Mission 3 Walkthrough – specially for all Majesty fans! http://youtu.be/CWLlHzYqEV4

Do you know the easiest way to kill a dragon? Just stuff a sheep or ram with a heap of poisonous filth and feed it to a dragon. Of course it's not the most heroic method but it is very safe and effective.

Another option is to announce a reward for the dragon’s head. After that the only thing you have to do is wait while the army of heroes, wizards and freaks drive a monster to its grave. It is always necessary to find a solution to the dragon problem because all the members of this scale-winged tribe have the same disease. It is a strong allergy to humans and their settlements and all dragons use the only medicine against this illness; total annihilation of the humans.

Troubles with dragons are in the forefront of “Majesty: The Northern Expansion”. Of course you’ll have to defend your kingdom from the other evil spawns, for example how about the giant stone golems that have an outstanding amount of hit points? Expanding the territory of your kingdom and starting the northern expansion in the land of the frost and winter you’ll have to rack you brains over the riddle of fire-spitting monsters.

All who liked the original mobile game “Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim” will undoubtedly be pleased by its add-on “Majesty: The Northern Expansion” which gives an opportunity for players to continue their conquest in a new snowy location.

“Majesty: The Northern Expansion” – it’s time to feed the dragons!

Game features:

  • New missions and new location – Northern Lands
  • Legendary indirect control strategy totally adapted for mobile platforms
  • 10 types of heroes with dozens of statistics, weapons and armor

Community Insight:

Im just going to echo our review of majesty here: Best kingdom builder sim game ever made… Hands down. Ok maybe theres a little bit of nostalgia prejudice but honestly this game has aged so well. We love the world, we love the mechanics, we LOVE the music which is the same as the original game, and we love that the mobile game is nearly identical to the original game. We lose the voice acting in the mission objective screen and the priestesses of Krypta are now priests for some reason, which bummed us out, but honestly if thats the worst you can find in a game, you have a winner. Take our money, we freakin love Majesty and its Expansion. And add that the expansion makes this great game even better. It is worth EVERY PENNY! Seriously Ive had this game on all of our iPhones and iPads for years and its always being upgraded and works with the newest iOS. All we have to say to this developer is keep up the good work! And Thank You.

Ive played this game a ton. It is now severely imbalanced. You can buy IAPs to make the game like it used to be. Or we guess you could play on pacifist, the easiest difficulty. We guess it brings them more money though.

We're a huge fan of the pc game of majesty so we were excited yet skeptical of this game when we saw it in the App Store. We were pleasantly surprised with how good this game is at capturing the core game of the pc version. You play this game the same way you do on pc. You build your marketplaces, recruit heroes, build a blacksmith for the heroes to upgrade their equipment, etc. When we downloaded the game it did say that it would need to be updated to work on ios11 so hopefully it works right whenever we decide to finally update. We do wish the game wasn't so far zoomed out though since all of our units and buildings are pretty small so we don't feel as involved in the fights and it makes it harder to click on our units when they're fighting enemies. We liked how close it was in the original Majesty app. Besides that we would love to see more of the heroes from the full game added in a future update. We give it 5 stars, they did a great job with this app.

It's almost just like playing the PC version. We've miss playing it. We just wish the PC version was updated for the newer Windows.

We grew up having these games and was looking for a digital download on our computer when someone mentioned they made them for mobile. It's exactly the same game as the computer and is a boatload of fun if you have never tried it. There are only a handful of games like it. We were expecting to find bugs but found few and the controls are fine (many ports from old games have clunky controls it seems) well worth the money.

They added 64 bit support so it can stay on the App Store.

Please update this game and release new stages, characters, etc.

Its amazing and has been burned into our mind since we were a child. Also this port is great.

Been playing this since 2012. Loved every minute. Please keep it up to date.

We first played majesty as a child and always come back to play it because of its replay value, but it's slowly losing that now. Hopefully we'll get a newer majesty soon, with new heroes/towers/monsters/maps all of that.

We would have easily paid $9.99 for this game. It's a solid kingdom management simulator. No ads, no intrusive in-game notifications. This game was developed a long, long time ago… Why aren't there better kingdom management simulators after all this time? Sadly this super dated game is still the best we've got imo. We're not really interested in playing pay-to-play games that attempt to fill it's shoes.

Ive loved this original game for years. Was stoked to find the Northern Kingdom version recently. A game that isnt demanding our money all the time is pretty nice. The option is there for in app purchases, but its not necessary to actually get somewhere in the game.

We love this game wish there were more like this simple yet challenging and not hard on the wallet! Hey guys hows about making some more expansions.

We were happy to see majesty transition to a tablet. We played it as a desktop version. There were some features that werent bought over from the old desktop version. We still like playing.

Can play this and the earlier version for hours.

We loved playing Majesty and the Northern Expansion on our PC years ago. We were very happy to find them in the App store! We wish that the apps had more of the buildings that we remember the PC version having- especially the building that let you train your heroes to make them stronger. There is also a cap on the number of heroes you can have in the app and we don't remember the PC version doing that. It's still fun and we love being able to play on our iPad from the comfort of our couch! The humor in the game is a lot fun.

