We enjoy the game a lot, but there are broken dungeons that crash the app and leave you completely unable to upgrade some of your creatures. It is really frustrating, especially with how much they have pushed pay to win features. IOS mobile versus iPad also seem to have different pricing schematics.
Its a great game except for the fact that everythings very expensive coin wise but you get very little coins unless you pay Im all for watching Adds, but even the ads dont provide enough.
We really want to like this game, but it crashes at least every 5-10 minutes, mostly during adds, but also during battles or opening reward chests.
Loves the game but certain dungeons the game crashes.
So its fun. You grow. And then you get locked. You cant get no more chest. Because the arena gets to the point you cant beat it period. They are so overpowered. So we refuse to buy expensive packs. We bought a few at the beginning. So we think Im gonna walk away. We cant progress anymore. Ive been doing it over and over for a week.
We love this game, but any ad in the game does not have the option to close/exit. Just like with most games, there are options to watch ads to get free stuff. Unfortunately, the ads in this game force you to download the game in the ad, because they all lack a close/exit button.
The game itself seems to be pretty solid but you need to go through ads for materials. The ads are the worst we have come across. We would rather watch 5 minutes of ads than have to spend 5-10 minutes playing a different game repeatedly just so 25% of the time it just freezes. You are forced to play the same ad level over and over again just to be able to upgrade your units.
We like the game but lately Im get sexually explicit ads and we report them and than we get them again. If you keep feeding ads like this we will delete the game. And you cant skip them and they make you click on them to continue the timer. FIX THIS ISSUE.
We were sceptical, we had been fooled before, but thisgame delivers the true experience ive been missing.
Good game just last used doesnt seem to work on our phone.
We have played this game off and on for quite a few years now. We even restarted (3 times) having got to the max arena level. Our main issue is that the Scholomance dungeons are unplayable. They crash on entering all the time. No idea why, its been the case for years. Nothing else crashes for us. Pleeease fix the Scholomance dungeons. And fwiw other dungeons are prone to crashing but if you load up the game again you can at least make progress. O and you dont need to spend money. Buying the first boost for $0.99 is worth it to get you going faster but after that, patience, doing the daily/weekly quests and above all completing the Monday towers will boost your armies enormously and keep you a happy camper! Also, why not allow multiple accounts? This game would be so fun if we could run one account per race say. We mostly go with castle (for Arch angels) but it would be fun to try building up an count with necro say or inferno, Now fix the dungeons please.

Some ads have no way to close, chair yoga looking at you, really a good game but ads that dont close have a negative impact on the product advertised.
Great game. Since the late May 2025 update, the ads are no longer proving awards. They just get stuck at the end. Otherwise, 5 stars.
The game itself is fun to play but the ads kill any enjoyment. Many are broken and require rebooting the game. Some ads can be up to 2 minutes long. Fix the ad problem and we give it 5 stars.
We played this game a long time ago but it was under a different name. It was called heroes of might and magic. Sadly, we did like that version a lot better than this one.

Where are the new maps recently advertised? What cant we open dungeons even though have the requisite number of keys to di so.
Its a great game but we gave it three stars because there are bugs in the adds. Its very annoying that adds are essential for gaining money, resources and the ability to fight way more often. But its right out awful when half the adds you watch to progress dont even work because they wont let you exit the add there for you get no rewards. If that gets fixed its an easy 5 star review.
Legit the Unity ads require to force close and restart the app. P2W.
Way too many Ads in other to keep playing, ads are long several minutes. Makes the game a waste of your time.
The game is ok. The ad server is broken making it unplayable.
The game itself is okay, even good for someone whos played homm3 for decades. The ad was tolerable at first but after a certain update, it became unbearable because there is a chance (about 30%) of not getting the reward after watching the ad.

Amazing game, we can play it every day. But we finished all the maps and we hope there will be more. Our profile got too strong! And we never paid a single dollar.

