It would be five stars if it was a lot more lengthy. We would pay if it took most of the weekend to go through.

This is a story base game based on world war 2. Its not a free version of a game, there are no lives, hints, gems, coins, diamonds, or points to buy, its totally free to play, if you dont mind the ads. Enjoy it for what it is, a free game that makes you think.
Great game to bad it wasn't longer it definitely had us hooked. We think they should do it on like Iwo Jima, Okinawa or Guadalcanal. That would be awesome.

This game is too short. Thankfully it is free but for us to pay for it or want to play it more than once we need a longer better story. We love the story so far but we need more! If the dev could create a story about the entire pacific theater like Sabres of infinity then we would most definitely pay $3 if not more.
This game has potential, but it's just too short. A longer version of a game kind of like this would be great.
We hoped we would like it, and expected it to be short because it was free, but the writing was to generic like the author was trying to hard to set a tone and there are innumerable grammar mistakes within the first few pages that made it hard to enjoy reading.

Loved it. It was detailed and from other reviews accurate to military. There are 7 commendations you can receive for what happens and different rankings you can receive. We loved it.
Although we wish there were more choices for each scenario.
This game is great! It never gets old. You HAVE to buy this game.
Probably the best one we have played. Buts it's only a chapter! Maybe if there was more, like how you do different battles and your soldiers rank up and all the soldiers have personalities…just a thought.

The most strategic choice-script game yet.
We don't like to read, but once we played this game we were engaged in its detail and creativity. It gives you a small taste of what one can only imagine what marines went through. Definitely want more games like this.

We love this game. We play it all the time on our Ipod. The last time we played, we did something we think is nearly impossible. If you have done it, you know what we mean.

Text-based games like Zork are always fun because you're picturing what is going on in your own head. This is one of those games.
A truly original and brilliant app. It's like those "choose your own adventure" book, but in a WWII setting. Perfect for anyone who is a WWII fanatic, and well written.
As soon as we began to get deeply into the story, it ended. We were kinda let down, and wish it was much longer with many more missions you can do. But, none the less, one of the better Text Adv. Games we've played.
We really liked the game fun to play but way to short add some more battles.
This is a very intriguing plot. We would truly enjoy another string if plots even if it mean paying $0.99 for say another 7 or 8 plots. We truly enjoy the use of Carlson's Raiders Marine Battalion, as the focal point of the plots. This could be very big! We have already told all our friends about this game. Please seriously consider making more of these. They are very enjoyable and addicting.
The games okay. If it were longer, had more action, and easier to die, then the game would have been exceptional. They should have made several, not just one, missions.
Well-researched, hot-blooded yarn is brought down by its occasional grammatical errors and sometimes "fanficky" narrative. Also discovered one bug so far. Four stars instead of three because this interactive fiction was quite compelling and packed with great historical details. A good copy editor could turn this into a five-star experience. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable adventure from start to finish, and one we plan to revisit frequently. RECOMMENDED.