We really enjoyed how the game was structured. We used cheats on the computer, and it was refreshing to face the challenge with the accessibility of using our fingers.

This is one of our favorite mobile games but this expansion only has the new enemies and graphics and not any of the new buildings that the other version has/had.

The game is fun for what it is. We really liked the challenge figuring out certain scenarios like the elf magician mission. It was worth the low $2.99, but the writing expresses some disturbing views of women. Binding the female dwarf paladins to the warriors guild? And the harpy scenario defending polygamy was really unnecessary. For us it takes away from the charm of the game. Im also disappointed they didnt include more from the original games like the bond between the barbarians and rangers. And there arent rogues, taverns, or the other temples. We understand they cant make an exact replica so this is fine and brings back memories of playing the PC game.

Awful representation of a beloved classic.

Played the PC Ver. And both are great games but, this one needs some bugs fixed. Have completed several missions in the gold medal time and it displayed it as such but, the game doesnt actually award on the map or give credit for it beyond the mission complete notification.

We love it, it's just like the PC game from YEARS ago, but come on!!!!! Update it already! It's eating away at our tablets battery and memory like crazy.

This is a port of a game we used to play originally for PC. Some improvements have been made but as usual it's dumbed down. This would have been a fantastic port of the old fantasy real-time strategic sim builder with heroes running around on their own RPG-like grind to level up and get gold. Pros: Humorous and entertaining scenarios, improved artistic styling of the Warrior of Discord and Paladin heroes, engaging kingdom building sim with monsters vs the kingdom, good old original soundtrack. Buildings no longer require builders, they just build automatically, slower the more repairs and building is at hand. Wizard tower spells are no longer limited to a spell radius around magic towers. Fun diverse classes/guilds with specialized spells, skills and equipment. Pro and Con: Same old autonomous AI heroes, not much of a way around that. Some RTS players will be frustrated by the autonomous AI controlled heroes while others may find it liberating and entertaining as we did with the original. Cons: Biggest pet peeve and sim sin of all, YOU blank insert curse limited the number of heroes and buildings; only 20 heroes!! We used to enjoy playing after victory, covering the playable area in buildings waiting until heroes got up to level 600 something by letting it play over night, no kidding. The overall artistic style and details of the original game are dulled or lost to the cartoony puerile superficial App Store style so common in modern fantasy games, however the original detail would be displayed improperly on mobile phone screens. Rangers have been so nerfed, right out of the box a sewer rat can eat them for lunch; we just don't use them. Wizards, much as before, even above level 20 are overpowered killing machines until a goblin sneezes and then they die, especially if that sneeze is a projectile. Tax collectors should've been replaced by an automatic tax collection event over intervals of time just as the builders are only implied and replaced by an automatic construction process. We never understood why elves and dwarves were limited to 2 and 3 per guild; why not 4 like the other guilds? The names for heroes and buildings are permanent and can't be changed like they could in the original, which is problematic as random hero names/titles are lousy and so few titles exist that often we get the same name for 2 or more heroes which causes confusing if we want to resurrect/reanimate one searching through the guild lists. As in the original, heroes have a sex assigned with their class; preferably there would be random sex assignment for each hero type with a unique sex-specific animated look and portrait for each class, even if it's a tall order it would add a lot more diversity and character. Rogues, rogue guilds, cultists, temples to Fervous and spells, magic bazaars with potions, outposts, gambling halls, elven lounges, gnome heroes, inns, embassies, monks, temples to Dauros and spells, poison/healing herbs, many monster types and lairs, temples to Lunord heroes and spells, temple to Solari heroes and spells, are all removed. Why take out so friggin much? Bring some stuff back. In conclusion, it's a good little app if you like the original, but be prepared to eat some of the old and new drivel that comes with the game. Probably worth the price, just don't even bother with the demo-like free money pit version if you want the game, except to get a taste of what you're buying.

Whenever we play it, the bug gets worse and now it crashes as soon as we open it up.

We loved the first version – both the PC version and the IPad. We played through all the quests on the first version and purchased the NE maps before we finished them. We fired up the NE expansion and played through the tutorial and loaded the first version. It started to load. 75% of the way there it crashed. Tried again. Crashed. After 5 more tries we gave up. We love the game and am very disappointed that it won't run. Hope they fix it.

Really bad game 1st 2 missions are fun and doable but the 3rd mission you will have to put it on weenie mode to pass it. We tried every tactic and still can't pass the 3rd one on normal mode we have to much pride to put it in weenie mode good luck and try to have fun.

We love this game we recommend everyone play it.

Idk what all these bad reviews are about. It's really fun and challenging to get your castle set up during some of the missions. We recommend it if you have the patience to play out a lvl that could take an hour or more. Oh and devs can there be buildings like bakeries and other stores for your heroes to buy stuff.