This game takes us back to homm3. Feels like Im playing a new updated campaign map. We used to love this game. We would love to give it a 5 star but like most reviews, the game is buggy. It always freezes especially warhammer ads. Sometimes your hero has no spell points. Once you go to higher maps, the monsters are tougher but the prizes remain tiny. We mean really tiny. Some castles have instant kills meaning the monsters are so strong, one hit and your troops are dead. Even before your first move, its over. Theres no point to fighting the roaming monsters or castles at higher stages. At hero level 30 you need 2.9 BILLION points to level up. Each group killl only nets 10 or 20 million so that means we need 200-300 group kills. We used to play daily. Now we wait for the tournaments. We have all the heroes, maxed them to 20 and 30, got all the monsters. Now its pointless to play the game.
We would have paid a reasonable price to get rid of ads and keep playing but it was crazy expensive to keep playing. Big let down.
We were hoping this game would be different and at first its a lot of fun without grabbing for cash. By day 2-3 our progress started to stall but because it didnt immediately grab for cash we spent about $10 because we thought the game was worth this. The purchased opened up the game for about a day but now Im stalled again and bombarded with offers for up to $99! Get a grip people! Stop paying for this and build some other end game content besides pay walls. All we can do now is wait for days doing next to nothing until we watch enough adds to afford a little more progress. Its silly – but this is almost every App Store game out there now. The business model is develop as little content as you can and throw up pay walls.
We have beaten the whole game which was very fun but the events are not fair. They have rewards that even if you beat the whole thing you dont have enough to purchase. Seems odd.
Hi Support, we clicked on a recent Green reward box we earned from the arena and then an add popped up for a discounted purchase and it never gave us our reward from the green box. Can you remedy this situation? Thanks.
Our game isnt opening on phone anymore.
Love this game, but recently the ads have made it unplayable. The majority of ads will not close out and force you to restart the game, resulting in your army not being healed and thus unable to continue. Please fix this and Ill adjust rating back to 5 stars.
Ive been playing this game for a few weeks now daily. Started before the most recent update. We were thoroughly enjoying this game. No actual pay walls. Very nostalgic. The ads in game WERE completely worth it. By the time to you would finish the ad, your army would be relatively healed. You could get free rewards from the store for watching one every few hours. Now every ad is broken and you cant get any free rewards. You cant double your rewards by watching the ads. Please fix this. This new update otherwise made an already addicting game have depth and longevity. Please fix the ads/rewards system. We had to upgrade our rating to the 5-Star from our previous lower rating. Thank you for fixing the ad problem. We have continued to play this game even through this time and because Ive been enjoying it so much we bought some of the chest offers that appear. Every purchase we made significantly improved our play level. It wasnt a waste of money if you dont mind paying towards mobile games. We can say without a doubt, this game can be free to play or you can speed up with in game purchases. Either way this game is super addicting and a ton of fun. You have to at least try it.
Last update ruined it. We have been playing for 2 years and the arena is entirely unplayable now. Fun for a long time and challenging, now every hero we face is maxed out in every category and ability. Impossible to win = pointless. Ill wait around for a second to see if they correct with another update but it seems most likely to uninstall. Updated: the AI can score higher then you can in the arena, getting to the top of the leaderboard becomes literally impossible at a point.
The ads are freezing at the end and not providing rewards. Its every time now.
The Last Zombie War ads are busted and theres no way to close them out when you watch one for free army revival. We havent had this problem before the update. Its a roll of the dice which ad you get, so we might have to open and close several times to revive our army after a grueling fight. Please remove those busted ads. We love this game otherwise.
The game is great but The ads system in this game is abysmal, by far the worst we have ever seen.. We have no issue with fair advertising but broken ads the get stuck in a loop and hostage ads that lock you up indefinitely are intolerable. None of the ads seem to complete to earn rewards. Everytime we try & it happens, we switch to another of our games. Other games are getting our $ until this is resolved.
Playing this game third day and Im stuck on 3rd map. Our cards not powerful to bit the castle. Or spend money to upgrade our cards or just wait for a week or three month to have a little bit of progress.
The game initially appears like heroes of might and magic but the play is not the same. As a former player of the former game we were disappointed. Ive played the game a few weeks now and if you are starting out you need to understand that if you want to succeed you will have to spend a good amount of money to progress. Definitely have to spend more than Im willing to put into a game we play on our phone.
Ive been playing this game for years. Great game. After the latest update our Craig Cone hero was not updated properly. He is a level 40 but was updated with only 2 stars. We love the game but have gotten no response to the emails Ive sent. Great great game lacks customer support.
Christmas event doesnt work and will need to restart the game.
We like the game a lot and have been playing for about a month. Problem is resource gathering is slow! You cant really earn enough gold and gems for all the leveling up required to be able to compete with the AI early on. Im not going to spend a lot of real money on any game, including this one. Thinking about deleting it honestly.
This game definitely brings a healthy dose of HOMM nostalgia for us older gamers. For that we give it two stars. Unfortunately, the in-game mechanics are completely different than the original. There are no castle upgrades, no resource benefits to taking any land, no troop recruitment. What it ends up being is a commercial watching game where you continually watch commercials to get tiny chests that have a couple troops in them. It is fun at first when you are on the easier maps as the enemy is also very weak and you can win and then wait a second for your troops to heal. Soon, though, you are fighting against enemies that can destroy your entire party in one turn. Your only way to continue to play is to buy expensive chests that might give you some units that make you able to keep playing. After every fight, you must wait 20 minutes for your units to heal or watch another commercial to keep playing. It constantly demands jewels and coins to upgrade to be able to keep playing. For example, there are areas of the map that are not accessible unless you pay 2000 gems. If you dont pay those gems you cant completely clear the level, but if you do pay there isnt anywhere near 2000 gems worth of treasure to be gained in the entire part of the map. How would you accumulate 2000 gems? Well, you get 5 gems per commercial so you can watch 400 minutes of advertisements to access this area. Stupid. We enjoyed it for a few days and they got $20 bucks out of us or so, but pretty quickly it dies off. Stay away.
