Mahjong Myth is a free mahjong game based on a classic Chinese game.(also known as Shanghai Mahjong, Taipei Mahjong, Kyodai, Mahjong Trails, or Shanghai mahjongg)
The aim of the game is to remove all the playing tiles in the fastest time, while trying to achieve the highest score. Each tile has a picture on it, there are 43 different pictures in total. Tiles must be selected and matched with other tiles of the same picture. Whenever you match two tiles, they both disappear, and when all tiles have disappeared the game is over.

Good over all… Almost addicting.
Finally a game thats not pay to play! Lots of levels and great replay value. There are ads, but they are only a few seconds long and you dont have to interact with them. We love this one.

This the best Mahjong solitaire game Ive tried. Well programmed. Our only complaint is that there isnt an upgrade to an ad-free version. Some of the ads run a long time before you can start a new game.
Most online domino games are filled with obstacles designed to trick the player into spending money. This one is much more pleasurable and even has nice music. This is the best one Ive found.
We love the tons of layouts and that there are a dozen tile designs. We like that the app is easy to navigate and there are options for game play. Just a few notes: Id be ecstatic if you added more tile designs! We play more games in a row if we can switch btw lots of designs. We think the star gage is a bit fast. With layouts including 8 layers and hundreds of matches and tile designs that are very similar, its very challenging to get one star on most of them, much less three.
Tiles with thin lines are hard to make out since several look alike not like other games in which theyre well defined. Correcting that will definitely earn them five stars.
This could be just as enjoyable as the developers other apps if there was some way to turn off the endlessly annoying music.
Ive been enjoying Mahjong Myth for a couple of weeks. Our phone updated to IOS 14.4.1 today, and apparently Mahjong Myth updated at the same time. Now the new opening screen comes up, but nothing is tappable. Please fix it, we really like this game.
Too bad the bug fix created a worse issue. It was an enjoyable game.
Apparently they didnt test this out with the latest iOS version, because even after deleting & reinstalling twice, it just freezes.
Ive played this game for years and loved it but it doesnt work at all after the latest update. The app launches but we cant click on start to play. So sad! Please provide a fix or an update soon.
Like this game but the app doesnt work anymore cant play. We will gladly give a better review if someone fixes the problem.
Dont waste your time and money. After two weeks new intro screen frozen. Deleted this rip off.
We loved the old version, played it daily, but your new one wont even open on our Mac devices. Is there any kind of work-around.
App updated yesterday and now it is not working. Opens to main menu but freezes up there. Nothing works.

Get it! Fun, decent music, good graphics.
It is addictive. We start playing and loose track of time we like that we can shuffle the tiles or start over.
Ads not intrusive, shuffles dont cost money, and the tiles and layouts are fantastic.

We love Mahjong games but we are very picky. Over the last couple years we have tried multiple apps. Previously, we really enjoyed Mahjong Journey, however the options in THIS game make it perfect!!! Pros: Many, many tile choices Many, many level shapes The OCD in us loves that we are allowed to COMPLETE each level, the tiles do not freeze or disappear. No time limit This game has sooooo many preference choices that it can be altered/personalized for anyone! Provides a challenge if we want, or a fun relaxing game, what ever our mood is. Ads are not obnoxious FREE!!! Cons: After playing for a few weeks, NO cons. The game has so many options to keep us entertained for a very long time.
There are tons of mahjong games out there but this is one of the best designed tile and layout efforts we have seen. And FREE! The designers must be true masters and truly enjoy having the rest of us derive such pleasure from this delightful app. Many thanks to you all.

This is a solid Mahjong game. Great tile designs, varied layouts, and the ads are minimal and not obtrusive at all.
We really enjoy this Mahjong version! It has so many different choices of background themes, neat tile sets, lots of different Mahjong games to keep on playing for a very long time! Yes, we really like this game very much.
Lots of options, no ads, easy to play. Just wish the tiles were a bit larger so they would be easy to see.
We dont pay much attention to our score, but we have to wonder what kind of people are able to get multiple stars on a level. We have been playing for a while and have never received a single star on any level. Luckily, you dont have to be a speed demon in order to enjoy this solitaire game.