This game is hard. We mean, really hard. The difficulty levels are silly, as even medium is almost too hard to play the game and win. If you turn it down (aside from the gamer guilt for playing on n00b) it's so slow you could fall asleep. And why is it so hard? Because the AI is ridiculous. Heroes wander off while the city is mercilessly laid to waste, and get killed while they're out (the game tells you by scrolling little messages in tiny tiny red print right about where your hand goes to hold the iPad. We don't even know how you'd see it or know on the iPhone. It's a shame- it's fun as a concept goes, it seems like it would be a fun game if you could get anywhere with it.

Tutorial level keeps popping up instruction which isn't actionable on that screen. Then, trying to find a level we can actually play, it's not clear where to go– but there is a random button you can click on that let's you buy something to be unlocked.

Despite the name, this game is not at all like the original Majesty series. It has the same mechanics, but the intuitive and creative flexibility of the original version has been sucked out. Instead of giving the player the space to discover multiple options to victory, this developer has decided to pigeon-hole you into a single solution for each level. All of the units except for the warrior have been nerfed, and the monster spawn rate and difficulty has been jacked up to a point where it is impossible to win on even medium difficulty. The hero AI is terrible, which is saying a lot considering how stupid they can be in the original, and each one of our heroes is constantly swamped by monsters. We've been a long-time fan of these games on the PC and we've played all the way through the original, even beating the super difficult final level. But the way this game is balanced, even an expert player like ourselves cannot manage the best rating on medium, much less beat hard. It is clear that this kind of balancing has been done on purpose to push you into buying their premium IAP currency for cheats and other crutches. We and other players have complained about this balance disaster on here and on the TouchArcade forums, where Herocraft has posted. However, they have conspicuously ignored every user complaint, even making posts to advertise the latest update but never replying to angry customers. With this most recent update, they did improve the difficulty curve, but only barely, with every unit except the warrior still a complete waste of money. That they did not even mention this in the changelog says a lot about what kind of company this is. If this is your kind of PR and customer service, then we want nothing to do with you. This is not the Majesty that filled our gamer youth with hundreds of hours of fun. You will not be getting our money again.

We love apps with medieval themes like this one. The graphics are great, gameplay is fun. Very good app.

We have played Majesty on the PC for several years. So when we saw this app we were ecstatic and bought it instantly. This app has mostly held up to our expectations, although there are a few things missing and changed (we.e. Trading posts, a few temples, fairgrounds, goblins, wargs, health of friendly ai, etc.). We do hope they add some of those missing things in sometime soon, but all in all, this is worth the money.

We have played the PC versions of this series so we know first hand how this game should play and how it does not here. This verson of the game is heavily inbalanced, the units have been made far too weak from the PC version for the only reason we can assume, to drive players toward the IAP currency. This is a flawed port and it is intentional so in order to push revenue. Units fall like flies wearing paper armor; we know,, we have the PC version of these games still installed on our computer and went back to play them to see if perhaps we were just remembering wrong… We wasn't, you guys threw a monkeywrench under the hood of this game! If you have played this game before you will see right from the start the feel of the units and notice right a way that they are severely gimped from their original version, which makes for a game that is not very enjoyable when for all intents and purposes it should be! We loved this series and we were okay with the minor tweaks in the previous port. This however, is ridiculous! We understand a developer needs to make money, but don't do so to the point that you ruin the original games feel that you are porting! So disappointed in HeroCraft with this one.

It's a nice strategy game with a great gameplay, the graphics could be better. The story behind is quite interesting. It's a great app.

Emensive graphics and simple and awesome game. Download it we recommend.

We really didint think this was going to be that good but this is really quite great! There is a incredible amount of depth to this gem of a game. We guess its an expansion to a existing game of franchise but it really stands on its own as a great game just by itself. The only complaint we have is some of the text is really small on the phone. We're sure its fine on the iPad though. Anyway, if you like this sort of game you should check this one out.

A good adventure game. The visual and sound effects are good. And there are different modes to choose from. It is Universal and plays well on both the iPhone and iPad.

Simple perfect, really amazing game.

How can you beat an entire expansion for under a buck. Cannot beat this game; hours of fun.

Fun little medieval castle war game.

We find this app very interesting. We like the game and the graphics and it is easy to keep entertained playing with it, totally addictive.

Good variation and continuation of the majestic themed games. If you are into strategy games this is superb.

Fun game. The graphics are really nice and the gameplay is nice as well.

This game is very good. Good graphics and gameplay. Our only problem was its hard to read and see the controls on a phone. This game would be much better on a tablet. Other than that this game is great.

It's hard to see with the smaller screen on top of that it is rather complicated to figure out even with a tutorial. There is a lot of room for improvement.

It has a pretty retro feel but the graphics can be rough on the eyes, especially the rain. The game is somewhat difficult to learn.

As many apps of this type, it doesn't take into account how small the screen of an iPhone is. The game is okay. It's unoriginal but fairly basic. Just an average game.

Nice premise, but these Kindom games have flooded app store, plus a few of them are free and have better graphics, better gamplay. If this game is really sold in $3, we really reckon it's a rob based on this quality. More features are needed.

Good game we could do without all the memes though. The graphics are ok, we've also had some crashes happen, but the game is quite fun.
