!!!
Okay, imma cut to the chase. Did yall just abandon this game or something? The story is really well and we’ve been waiting for the second part!.. But then we checked the AppStore and its been 2 years since this game has been released? Now, Im not a computer tech or an author or anything so we guess we shouldnt judge too harshly because we know you have to write the story, code it and everything on the game and other computer-y stuff but seriously?! Its been TWO years. Get a move on it!!
This game is so much fun but if you dont like to read. This is not for you. You have to read to move on or if you tap on the random buttons you might have a mixed up story. Otherwise its a good game.
We love this game the story line is amazing. We love how much choice you have. But just a few things here and there one of those problems is butterflies you shouldnt have to need them for every choice just every other choice or something like that. Also the locks in the gimore are way to hard people play this game for a fun experience not to do math and puzzles if they want that they can go and get a puzzle game. Also another thing about the gimores locks there much to hard for little kids it says 4 and plus (which it is) But in all reality can a four year old slolve that problem? We DONT THINK SO! And the flowers just stop working after a while of playing u cant take care of it and it dosent give you butterflies. So we finished the season and lives it but whens the new one coming please make it.

The game is really fun and a great storyline, but there is one problem. We just started playing and after five minutes we have to wait SIX HOURS just to continue playing. For the butterflies instead of waiting six hours just to continue playing please use the butterflies for something special if its gonna be six hours. Other than that its a great game and very interesting.
We keep going back to our garden to check the time, but there is NO time which means no butterflies and that equals no playing! Can you fix this? And maybe fix the time as well? We mean 6 hours is too much for those good choices that take more than 1 butterfly.
So we downloaded this game a few months ago and deleted it in the first three days because the butterfly counter added time on or just wouldnt collect butterflies while we were asleep. We have since redownloaded it where these problems were fixed: the counter was stable we didnt have to manually collect each butterfly every six hours and the time taken off for tending the garden also consistently applied. However we woke up today and the counter was blank. No progress bar until the next butterfly, no response to watering or stroking the marigold. We tried watching a few ads to get more progress in the game which is to its credit very fun, thinking something along the lines of well the developers have to get revenue somehow. Then the ads for butterflies grayed out. The game is fun, we like the branching paths and have very little to critique with the art style and cleverness in regards to storytelling. Unfortunately that doesnt mean that much if the base mechanics arent stable enough to finish the game without having to invoke a pay to play system. Lots of people would be onboard for spending money to progress in less time, but for those who have time but not money its a very frustrating experience to play a game that youre actually into then finding it has a paywall. Please look through the code and make the Marigold/butterfly system more stable for iOS. And since this is a branching path game, Id like to ask for some kind of system that once someone does get through the available content they can replay it without deleting the old save. Like a read only version while they can start from the beginning and make different choices but still look at what happened on another path.
Hi person who made this game!! We really love it but, Once we got our new tab, we were rewinding the time. When we went back on this game, it told us we were using time travel magic. We had to wait 2 days and then it reminded back to like 131 days we had to wait to get our next butterfly. Please change this issue!! P.S. STILL LOVE THE GAME NO MATTER WHAT!!
The story line is super cute but after having the game download for 24 hours the game quit giving us butterflies to continue through the story. Our flower is healthy but the timer disappeared and the bar doesnt fill up anymore.
When we first played this it really sucked! But maybe if we play more Ill learn more.
We love this game, its so fun to play but that all changed a few days ago. We went to our garden in the morning like we always do, when we checked on our flower, the timer was just gone? Now we cant get butterflies, and even the free videos stopped working! The only possible way we can play now is if we pay, :( Please fix this!
So like others have said you need butterflies to do anything in the game. You get these through taking care of a garden however when we went to our garden the timer is blank so no more butterflies unless we pay for each which means paying for every page of this story. Fix this and we’ll give it better stars.
We like what we’ve seen so far, but playing the game free is slower than most of the games we have played. Butterfly regeneration pace makes staying engaged with the game difficult.
The enigmas in the game are too hard for us and our daughter to solve!
No more butterflies show up and watching videos for butterflies does not work. The flower is healthy, but there is no timer, just a gray bar. We cant continue the story. We’ve looked for answers online, but everyone who has the same problem, doesnt know how to fix it and they havent gotten an answer. Please fix this soon.
